NolaIvory The Great Lion NolaIvory You should see my novel...47 pages and not even half done! A 100 page novel... is there even such a thing? Maybe a wordy novella, 47 pages is chapters 1-4 in my book, 48 to 267 are chapters 5-26. I think maybe a guild dictionary is in order. *shrug* Yeah, I know it's a novella...everyone on NaNo does... But the real reason I got on was to tell everyone why I instantly started crying as I opened my mail today... I GOT ACCEPTED INTO MY NUMBER ONE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm SO excited. And it didn't help that (I thought...) everything was falling apart with my boyfriend and I wanted to just throw in the towel...but that's another story. I just want...I don't know. Now I'm neutral. I don't care about...anything, really. I just have to get scholarships and apply to try to get into the Journalism program...but other than that...I'M DONE!!! Gods it feels so good. I'm just...so...relaxed. Oh, Leav, did you check out my nomination "essay" before they deleted it? Good job Nola, and LD, I noticed both of you got accepted to the schools you want, I just took the easy route and i'm going to the local community college to do my generals, then transferring up to another college to finish out. Are you guys seniors this year? God, my senior year sucked, first i missed the first and part of the second week of school cause I had jaw surgery the first day of school. Secondly everything seemed to fall apart after that, I had one teacher that rarely showed up due to medical problems that year so we had subs for the whole year. Finally, the day of graduation practice the d*** people wouldn't just do it right so that we could get out of there, i think we practiced standing up and sitting down for about an hour with our caps and gowns on, let alone after I got home I went up to the doctors and found out that I had a fever of 102, and felt like crap. The day of graduation I only felt a little better so I didn't party out too much. I was surprised I didn't pass out during practice. any way, how is everyone?

LoL, SD...you're like..."My senior year sucked because of this this and this, but how is everyone else?"
Love it.
Yeah, I was planning on telling my Journalism teacher about my "essay" for you...but whatever. You know I forget these things.
It's like the rest of it doesn't matter now. I just gotta fill out the FAFSA (if that's the right letter order) and see which school (because I'm hoping to get into IU, too) will give me more money. We do have to wait for the FAFSA for that, right? Because I really want to go to BSU, but if IU's going to send me more money...I'll threaten BSU that I'll leave if they don't match them or do better, you know? Yeah, Leav, I think we talked about that before.

No I just thought it was funny how fast you changed the subject. I'm sorry if you got a different idea. We're missing voice inflection here on the internet and I sometimes forget it. Anyways, I was just joking.

So yeah, life has got pretty boring, at least my book is coming along splendidly! Everyone should read it! blaugh
I truly dislike having class at 6pm, I really, really do, mainly because I'm hardly a morning person, and secondarily I don't ever get home till around after 10pm, leaving me with not but a pair of hours to do anything with, if I'm lucky.
I just want to throw out some mad kudos to the Dev team at Ubisoft for creating Assassin's Creed. It truly is an amazing game, though pleasantly repetitive, there's nothing more exciting in that game then leaping from a tower or similar high place and driving a wrist spike into the neck/chest/face/back of face/stomach region of an unwitting archer/soldier/scholar/irrelevant civilian/page/menial/thug/Templar/Objective Target.
Having almost finished said amazingness, my objective now is to collect the seemingly endless hundreds of banners/flags that decorate the ever secretive confines of each city and its three districts. As well as find and murder the remaining 47 Templars that hide hither and thither. I recommend this game highly, even to pacifists of digital violence, its that good.
Allah Akbar!

Lion...my boyfriend just got done with that game...he's moved on to Mass Effect, now.
But if you want to tell me Mass Effect is crappy, please don't. I don't know half of what he does in video games, and he seems to like Mass Effect. Take it up with him (CaptainWeed096...)
Anyways, I would like to get into Assassin's Creed. It looks good. The only problem is that I don't have a 360...he does. Oh well.
Anyways, not much happened today besides bowling. And, oh yeah, I got my a** beat by my gym teacher. I've never done such ab work in my life!
And I went down to the counselor's office today to tell my counselor I got accepted. But she was in a meeting, so I told the secratary (leave me alone, I can't spell!) and she's a pretty old lady...but what did she say when I told her that I got accepted to my number one school? She said "Sweet."
She said "Sweet."
COME ON PEOPLE, SHE SAID "SWEET!!!"
Gods...*shakes head* eek surprised eek rolleyes 3nodding

Sorry Ivory, I never bad mouth a video, let alone one I haven't even played, or even heard of for that matter. I take it upon myself to understand that Dev teams are not always allowed or have the necessary time limits to make a game truly exceptional, so I always maintain to compliment a game and not bash it. Books are a different story, movies too as I don't necessarily appreciates movies and books like I do video games.
Congratulations on your acceptance, try not to hold it against the secretary (<- proper spelling), their job isn't to care but merely go with the flow of the job. My mum was a secretary, but she always got really involved with students, so I guess its up to the person whether or not they care.
On another note, classes are over and I get to read my book again! Not the one I'm writing but another book in the Horus Heresy Series, actually its the first, I've been sort of reading them backwards but over all order doesn't matter much with these books. As a matter of fact, its rather interesting reading them backward, I shall have to try that with a different series to see if its just as amusing!
Hurray for better moods!

Gods I'm not in a better mood anymore. Two minutes ago I was five seconds from balling.
But it comes from being a girl.
And it's good that you don't bash video games. And thanks for the proper spelling...
Leav, if you haven't already, read the...um...the "Witch Behavior" thingy if you wanna know. I'm going to go to bed soon, so I won't be able to be reached about it...so don't even bother.
Gods... cry
