Lol I love these ^^
You know your a band nerd when you can make the smartest kids in class feel stupid just because they're not in band and can't read your solo and ensemble music. And they say they're nerds?!! xd

I have THREE. Two of them are not really concerning band...
1 ) You know you're a band geek when you start singing a song and then there's a snare solo and you break into last year's marching music because that's what it reminds you of. (That happened to me at least eight times... I was singing the "brush your teeth" song, and then started playing the high school's theme song that we played at the beginning of the school year.)
2 ) You know you're a chorus geek when you can sing the first and second soprano, alto, AND tenor parts for all of your chorus songs. (I actually did that once. Not at the same time, though. oO;;; Of course...)
3 ) You know you're a gaurd nerd when you have at least three bruises in very awkward places because you did something stupid with your saber. (I'm only a beginner at colour gaurd, and I have a bruise on my head, the inside of my elbow, and my thumb because I attempted to toss my saber even though I don't know how quite yet. >< How excruciatingly dumb of me.)

lol. i have a lot...
-You walk in step with any music you hear.
-It bothers you when the person walking next to you isn't in step.
-You know that "one more time" actually means "four or five more times".
-You've never had to pay to get into a football/basketball game.
-You've never sat in your class section at a pep rally because you're
always playing.
-You start humming a showtune from three years ago and your friends
join in with their respective parts.
-You have a mnemonic for the different modes... "I Don't Punch Like Muhammad A-Li" (Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian).
-You automatically go to attention when you hear a whistle...including the ref's.
ahh...i have sooo much more, but these were the funniest to me xd

You know you're a band geek when you come up with a life story for all your instruments and made a game for all the instruments and somehow came up with a saxspoon....

Well here's a few, some may be repeats. Sorry guys I didn't have time to read them all like I wanted to crying
You know you're a band geek when:
You're in all the band classes your school offers just because. (2 jazz and 2 regular)
You carry a tuner in your pocket. (I've done it >>; )
You Try to figure out the time signature of songs on the radio and then attempt to conduct them.
All of your closest friends are in band.
All of the stories you have to share with people end up relating to band.
You've always wanted to be a drum major.
It bothers you when people aren't instep with you in the hall.
When people talk about the football game, you automatically assume they watched the half time show and have something to say about it.
You know why Marching Band can count as gym credits.
The last one I would like to think of,
You know your a band geek when you come from a very small section but get accepted into all the other sections and rename your instrument to fit that fact. (I am a Mellophone player, the biggest section I've had is 4 my freshmen year. By the time I got to Senior year, I was MellotrumpefluclarinaPERCUSSIONsaxobone...oh yes...lovely isn't it? xD)

mysteri_owl22 you know ur a band geek when any random song comes on and you can sing or hum ur part but you have no idea what the words are...... I do that all the time! Especially with our pep tunes, like "Louie Louie" and "Smoke on the Water". I have no idea what those lyrics are.

You know you're a band geek when you get a piccilo for Christmas and carry it around in your purse all day just so you can poke it every time you switch classes. (XD guilty)
Also
You know you're a band geek when you go to other band performances just to see them play and actuelly pretend you're playing along with them.
