((xD I finally got some art that looks like Anekio as a ninja. Sketchfiend`s work. :D )) Anekio lifted a brow. "Bad memories? Takeshi said you were treated like a princess." She returned the smile and looked up at her friend. "If you can't bring anyone else in I don't really think you'll have much of a choice than having either Yuhi or I escort you everywhere. Then again, that wouldn't seem as odd since we're your friends." She laughed quietly at the other comment, "Maybe, but if I went with you I'd probably feel a little awkward with this headband from Konoha anyway."

"I was hitting on you? You're the one that was sitting on me and rubbing against me! I wasn't flirting!" Kei said as he headed over to where the movies where. "I don't care, pick what you want."
"Yeah, I was. I wasn't allowed anywhere by myself or able to do what I wanted. My...my father was really protective of me. He barely tolerated Takeshi being around me all the time, though we gave him good reason to worry. Takeshi's the one that got everyone calling me Koneko-hime and even climbed up to my window one to 'kidnap' me for the day." Tori gave a bit of a shrug. "There are some things that I miss, like all the waterfalls and lakes, but there's more that I'm glad to be away from. If you did go with me, I could show you all of my old hangouts. I think you'd like it, if you can stand all the water, that is."

((Dobedo.. i'll do Anekio when I have some free time to do her... and, when i'm on the computer with the right program x3 ))
Ran woke up a few hours after she'd fallen asleep. She felt a bit better, but alone. A guard was still by her door, but the shift had changed, so it was someone else. Not that it mattered, really. They were all going to be cautious around her, reguardless.
Blue orbs flitted over to the window. Ran noted that the sun was starting to set... it was a bit past noon. Her stomach grumbled slightlyl, but she didn't know if she really wanted to eat anything. The last hospitol food she had wasn't so bad, but it left a bad aftertaste in her mouth.
Ran's eyes shifted back to the guard, who had just noticed she was awake. He gave her a small look-over, before returning his eyes to the hallway before him. Just another day feeling as locked up as a bird in a cage... Guess that's where I belong... she thought almost bitterly, recalling some of the families that had taken care of her while she grew up in Kirigakure. She'd been raised by the village, but always was the Mizukage's pet.
Suddenly, she felt trapped. She wanted to go somewhere, get out of there, as the air was too settled. She was used to a breeze, or at least the sound of some animal, or water, moving nearby. Not even the guard moved. Ran's eyes looked back to the window.
"Umm... Excuse me..." the Kaguya murmered, catching the guard's attention.
Said guard looked to her and gave her a questioning look. "What?"
"Can you open the window, again...? It's a bit stuffy in here..." Ran mumbled.
The guard shook his head a bit and looked back to the hallway. "The nurse says we're not supposed to open the window, lest your coughing get worse."
Ran almost laughed, but settled with a small 'hmph'. The guard looked at her funny, but she shrugged it off. "I assure you that a little wind from outside won't start up my coughing. Trust me- i've had it all my life."
The guard looked to her again, then to the hallway, and then moved across the room to the window, opening a bit. "Whatever..." He mumbled, going back to his spot by the door.
"Thank you!" Ran replied, trying to appear really thankful.

Tori gave a nod. "He's really...confusing, as I'm sure you've noticed. He can joke around if he wants, but most the time he'd rather kill someone. If Konoha and Mist were on good terms, I wouldn't have to worry so much about this." she gave a sigh and shook her head. "Anyway, shall we talk about something less depressing?"

Anekio laughed slightly. "It's probably just how he was raised though, and it would be nice if they were, but some places never settle their problems." She sighed as well, but gave a small smile. "Hm...Anything in mind?"

She thought for a moment, then smiled. "Have you decided if you're going to go on anymore dates with Yuhi yet? I don't think this one should count seems I was with you." Tori looked over to where Yuhi still stood, skipping rocks across the water.

Anekio laughed slightly and gave a small shrug. "Hm, I don't know. Today was fun though, besides the whole...you know." She smiled slightly, glancing over at Yuhi. "Are you sure he's not bisexual or something?"

((xD It is pretty hard to answer.)) "Yeah, unless he picks up gay guys." Anekio grinned, but gave a small shrugg at the other comment. "I know, I can tell he cares, but I'm not sure if I could give him what he's trying to give me." She sighed, watching a rock skip quickly.

"How they happen?" Anekio repeated the last part, looking back a Tori. "Are you sure they aren't born that way or it runs in the family?" From what she said, it made the dark-haired woman feel like she was a 'screwed-up person,' but then again she wouldn't really be surprised if she was.

"I don't think people are born being depressed and feeling alone. As for that type of thing running in the family, it probably can." Toris voice dropped some. "Takeshi always told me that I'm a lot like my father. I never knew my mother so I couldn't tell you if I get any of my traits from her. I think you also just like being moody 'cause you like scaring people."
