Yeah, I'm not interested in this style of fashion at all. I actually think it looks rather scary.

eion1980 Yeah, I'm not interested in this style of fashion at all. I actually think it looks rather scary. i agree i too find it a bit frightening and intimidating. but then one must look at it from the ither side.. They probabley see us Western lolita's as odd just as us california girls see them as equally strange, granted they take it a step further then most of the "valley girls" here do.

I actually like it a lot when it looks a bit more "natural," with more reserved makeup. Not crazy panda faces and static electricity hair. good gangurobad ganguro

Subsets of ganguro, like ama-loli and gosu-loli to lolita, if I'm right.

oh, that's how it is?
Sorry, I don't know much about it. I always assumed that ganguro was the overall name, since I hear it used much more ofter than "kogal." Isn't kogal more like just Ayumi Hamasaki, though?

I think Ayumi started it though.

I think the Ganguro look is kind of creepy, I don't like their use of make up or what they wear.
I'm sure some girls would look nice Ganguro but it's really just Japanese girls trying too look American.

The "A" says.. I personally think it's the worst fashion ever. Dx And for all the girls that use tanning beds.. I'm sorry, but I will laugh when your skin starts to look and feel like an old beaten leather wallet.
The "A" has spoken.

Ganguro is my least favourite fashion. Seriously.
It just seems so tacky. And clownish.

I still give those girls a lot of credit for trying to go against the norm and looking and dressing the way they want to.

I don't wanna insult anyone, but Ganguro is sorta................cute. Except the ugly tans! xp xd I'd be a Ganguro if 1) I knew how 2 ParaPara 2) They weren't so snooty and "preppy"-ish 3) I didn't have to get an ugly tan and wear ugly makeup I guess it's coz they seem to have alot of fun *even when they're simply going out to get stickers!* 4laugh
