Proceeding passed the Baltoy, the young trainer would next encounter a snoozing Abra; one which promptly vanished as it let out a snore. Apparently it was teleporting in it's sleep.
Swinging it's short tail briefly, the Sandile would glare at the Mudkip for a second with it's one revealed eye. Tilting it's head and opening it's jaw, it would then reveal the other, adjusting the hat on it's head. Now it was time to get serious! The Pokemon's steely gaze had turned to one with clear fire ">Feel the power of my blazing spirit! KRAKATOWA!<" He cried as he shot forward, jaw snapping once sharply before his mouth erupted in flames. Once more he was relying on Fire Fang, and Water-type or not if this hit it'd hurt!

Venturing further, Alice would find herself reaching the end of her journey, and more specifically the end of the path. The rocks would stop at one massive slab of meteorite, the unearthly stone forming a platform big enough to hold more than a few Pokemon.
Suddenly movement would come from the shadows across from the girl. A creature moved with an unearthly speed and grace as it leaped into the air, the pale light of the moon revealing it to be....a Clefairy. With a joyous cry it waved to greet both child and Honedge; but this action was cut short as it's blood and entrails splattered across the ground as a much larger being crushed it like a mere insect. ">HA HA! YOU THOUGHT IT WAS A CUTE CLEFAIRY, BUT IT WAS ME, DEO!<" The Pokemon cackled as it crossed it's thin, cord like arms over it's chest.
Standing before these challengers with an imperious gaze and posture, it was clear this Pokemon was not only the ruler of this territory, but it's tyrant.
">Oh, so that's what you meant...<" Seret said as he managed to avoid the sandile's flaming jaws. ">Blazing spirit, huh?<" The water-type wanted to try it as well. The pokemon thought for a moment before preparing another stomp. The water-type smiled triumphantly and called out as it began to lash out with its attack move, ">SUNDA!<"

Apparently, there was a dance party on the middle path. From some ways ahead of him, Hiro would be able to see a Baltoy moseying slowly in his general direction. She bounced and spun, arms waving in the air like an odd windmill. When she landed in front of him, she "point" at him and the Dwebble. >Ayyyyyy,< she remarked with a wink to the bug-type. >You off to the dance party? I heard it's wicked... even got some humans breaking it down on the dance floor. Or maybe you're here to fight?< She'd tilt her head to the side. >I'm good with either-- dancing or fighting, aw yeah.< Another obstacle.

The Numel eyed Korbin uneasily, pondering. On one hand, she'd be perfectly happy for the rest of her life if she never got covered in that poison ever again. But one the other hand, law of the land said you had to fight to unconsciousness... or death. Admittedly, she was a somewhat lenient Pokemon, and it DID look like that Wooper was about to keel over. As gross as he was, she couldn't bring herself to commit too much violence. But if any of the other Pokemon were watching, the Numel would mark herself as a weak and easy target. There had to be some kind of acceptable medium...
Her eyes lit up with a surprising energy. And the human didn't seem like she spat anything too sticky. >Can't call it a draw, but I can change targets. Tell your human to get running.< With a slow lumber, the Numel pulled back, and began a focused run towards Kiani. She'd give the human a bit of a headstart, but one way or another, this Numel was going to try and Tackle something.
Alistair watched the Roselia. The creature's movements seemed... hesitant, somewhat. Graceful, certainly, but it didn't seem like its heart was in the battle. Perhaps it was distracted, or perhaps whatever it and Lucy had been arguing about unsettling the Roselia. Either way, he thought he saw an opening in her elegant form. "Lucianna! Air Slash!"
>Gotcha, boss.< This was a proper battle, a struggle of communication, and she needed to listen to her trainer... even if she wasn't sure she totally agreed with the decision. With a low humm, she'd swing her arms forward, spinning another blade of wind right at her opponent. With any luck, it'd pierce right through the attack!

The Dwebble would actually look at the Baltoy a little strangely as it talks about dancing. What pokemon without legs could dance? It was a good question in his mind as he would scutter in front.
(My trainer can't understand me or you, so I guess, if you aren't going to get out of the way ....we will battle. So, dance somewhere else, unless you want to get hurt.)
He would caution the Baltoy. The Dwebble would scamper in front of Hiro as he made his stance quite clear.
The Sudowoodo had easily avoided the attack. The tree Pokemon was a bit faster then people gave him credit for. Still simply relaxing, the Pokemon began to use Defense Curl.
[8-5]+[11-8]=6 x 2 = 12 DMG Roselia: 2 HP Capture Rate: 3+ The Roselia was thrown backward by the Air Slash. She hadn't been expecting the Emolga to attack! That in mind, she went on the defensive, twirling once more to avoid the next attack! It had worked the first time, it could work again!
Roselia [F] Level 2 Nature: Modest HP:2/14/PP:19/ATK:7/DEF:7/SPD:8/SP-ATK:9/SP-DEF:8/ Moves: Energy Ball, Cotton Spore EXP to gain from defeat: 49
The girl continued along her way, when she spotted the sleeping Abra before it teleported away. There were always interesting Pokemon around this area.. But how much time had actually passed so far?
It seemed to be building its defenses. Pansear still looked hurt, so Alex pulled out his potion, using it on him. After a glow, his strength seemed to return. Potion used. Pansear regained 10 hp.
Defense Curl Successful! +1 to Sudowoodo Defense! Now since you used a potion, it takes up your attack turn so it's now the Sudowoodo's attack turn again.
The Sudowoodo smiled. He began moving at a slow jog. The Pokemon wasn't going to charge but instead merely picked up his pace a little bit. The tree Pokemon was trying to get closer and then lowered his head in half-hearted Headbutt attack!
Lucianna couldn't help a grin. Even when her attacks weren't as focused as they needed to be, she still did a solid amount of damage. It was clear that her next attack would finish this battle... and possibly the Roselia. But something about the Roselia's comments earlier caused her to hesitate. Instead of summoning another blade of wind, Lucy offered the Roselia her hand. >I'm sorry about your cousin,< she restated gently. >But like I said... you don't have to be alone.<
The words died in Alistair's throat as he watched the little scene in front of him. He'd been about to order Lucy to finish the assault, but her body language seemed... different. Non-threatening and almost relaxed. A good trainer needed to be aware of their Pokemon's actoins, and read the cues. He weighed the idea carefully. On one hand, Roselia's typing was particularly optimal. On the other hand, she was a mid-stage evolution, and would only need a stone to reach her next form. And he rather liked grass-types, and this one would fill his need for a second Pokemon. Hoping his intuition and thoughts were enough, he cupped his hand around his Pokeball and tossed it at the Roselia.
