The report from her remote holocam recorded plenty of activity at the waiting spot, but no sign of her prey. That didnt mean anything necessarily, but if the man's actions when he found him were any indication, the little vrelt smelled a trap. He or that that little Jetii b***h probably had those sudden revelations the Force was so generous about dishing out.
There wasnt a trap. It would have been too obvious to have a trap set there, in addition would have landed Cene in trouble with the local police for weapon possession as she did not have their cooperation until recently.
But if the Di'kut smelled a trap, then that meant he knew he had been discovered. That meant he would run. Prey always ran when they thought they were discovered. And when they were running, that meant they were scared and predictable.
So after sending off another messenger drone to Mandalore about the target's current location, Rather than head strait to the rendezous where the prey might not be, she went for where she knew he would eventually turn up: The Institute.
She staked out the Obran Institute Offices for Force Studies, where she had seen him drop off the shield. A scholar's yearly income was not terribly impressive, and noticibly less impressive than that of the head of Institute Security. A few bribes were more than enough to allow her full access to the facilities with no questions asked.
It was just a matter of time before the fellow returned for the now-bugged shield, which made the perfect bait to lure him out.
Now it was a hunt.

The day wore on, as the two hutts were entertained well into the night of Nar Shaddaa. Before long, Asura felt the urge to get back to buisness. There was still some things to discuss with Az'zip before the grey hutt left, however.
Asura started.
Asura took a deep breath, licking his lips with a slimey tongue, as Az'zip looked on and nodded. The two had a mutual feeling for each other. Neither trusted each other, and yet, they dare not complain for the benefits which they gave each other.
Az'zip nearly choked on what he was ingesting, but gave a hearty laugh of approval. The two reachin an accord, they shook upon the deal, as the transportation was arranged for Asura to get back to his ship.

The Speeder took them to Ankara Keep, built from solid and sturdy blocks of blue stone. The Vehicle pulled inside the walls, the gate closing behind them.
"Welcome to my castle." Stryder said as he led Aurora about the grounds. "From this fortress I plan my battles against the Sith. For 40 years this has been my home when I am not off on campaign, the place where I hang my robe and rest my laurels. No Sith has ever managed to take this Castle, so sturdy it's defenses. Shield systems, turbo laser batteries, repeating blasters and flak cannons, and the iron will of its defenders all work as one to repel any assault."
Caladon smirked and muttered to the girl under his breath. "Lord Stryder is very apt at teaching young Jedi. Here you are witnessing a lesson about Excessive Pride..."

Aurora grabbed her gear and followed lord Stryder as he showed her about his Castile. She smirked and stifled a giggle at Masters Caladon’s comment.
“His did say that his training is considerably different than Master Gohgei’s.” She replied to Caladon.

Krhen was lying asleep in a small twin bed in the corner of a medium 1 room appartment on Coruscant. The room was about 20' by 18'. The room was afforded by the money that was earned by delivering packages through out the city durring Krhen's free time. There was a small table beside the bed with a brass lamp and a few small items on it. The floor was hard cedar wood. In the other corner of the room was a large window overlooking some other building. Through the window were many cruisers flying around. Near the wondow was a table fit for two with 1 chair half pulled out from beneath the table. There was also a cup of water on the table. Krhen then woke up. He had fallen asleep while thinking about his how his father would be prowd of him. Krhen sat up then crawled of the bed. He went over to cupboardnext to the bed. Krhen then dug out a box from the cupboard. The box read 'Cooked Cannok Jerky' . Krhen reached into the box and pulled a piece of the jerky. He then took a bite of it while walking over to the table and sitting down in the chair. He sat the box of connok jerky on the table. Then, Krhen picked up the cup of water and drank some of the water. He put the cup back on the table and then ate the rest of the jerky he'd pulled out of the box. Then a small thump came from the window. Krhen got up and went to the window. He noticed a faint beeping sound, then a small, spider-like thing attached to the window. It was blinking red. Uh oh! This is not looking good! Krhen then started running back to his bed. The beeping was getting faster and faster. When Krhen reached his bed, he hopped over it and ducked down behind it. Just as he ducked the beeping item was exploding! After the explosion, Krhen's room was all destroyed! He didn't know what to do now. Krhen then grabbed a small bag from the cupboard behind him. He then walked carefully over to the table. He picked up the box of jerky and put it in the bag. Krhen then attached the bag to his belt. He then jumped out of the room through the gaping hole from the explosion. Then Krhen jumped onto a small cruiser that was flying past the room as he jumped out. The driver was a dark skinned human, in his mid 20s. Krhen crawled over to the passenger seat. "Hello, can i borrow this?" Krhen exclaimed. The man replied, "Wha? No-". The man didn't even finish his sentence before Krhen pushed him overboard. "Now that he's out of the way.." Krhen said. Krhen then slid over to the driver's seat. He started driving the cruiser. Krhen flew the machine away from his room. He started heading towards a field of grass and many headstones. Krhen then opened the glovebox and in it, conveniently, was a bundle of cosmos flowers. He put the flowers in his bag. His right hand motioned for his lightsaber to make sure it hadn't fell in the previous comotion. (( I hope this boring time passes fast, PAUL NEEDS TO GET TO CORUSCANT!! ))

Why am I on Nar Shaddaa? Thought Maka as he sits in the corner table of a bar, feet planted firmly on the table top with his head leaning against the back of the booth-like seat. A sharp smile curls on one side of his face as he looks down at the dark blue liquid he has in his cup. "That's right.." He mutters aloud as he tops it off, grimacing slightly, not at the defunked taste..but the sheer strength of it before slamming it on the table.
His eyes scan the bar, seeing one of the few slimy Hutts being entertained by a few Twi'lek escorts...one of which was destined to be dinner for the fat lug. Taking in his surroundings, he waits as if waiting for someone. Eyes peeled, he looks for anyone shady. Well, shadier than himself.
One foot hits the floor underneath the table, and he touches the small box of contraband with his foot to make sure it's still there. His hand remains on his leg next to his sawed off carbine as a limping Bothan walks through the door and slides his way over to him. "Ah! Maka Rendar!" He says rather boisterously.
"Let's not shout my name, shall we?" Rendar says fiercly, grip tightening on the carbine. "Please, sit down..I ordered you a drink. And just so you know it's not poisoned.." Looking up at the barkeep, he points at Ya'thrae causing the barkeep to make the drink in front of him, also making one for the smuggler. "Thanks." He says picking up his own and downing it quickly.
"Business as always, I presume?" Ya'thrae smirks, nonchalantly dropping a bag of credits on the floor, kicking it towards Maka gently.
"Of course." Maka smiles back, pushing the box of 'spice' towards him while picking up the bag with his own foot. "Aren't you going to drink? Or do Bothans only drink water these days?"
"You know, we can't be too careful in these times. Oh! Look! I dropped my box.." Ya'thrae exclaims, picking it up and standing, politely drinking half of the mysterious blue alcohol before bowing his head in Maka's direction, walking out.
Rendar fingers through the bag of money to count it, finding a little extra. Bothans can always be trusted to count wrong. He was lucky it was in his favor this time.

((Past tense, Magnum.))
High on a ledge protruding from one of the skeletal spires of Nar Shaddaa, Pash stared through the enhanced scope of his carbine, watching with enhanced senses what was going on far away.
Two Hutts sat feasting and conversing, knowing naught that the crosshairs of a gun were locked on both.
Not that it mattered. Pash thought. They probably have Transparasteel windows.
He had asked around and found out rather painlessly that the castle was owned by Az'zip the Hutt: a notes slave lord and one of the top Hutt's in the city. The grey Hutt, however was unknown to him. Beards were rare on Hutts, being a genetic throwback. It would serve to aid him in narrowing down information on this particular Hutt. But the beard wasnt important now. It was their lips that Pash was focused on.
He struggled to make out the words being exchanged, relying on his knowledge of Huttese and prior experience with the Race to translate the opening and closing of their food holes into words. What he caught thus far was that the furry rabbit thing that followed Beardy around was some kind of Sith, that they were interested in the Sith/Jedi border zones, that the cyborg that followed Beardy and the Rabbit was named something ending with 239 and that Beardy wanted to arrange some kind of race with a five million cred purse for the winner.
Totalling the information he had aquired from his observations he reached a theory: The Hutts were indeed supplying Force Sensitive Children as slaves to Sith Masters. It wasnt much to go on and contradicted prior data, but it was a decent lead to follow up. He would just have to keep his eyes and ears open. Hutts and Sith were both known to be liars and the Order taught him not to judge everything as it initially appeared, but by investgating this he might just uncover the Truth of the matter.
With the patience of a predator, the Shadow watched the Hutts converse through his scope. When Beardy finally left, Pash did as well. There would be little more that could be gained from sitting there. He needed to find out more about "Beardy" the Hutt and his associates, as well as get into that competition that was being spoken about.

"Its because Lord Stryder runs his training more like an academy than an apprenticeship." Caladon told her. "He swore to himself that he would never become a Jedi Master long ago. That means he would never personally train an apprentice. So any Jedi that comes calling to him has to go through not just one teacher but several."
"You will be taught the ways of the Force by several of my advisors and officers." Stryder said, cutting in. "The good Master here will teach you about the Force itself and help you with your technique in manipulating it, General Vaska Bastra will continue your combat training, Lord, Jarek Dulnas Lee will see to your flight training and Lord Dorog Xrandla will instruct you about the Sith so you understand why we fight them."

Maka stood and dropped a few of the extra credits onto the table as a token of appreciation. The Bothan should be laying in a gutter somewhere at that point. It didn't matter to Rendar, the box was full of useless powder.
Scum of the universe.. He thought to himself, he only realized the irony after thinking it. A smile cracked on his face once more before he left the bar, and begun striding down one of the main, crowded streets. The stench of Hutts was now gone and their disgusting feasting was a memory instead of a show. The smuggler stretched his neck to the point of cracking rather loudly. "Ahh.." He exclaimed, which caused a couple of passerby to stare bewildered.

"You know, for as much money you spend on buying force sensitive youth, I would think bribing the sith for your crimes against them would be a far better use than simply forcing them to run mazes for personal enjoyment, Asura," the small Kushiban said rather loudly as the trio entered the hovervehicle to take them back to the landing pad.
"It is inefficent to bribe the sith. Future projections indicate diminishing returns from such ventures. Testing provides the corporation with information that is far more valuable," Info 239 replied. "Disputing the results is futility. You should terminate any further inquiry into methods utilized; they are at 98% efficiency for information gathering."
"Silence that walking calculator, Asura, or I will," the Kushiban began.
Asura noted.
"Most of the sith are stupid, its evident. The only reason why you are not killed right on the spot for your antics is because they're too busy looking for ways to stay alive and progress upwards. If they knew of your dealings with the hutts and your attempts to overthrow the sith presence in this sector of space..."
Asura said, giving a hearty guffaw at his own pun. Quiet overtook the trio as the pad was reached.
On the ramp leading to the ship, the kushiban returned another question. "How do you manage to live in the web of lies you create?"
"This is madness."
, Asura said, laughing as the ship began its takeoff into the space of Nar Shaddaa.

Aurora listened to Master Caladon and Lord Stryder as they explained her up coming training regime. It did seem odd, but it made sense. She would be able to learn different techniques from each of them, and what one didn’t know she would learn from another. Her light blue eyes light up as she contemplated the possibilities that were open to her.
“An academy style of training would not be that hard to adjust to, besides change is good. It dose sound a little daunting to have so many teachers at once, but I believe I’m up for the challenge.” She smiled up at the two jedi.

"And your training will start very soon." Stryder said. "But for now-" The Lord was cut off by a sudden war whoop and a blast of lightning thundered through Caladon, throwing him to the ground.
Stryder spun and snapped his lightsaber up in an instant, casting his cloak aside as he looked for the attacker, a tattooed Ubese in dark armor standing scant meters away.
"I do not know how you got in here, but you will not leave undamaged!" He roared as he lept at his opponent. Stryder's Emerald blade and the blood red sith saber sstruck showers of sparks as they crossed, then the Sith threw Stryder back and slashed, cutting the Jedi down.
The Sith cackled darkly and then locked his gaze on Aurora. "Prepare to die, youngling." The Sith hissed. as he leveled his saber at the girl.

By now, Krhen the vehicle had arrived in the cemetary. The vehicle was parked in front of two large headstones. They one on the left read 'Here lies Yuna Kote.' ; And the right one 'Here lies the honorable Kratos Kote, great father, husband, and jedi knight.' . Krhen was kneeling down between both headstones. He got back on his feet..
Krhen then put his hand in his bag and drew out the flowers. He took a flower from the budle and placed it on his father's grave; then another one on his mother's grave. Krhen then put the left over flowers back into his bag. He then sat on his butt in front of his father's headstone, his legs out in front of him.
Krhen stood up. He walked back to the cruiser and hopped in into the driver's seat of the cruiser. Krhen started it up. He then flew it away from the cemetary. Krhen seemed to just be flying the vehicle..
Meanwhile, the man who was the owner of the cruiser Krhen 'borrowed' was hot on Krhen's trail. Surprizingly, the man didn't die from the high fall. Although the man was only getting around by an ametuer-made jetpack.. "I'll get you.. AND my vehicle!" .

He was leaving. Koren had enjoyed his break, but now it was time to re-involve himself with the Galactic events which he had been so lavishly ignoring. Two motives: he could either hunt this Sith thief or perform Manda'lors task, the latter of which he had no time limit.
Koren placed enough credits to pay for his room and stay for a month longer than he had stayed down onto the table. He nodded to the owners and wished them well, mentioning that when he returned he would need a good place to stay.
The walk through the town was not very notable, with the exception of a conciderably impressive weapons dealer. Koren picked himself up a nice pistol, with a pretty nice stopping power. Just the kind of thing he needed.
He finally reached the hangar and paid the attendee handsomely for taking good care of his ship. Plus it was clean and the guy did all minor tweaks and repairs he had asked for. That deserved a big tip.
I think it's time to hunt some scum. Who knows, maybe I'll even meet up with some friends along the way...
So with that, he hopped into his ship, and flipped the switches and turned the knobs that made it hum. Once all systems checks were go, he took off, shooting out of the atmosphere and towards Nar Shaddaa. The best place to get the kind of information he was looking for. Besides, when a Mandalorian who you owe a debt to shows up, you don't tell him no.

" Alright, I got what I need. " Saria said, having finished a few notes on her own datapad while returning the others to where she had gotten them. After everything was back in its proper place, she and her companion left the library, and were on their way back to Coruscant.
______________
" But Lady Siren, surely you don't need this much control over the planet's resources... " one of the few political figures in Siren's meeting room said. " Indeed, and several people will think you're simply taking away what little bit of a flourishing economy we have going now. "
" Gentlemen, just look at what I had turned the few areas under my control into in the short while I have been on planet. Yes, I got some luxrious things for myself and some credits on the side, but I would hardly consider it taking more than anyone else has. Just look around. Everyone here is happy. I'm not asking for you to turn over control just like that. I'm asking to allow me to help turn this planet into a paradise in itself. Then, I will ask for all of you, of your own will and trust in me, to elect me to be in charge of maintaining it. "
A little Force Persuasion filled the room to accompany her voice. After some debate amongst themselves, her guests unanimously agreed. Soon afterwards, the metting ended and everyone but Siren left, the Sith staring out the window. One of the Sith acolytes that was part of her entourage entered the room. " How did it go, Lady Siren? " " All of Thule will soon be mine. I trust your stay here is more pleasant than the camp I originally had you and the others put up when we first arrived here? " " Indeed. I can't wait to see how good it'll be when you become this world's ruler. " Siren was quiet for a moment, still gazing down at the city from the high-up room. " I suggest you get our little military organized. If I'm to have the entire planet I need to show I have the means to protect it so the people will safe in my hands. "
The acolyte nodded, saying " Right away, Lady Siren. " and left the room. Siren went to her office and looked at the latest update on progress. The military power she had under her control wasn't overly much, but it would be enough to hold the planet under martial law as long as no outside force attacked. With the entire planet however, she'd have the means to perform a miltaristic offensive. Then again, her goal was to win by grace and persuasion, not force. It wouldn't do any good to obliterate a world she wanted, only to have to rebuild it from the ground up once successful. For the moment however, Thule would suffice.
