oh...uh...I was thinking he could be one of the demons you mentioned...and she could be one of the soreceress'...I was thinking they could have been lovers and then she saw him kill someone and run off and he was trying to find her...then since she would be missed since she's a librarian... confused it's the best I could think of sorry...
