"Well we won't let ourselves do that, will we?" Shimofuri hummed at she ran her fingers through the pile of toys. "Mr. cave, can you make a knight ona horse appear?" she asked into the air, and smiled as she watched a few bright red knights appear in the pile. She began to set them among the guards.

"I hope not. Do me a favor; if you see me trying to make off with more than my fair share, give me agood whack in the head or something. Remind me of what a nice stain I'd make beneaht a big pile of rocks......ooh!" He was distracted by the knights appearing and Shimofuri positioning them, and he was struck by a sudden, scary, wonderful thought. He leaned closer to Shimofui and spoke in an excited whisper. "Tell me something....if you could be a part of that little golden kingdom, what would you choose to be?"

Shimofuri giggled as she listened to Nefir, and sang to him, "Don't worry, I won't let you do anything too stupid!" She smiled in a sly way when he asked her who she wanted to be, an lightly smacked him on the top of his head. "Isn't it ovious? I would be queen!" she said as she winked and made a peace sign with her fingers.

Nefir grinned back sheepishly and shrugged. "Well, in case you were wanting to be someone else.....'cause you know what?" He let his voice drop to a whisper. "I think this cave can do that. For real."
He suddenly found himself feeling weird, and he gasped as everything around him seemed to grow. He saw the hills of gold turn to mountains, the tiny castle and it's metal figures growing, until he found himself standing in the courtyard, surrounded by shiny stone-faced Namrah standing in ramrod-straight formation. He looked about him at the towering mountains of gold overlooking the castle, at the moat that gleamed with a million miniscule sapphires, even at the jade grass and the flowers with jewels for petals poking shyly out in groups of three.
Momentarily speechless, he turned every which way. "Sh...Shimofuri?"

Shimofuri stood for a while, staring in awe with her mouth slightly open at the growing kingdom. She fell down in shock, and just continued to stare at the changing scene, struck dumb by the golden cobblestone walkways and the flowing water of sapphires. She looked at Nefir, hoping that she wasn't imagining this. The ground was cold, as it should be, and there was a breeze coming from over the moat from the mountains, as it should have. "D-did...this...just...?" she stuttered out, pointing shakily at the shining walls and the dark read stone namrah around her.

Nefir was relieved to see that Shimofuri was right there with him, and he nodded quickly. "Yeah! The cave shrank us, and now WE'RE the toys!" He reached up and felt his head; sure enough, a small crown was perched there, and he could feel the jewels poking out of it in various spots. He looked at Shimofuri and pointed." You've got a crown too! Now we really are the king and queen of......of.......hey, what should we call this place?"

Shimofuri slowly reached her hand up to on top of her head to feel the cool gold that was atop it. She couldn't believe it, now she really was a queen. She stood up, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath before yelling as she pointed out at the emerald flower field, "We shall call this place 'Hougyoku Castle'!" She then looked at Nefir and casually asked, "You ok with that?"

Nefir cocked his head curiously. "Houg-what? That sounds kinda odd; doesn it stand for something?" While waiting for an answer, he peered closely at the rows of golden Namrah, who still had yet to make any sort of movement.

Shimofuri giggled as she slightly leaned in towards Nefir. "Hougyoku, it means jewel in Japanese. I think it's a rather fitting name for this place!" she said before skipping over to one of the statues and poking it. "Hey, you think this things are ever gonna move?" she asked as she gave the one she was poking a slight thwap on the head.

"Hmmm......Jewel Castle....... I like it; so straightforward and appealing. Hougawhatsit Castle it is." He walked up to one of the statues and looked it straight in the golden eyes. "Hmm....I dunno.....maybe they need a command word." He stepped away and cleared his throat. "Soldiers.....uhmmmm........secure the courtyard!"
The soldiers suddenly began turning in place and marching away in groups to stand in strategic places around the courtyard, looking like so many life-sized chess pieces that had been moved on a board. Nefir grinned and pointed to a pair of them that looked like they were trying to hide behind some emerald bushes. "You two! Bring me a royal robe! And a really big scepter!" He watched the two march off toward the castle, turned to Shimofuri and laughed. "Go on, try it; it's fun!"

Shimofuri smiled deviously as she watched the stone creatures follow each of Nefir's commands. "As a matter of fact, I think I will try this," she said as she plotted what to ask for. She then clapped her hands and said to nobody in particular, "Chop, chop. Thine queen is in need of a fruity beverage." Sure enough, one of the lesser decorated pieces scurried away, and quickly returned with a glass of lemonade, cooled with ice cubes. "I think I could get used to this place," she said over to Nefir as she took the drink from the boy, and started to sip from it.

Nefir laughed as the duo returned with his robe and scepter. He let them put the robe on him and took the scepter in his paw. "Cool. Lots of gemstones, just the way I like it." He eyeballed Shimofuri's lemonade and beckoned the statue that had brought it. "Make mine a raspberry lemonade. In a diamond glass." He grinned and winked at Shimofuri. "Can't be too extravagant when you're the rulers." X3

Shimofuri sipped her lemonade some more as she listened to Nefir, nodding in agreement. "Yes, nothing is too great for us! We are thine supreme law of the land! If we say it's right, it's right! If we call it unjust, then it's wrong!" She said as she placed her empty glass on a platter carried by one of the scurrying statues. She spun around, winking at him and asking, "What would thy king Nefir like to do in Hougyoku Castle right now?"

Nefir hummed thoughtfully. "Hey, I've got it! We have yet to take a look at our extraordinary golden palace! What say we saunter over to tihs wonder of the world and explore it?" The palace seemed to grow before their eyes and when Nefir turned to look, the castle seemed to beckon to them with bright quartz windows and antiqued doors that hinted at hidden places. The palace itself looked as though it could easily have fifty rooms. "What are we waiting for?" He rushed toward the castle's massive double doors, several statues shifting aside quickly to get out of the way, one bending over to pick up his king's discarded lemonade.
((Am I the only one enjoying how out of control this RP is getting? X3))

Shimofuri beamed as she ran to catch up to Nefir, raising her hand to keep her crown from falling from atop her head. And as she caught up inside the castle, the doors seemed to close by themselves, slow and creaking loudly. A small chill went up her spine as she looked back at the now dark entrance where only the edges of the golden door and the small spots from withing the windows showed light. As she turned back towards the inside of the castle, the hallway which had seemed dark was beginning to be illuminated by the rows of lights that mysteriously began turning on in pairs. "So where should we begin?" she asked as she imagined the extent to the number of rooms in this place.
