>THEN LET'S GO!< The Tailow gavee a shrill cry before launch herself bodily at Takeshi. There was so much fury in her tiny body... so much to fuel a proper Rage attack! Would this lizard be able to stand up to her anger?

((Eh, one way or another, it'll be over by next month.)) (17-9)+(9-11) = 6 / 2 = 3 DMG! Fluke is at 13 HP!
>Yowch!< The Batloy bounced off the Dwebble's body and reeled back, somewhat disoriented. Her attack had landed, but what about her bod? Her bodacious bod! She gave herself an experimental twirl, making she she was okay. >Man, you're not that light on your feet, huh?< she remarked to Fluke. >You'd make a terrible dance partner... let's see if you're any better at fighting.< So confident she was that she didn't defend... merely, she stood back, weaving in place.
Alice's eyes light up as she saw the Clefairy, and she felt a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. She wasn't sure if it was something Lankford had programmed in her, or if her AI was sophisticated enough to fully develop tastes, but she'd always had a fondness for cute Fairy types. Despite her steely origins, there was something fascinating about the newly-uncovered type. She made to take a step forward, but felt Vorpal's grip on her arm tighten as the Honedge pulled back. "Vorpal, what's wro--?
- SLAAASH -
And like that, her dreams and the dreams of the Clefairy come to a brutal end. Alice stood, frozen in place as she stared at the monster before her. For all her youth and inexperience, she did recognize the creature before her-- Deoxys. Through her shock and disgust, she could dimly recall the lab researchers and technicians discussing the implications of the historical Deoxys assault on LaRousse City. Theories stated there was the potential for more than one of this virus and it's different forms... indeed, this was a form that had gone unseen in the City. She knew, she just knew Lankford and the other works at he lab would just love to devote their time to analyzing this creature.
But... Alice stared at the carnage before her. The numb horror faded away, leaving behind an emotion she was unused to: anger. Vorpal might have killed Pokemon before, but he didn't cackle and gloat over the carnage. This Pokemon... it didn't matter that it was a legendary. She wanted to fight. Beside her, she felt Vorpal shift his position to a defensive stance in front of her. A light grin pulled back across her face-- perhaps her thinking was finally in line with her Pokemon's. But first things first. Carefully, she pulled out her Snap Shot camera, and focused the lens on the Deoxys. "Smile, you son of a--"
The race had been great! The Litleo and Electrike were neck and neck for most of the race until the end. Raiden ended up pulling ahead and finishing the race with a win! ">Wow, you are fast! That was lots of fun!<" the Litleo said smiling. He reached behind the rock and pulled forth a familiar blue berry. ">Here's for racing with me! Let's do it again sometime!<" the pokemon exclaimed before racing away off into the distance.
Proceeding deeper into the area, Tao would next encounter a Fletchling. Hopping about, nervously pecking at the ground, it was pretty clear the Pokemon was merely trying to find food and not get eaten in the process.

As Jin-Hua's luck would have it however, she would get precisely the opposite of what she had been wishing for. A chorus of voices would erupt into the air; a sweet yet sorrowful sound that could be described as nothing but a swan song. Yet rather than the grim sight one would expect to accompany such a thing, Jin-Hua would be met with something far more bizarre. Assembled on a large hunk of stone was an array of poorly maintained school desks, all but one of them with a Pumpkaboo perched atop, with seven more standing at the front.
Curiously there was one empty seat, but the reason why wouldn't evade the girl for long as a large purple hand clasped her shoulder as a certain Gourgeist cozied up alongside her. ">Long is your quest, so please be our guest! Join this game for fortune and fame, a promise you it won't be the same!<" Peek-a-boo sang. Well at least he didn't appear to be trying to steal her soul this time. What was the harm in playing a little game?
The same instyant the camera's flash faded, the Deoxys would appear in a position several feet from where it had been standing, though his posture remained casual. ">HA! Did you really think such a paltry excuse for an attack would work on me!?<" The Pokemon called out. Evidently, not being of this world, he didn't recognize a camera once he saw one. He had however registered the flash.
">Allow me to grace you with the sight of true power!<" Coiling his arms together, the Deoxys's limbs began to spark and crackle with electricity. When the limbs began to bulge from within their coil, the Pokemon would allow them to unravel and snap back, unleashing a pent up Charge Beam! ">Now don't you feel lucky?<
Jin-Hua looked at all the Pokemon and flinched when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Why were the Pokemon gathered like this? Well there wasn't harm in participating right? It was like going to school? She would turn and nod at the Gourgeist and then look to see which desk (or was it that empty chair) to go to?
The match was a heated one, though that could easily be the volcanic air. Either way, Alex found himself focused on the race. >"Phew, you were good too."< Raiden gratefully took the berry, thanking the Litleo. >"Sure thing, and hope you find your sister."< He walked over to Alex with the berry as Alex waved good bye to the Litleo. "You hold onto it, it's your prize." He smiled as he pet the staticky fur of his pokemon. He held up his pokeball, asking if he wanted some rest, only for the pokemon to shake his head no. He wanted to be outside a bit longer. "Alright then, let's continue on."
Alistair halted in front of imposing slasher bug. It didn't seem like it wanted to attack them, but... well, better to err on the side of caution. There was no point in intentionally agitating a opponent who wasn't aggressive. Especially if he had a translator with him. "Lucianna, could you...?"
>Gotcha.< Admittedly, the Emolga was already pretty curious about the Scyther and his odd aura. Basically everything they'd run into on the island was interesting in fighting, one way or another. There hadn't been any talk of peace... except now. With a light jump, she landed in front of the flying bug. >Understandable,< she remarked quietly, nodding her head. >We'd prefer to pass through this forest peacefully, but we seem to keep running into antagonistic types... probably because we aren't from this forest. For the most part, it doesn't seem like Pokemon here are terribly welcoming to new faces... yourself excluded.<

There would be a faint feeling of Alex being watched as he continued along the area with Raiden. A small Magby would spot them, get nervous and vanish behind some giant rocks. It didn't look like there would be any interruptions from this Pokemon. It might be they didn't even notice as they continued walking~

It had taken some time, but they had traveled quite a distance. It wasn't a perfect trip, but they'd be stronger as a result. It was at this point they'd need to plan what to do next. "Take a picture of an evolution stone...You'll know it when you see it..."
The Scyther seemed to consider the Emolga's words. The bladed bug Pokemon studied Lucy for a minute before turning to Alistair and studying him intently. It would seem the pokemon was trying to come to a decision of sorts. There were plenty of Pokemon he could attempt to enforce peace upon here on the island... However would it be better to travel the world with this boy? After the silence stretched for a few minutes, it was obvious the Scyther had made his choice. ">I can assist you in your journey.<" the bug offered.
Further in and further down. Only an idiot would think going into a deep, dark cave that seems to crackle with heat and energy was a good idea. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to have much of a choice anymore. The only light comes from the strange glowing rocks that spark when you get too close to them. And the temperature feels like it’s rising. Be care, stick to the sides, and keep your head up.
The attack would hit, but thankfully, his shell was hard enough to take the hit without too much difficult. The Pokemon would actually seem to be proud of himself until the Baltoy spoke, and then he would give the Pokemon a harsh look. The Dwebble would snort before he declare.
(I am actually a great dancer, it's not my fault you only know one style of dance)
He would do a quick shuffle of his feet and clack his claws together loudly as he winks at her.
(Let me show you one of my moves)
He would tell her as his claws took on a dark black hue to them and Hiro would see it even as he proclaims loudly.
"Use Night Slash."
The bug Pokemon would streak forward with his claws out ...as he passes by the Baltoy in a single movement. His claws moving to slash as he passes back in a move that is so quick that it can be called a charge, but somehow he passes it off as a single dance step forward.
