Blade smiled brightly. "Thank you!" She paused for a moment before glancing at Shandra. "Do you happen to know where the professor is?"

Sitting on the floor with her tongue stuck out the side of her mouth in concentration Kara was looking at her televisions screen intensly as she made Naruto win his fight with Neji in the chuunin exam. "Haha! Take that you swastika headed b***h." She proclaimed loudly at the game. "This one's so much better then the ones for gamecube." Putting down the control down after pausing the game she looked around her room, walls filled with posters of various artists and one giant Resident Evil Extinction poster that she had gotten from the movie theatre in town. "Hmmm kinda boring in here...mmhmm. Who can I pester?" The cat-girl stood up and started pacing as she pondered who her victim would be. "Lance maybe..naw he's already got so many people that could annoy him..though one more might not hurt..plus that musics getting on my nerves." She went up to the wall that seperated her room from Lances and pounded hard on it. "Oy! Loser! Turn that crap down or you're stereo's flying out a window!" She hollared loud enough to be heard over his music.

Shandra shrugged, "Somewhere in there...I guess," she laughed a little, "maybe if you think really, really hard he'll hear you..."

"What!?" shouted Lance back, continuing his hostile conversation with Laura though his door as a barrier, for her protection and possibly his. She seemed to think that she had the authority to tell him what he could or could not do. Obviously, this did not sit well with Lance, and for many reasons. He took a deep breath and was just about to say exactly what was on his mind, when the sound of another blaring stereo was added to the mix, making the overall noise volume close to deafening.
"What the heck is wrong with you people!?" he growled, his brow wrinkling in discomfort. The second batch of music was coming from a joining room, which, if he was not mistaken, belonged to the cat-girl, one of Mystique's newer recruits. And...judging from the banging that now started on the wall they shared, it was the feisty cat-girl. "******** it," he muttered to himself, while clapping a hand to his forehead. There was another barely noticable tremble throughout the area as a headache slowly crept in on him, which was definately a bad thing.
"Alright! Its off!" he shouted back, after practically punching the power button on his stereo. "Happy!?" Without waiting for an answer, the teen finished getting dressed before unlocking and then yanking open his door so he could make an exit, only to find that Laura and Morgan were still hovering in his doorway. "And are you two happy now?" he questioned, the sarcasm practically dripping off his voice.

Laura had just finished asking Morgan if he wanted to make plans when the door unlocked. She quickly shifted her weight to her feet and off of the door. Half a second later she was sidestepping so her back wouldn't be exposed and the door opened.
She settled with her side against the wall as he sarcastically asked if they were happy. She quirked an eyebrow at him in a most Wolverine-like fashion and answered. "With you? Not really. Won't be until you stop wrecking the house. Doesn't mean we can't get along though. We were trying to come up with something to do." She motioned with her head to indicate Morgan as she said 'we'. "Wanna come?"

Markus was just getting done soaking up enough heat in the bathroom to finish warming him up. "Oh that's much better." He pulled on a heavy sweater and his gloves. Hey it was ecessive but kept him warm and flexable instead of stiff. As he stepped out he was greeted by the blare of two stereo's. He shook his head as one of them was shut off. "Never a dull moment around here." He commented as he felt another small tremor pass through the building. That could only mean one thing. Lance was not happy about something. Markus liked to think he got along well enough with Lance. He left Lance alone, Lance stayed off his case...it was a good working relationship. He walked back towards his room to retreave his car keys. He wanted to head to the bookstore and maybe pick up some new books.

Her ears went back as she looked at the wall. Now she just felt bad for doing that. "s**t." Looking down at the floor she sighed and turned down her music then opened her door and poked her head out. "Listen man I'm...sorry...I suppose. I turned down my music too. Just stop with the tremors though man." Kara knew that he was pissed, she could see it on his face and knew that this lame a** excuse for an apology wouldn't make him all happy happy joy joy.

"Really?" she questioned, surprised that no one else had been curious about the abilities of the others. Her own smile faltered as Victoria's did, a nervous look flashing in her brown eyes as she hoped she hadn't offended the girl.
"Me, well," she said, holding her left hand out slightly, fingers outstretched. She then moved her right index finger an inch or two away from the open palm. She looked at her hands for a moment, the muscles clenching in her arms. A sound like a pop broke the silence as a blue forked spark leaped from her finger to her palm.
"It doesn't hurt me but others can feel it. If I'm really the cause of it, I guess I could be blamed for shorting out a few light bulbs and a blender," she finished sheepishly. "But I keep hoping maybe I'm a magnet for static electricity and it's simply coincidence that light bulbs don't last long around me." She shrugged as if this hope was something rather casual, her gaze moving to Rogue.

Blade laughed and scratched the back of her head. "That's true. I kinda forget that I'm not alone here." She whispered the last part to herself.

"It's fine," Shandra assured as she walked up the steps, "It takes a lot of getting used to."

"Eh?" frowned Lance, and it from the arch of his currently lowered eyebrow, he was surprised at the answer Laura had given him. Sure, she had been brisk and honest, much like the X-Man she takes after but an invitation to an outing? That completely threw him for a loop. "No thanks," he grunted simply and went to start down the hall, waving off Kara's apology in the process.

"Whoa," said Victoria softly, watching Becca's outstretched hands intently. She saw and heard the spark that jumped from one point on her hand to another and was seriously about to ask if it hurt, only to have the question answered for her.
"So," continued Victoria slowly, thinking over the best way to phrase something before she went ahead and asked it. Becca's comment concerning her own powers made her curious and she simply was no one to let a question go unanswered. "So," she said again, and looked up at Becca as she spoke. "You don't know what you do, exactly?"
Perhaps it was because Becca was a 'n00b' as far as X-Mansion's residency went, but it struck her as odd that she did not appear to know the full extent of her abilities. And it did not seem to be an issue with age either. Becca looked no more then a couple years younger than herself and she had it mostly figured out by that age. Not that there was anything wrong with being a late bloomer, of course.

Blade followed Shandra up the steps. She smiled sadly as she remembered her family but pushed it away. She had to do this. To protect them.

Becca shrugged slightly, a slight flush creeping across her cheeks.
"I shock things I guess," she said a moment later, as if contemplating her answer. "I've just, um, been hoping that maybe it wasn't true, ya know? That I could go home to my parents and things would go on as if nothing changed."
She paused a moment, fidgeting with her hands awkwardly.
"Though I don't suppose Mr- er, Professor Xavier would let me stay if I wasn't a- well, yeah.." she said, sentence trailing off.

Sara watched the spark leap from one of Becca's hands to the other with an 'ooooohhhh shiney expression' on her face. "Wow...that's neat." She said. She shocked things, best remember...no touchy Beccy...like Rogue. Sara had to be reminded because of her impulsive nature. The resulting contact would be...shocking...to say the least.
------------------------------------------------------------
Oh blessed silence. Liz sighed contentedly and burrowed deep under her blankets as the noise compatition finally ended. She didn't care who won and who lost...she just wanted to get some sleep. Snuggling up with her pillow she sighed and dozed off.

"Oh, don't say that," said Victoria, waving Becca's comment about her powers away like it was nothing. The way Victoria looked at the world, there was no room for self-doubt and she'd let anyone know otherwise in a heartbeat. "You'll find a way to use your power to your advantage, so don't worry about your parents too much. You'll do fine without them, I'm sure."
Shifting a bit awkwardly on her feet for an instant, Victoria re-crossed her arms over her middle as she glanced at the clock. She had just remembered the plans she had schemed together for Rouge, Sara and herself and thought perhaps they should make their exit soon. Not that they were on a time trial, but it was always best to strike early, especially when the Brotherhood were to be involved.
"Nah, don't think he would though I would not know for sure," thought Victoria aloud, and she, like Becca, had to wonder. "And ya know...I don't think I've ever really met the guy since I've been here. Isn't that weird?"
