Lum smiled with a nod before she finished washing Kirara's arm and dried it off with another dry towel. "Well it's really nice that you show and have so much respect for women. I'm sure a lot of our female traveling companions have not had the best relationship with the opposite gender until coming to Quasar. But in any case, the world would definitely benefit more if there were more modest men like you out to spread these sort of ideals." She replied with a smile before she moved upward, to clean Kirara's face of any blood and dirt that it might have come into contact with.

Ed smiled modestly and rabbed the back of his neck with a small blush. "Aww, I'm not that modest. Any one back home could tell you I'm pretty full of myself. I'm just smart enoug to know that if a woman can bring life into this world, she can just as easily take it out if prompted." Again, he was lightly reffering to Winry and the countless wrenches to the faces he'd gotten and the times she'd chased him around with chain saw and the such.

((Haha, especially all of the pg-13 'scream fests' that's been coming out lately make me wanna cringe. What happened to my old, classic slashers?! scream lol sweatdrop ))
Lum looked over at Ed and chuckled gently. "Well then, think of it this way Edward. A woman's duty is to give life into nature. A man's duty is to protect that life and the woman who produces it. Well, that's the custom of my people. I don't know exactly what the customs for it are on Earth or on this planet per say. But I think it would be a good duty of yours to protect Kirara, since she has always done a lot to make everyone happy." She told him softly before she finished cleaning off her face, taking her long black hair and braiding it with a light giggle. "I'm sure Kirara would greatly appreciate your presence more so than another..."
((Oh! And we're just on the ship, being attacked by dragons after Deidara committed suicide to save everyone from the demon attackers, by blowing himself and them up. That's the super, SUPER short version at least. lol XD))

((We're in battle. The demon army was a bit too much, so every one went on the ship while Deidara stayed behind and blew himself up, therefore defeating the rest of the demon army. Everyone's on the ship now, but there are dragons comming at the group. And Edward's in the infirmary with Lum and Kirara. Everyone (mostly) is on the deck and getting ready to fight dragons. 3nodding (Which are, according to Ruki, not blimps.) rofl ))
Edward nodded lightly, patting Kirara's hand lightly. "Yeah, I was planning on making sure she's alright until she wakes up." He then grinned up to Dr. Cox. "Guess that means we'll probably be stuck in the same room for a while, huh?"

Lum smirked at his before sighing lightly, taking the bloodied towels and the basin of water to the sink, so they could be rinsed out and replaced with fresher linens. "Well, Edward, will it just be until she wakes up, or thereafter?" She asked him curiously and with a smile.

((Thanks. I was going to jump in two days agoish but the glitch had me scared and annoyed to post somehting. xD)) Revy loaded her guns, getting ready for the demons to attack. She wasn't going to let someone who had sacrificed themself for them die in vain. "If those things think they'll kill someone else, they're wrong." she growled as she prepared herself.
