Iris didn't know who this "Azure" was, but she was still determined to help Kitrio in whatever way she could. She and Koda should have stopped the girls, and let the poor thing rest. One was always wiser in hindsight. Frowning to herself, she did her best to make the young male comfortable until the medics arrived. She and Koda would have to explain this to the Mother. It wasn't going to be an enjoyable experience.
Soon enough, however, Kitrio would be gingerly loaded onto a stretcher and flown to the healer's caves, where Iris and several others would check in periodically to check on his condition. It would take a good while for his wing to recover and the bruises to heal, but in the mean time he would be well taken care of.

Koda arrived on foot though the back of the cave, chattering happily with the matriarch. She had parted from the rest of the group as soon as home was in sight, taking the fast route to her mother's cave rather then going though the great hall with the rest of her party. She knew mother would be fuming if she heard news of a new male second hand from a over exited teenager then directly from her own daughter.
They'd taken their time walking to the meeting place, convinced that the party would be unpacking safely. They barely payed any mind to the pair of young girls rushing past them.
"Mother," Koda beamed, spreading her wing to gesture across the large cavern, "this is Kitiro...." her eyes fell on the fiery mass of feathers that lay smoldering in the snow. "Iris? What happened?"

Kitrio went from keeping his eyes firmly shut to blinking at the sky above. Too bright... why is it too bright? He could do nothing to help as the others lifted him up and carried him, he'd never been carried so he couldn't say if it was a gentler way than any other but he knew it would be much easier than being draped across the other's shoulders. He was aware of shadow passing over his face a few times as they passed under this or that, it was too bright to tell if they were trees or rocks or other harpies passing overhead. Eventually shadow came though and did not leave. He slowly peeked an eye open. They were inside and though something illuminated the place, it was not nearly bright enough to hurt his eyes.
Where are we going? To the healers no doubt... he thought to himself. He was shocked into a slightly more firm state of mind though to hear Koda's voice addressing "Mother". They had brought him straight here! Now!? His clawed hands feebly tried to brush more snow from him, though some had melted and simply made him damp. This was no way to be presented to a... queen of sorts. At least none of the queen's in Azure's stories would have been brought a damp, ruffled visitor on a stretcher. He was not aware that he had in fact been taken to the healers and that Koda and the Matriarch had met them here. He thought they were in some kind of audience chamber.

"He collapsed," Iris explained, frowning. "Poor lad couldn't take the flight, but he didn't ask us to stop." Whyever would he do such a silly thing? They would have gladly stopped for him. "I've already sent Kani and Finch for the healers. They should be back any minute now." In the meantime, she was doing what she could to make the male comfortable, including keeping him sitting up and off the snow.
"Well," Kendra clucked her tongue dissapprovingly, frowning. "We will have to make sure he has the best of care then. The Mountain has too look after it's guests." She gave both her daughter and Iris a reprimanding look, then moved forward to examine the poor male.
"I am sorry Mother," Iris said again, "I didn't realize he was so worn. I should have paid better attention." She moved aside as best she could to let the matriarch take in the full effect of Kitrio's state.
"And next time you will," the reddish matriarch stated, moving down to examine the boy. "But now, it is nothing so serious that a visit to the healer's and a few days rest won't fix it." He had beautiful coloring, this one, and what appeared to be a healthy constitution, or would have, had he not just fallen from the sky. A fine addition to the colony. If they could improve upon his stamina, he may well beat out that spoiled Makani for attention.
