Cinkel sighed, "I'm not sure. I've never been to the mountains myself. I sure hope so. Climbing it is annoying enough, so I wouldn't want to bump into too many monsters." He stretched his arms in front of himself.

"Azriel, is there any chance that you can fly around the mountain and look for the trail?" Grimm asked.

Azriel looked around. At this point of the conversation, the group were just a little past the gates of Meltokio, outside the walls. "Er...not from out here...I'm still in plain sight from people, and most don't know that my wings really are functional. I'm just going to draw some unwanted attention." She sweatdropped.
"But I do recall there is a clear path up the mountain..." Sheena was remembering the point in their journey where she and the old group traversed up the mountain to retrieve the Rheairds. "Isn't there, Zelos? Raine? Either of you remember where it is?"

Rhone scratches his head with his free hand as he gazes upon the Fooji Mountains.
Uhhh guys? the trail is clearly visible....I mean it's right there!
He points to the base of the mountain, where there appears to be a dirt road ascending up one of the mountains.
Why....didn't I notice that?
It's a good thing that's there. My armor isn't made for climbing.

Cinkel laughed softly and mumbled to himself, "All getting me worked up." He then spoke up with a smile, "I think we should make Zelos climb up it anyway."

"Considering We ran up the side of the bloody thing without thinking of looking of a path. We reached the top in good time... at least I think we did." Schwarz stated to no one. Oro and Raine looked towards where Rhone was pointing.

((...I need to look at a friggin' map again. *facepalm*  )) "Oh, right...aheheh...there it is," said Sheena with nervous laughter, trying to save face. Azriel scratched her head. "Wait, really Rhone? You must have some keen eyesight. I can't notice it from this far without squinting...""I-It's not that far off, Azriel...maybe it's just about time you need spectacles," Sheena teased with a bit of a playful grin. "S-spectacles? B-but those would be a little bothersome to maintain, considering what I do..." Azriel replied with a bit of a dismayed expression. After several minutes' time, the party had reached the base of the Fooji Mountains, at the beginning of the path that spiraled up to the peak.

Once at the base, Rhone stops for a second and stares at the slightly steep incline they were about to travel.
Okay....can someone take one or two of these giant metal bars off of me? I can probably manage with 3, but 4 is a bit much. ^_^" These things are pretty heavy...

"Maybe I should take one." Schwarz suggested.
"I'd rather you didn't."
"Why not?"
"Do you remember the last time you had something that large, you busted a doorway and what you were carrying."
"Right, I forgot about that. There was also that time with the art gallery too, boy was that a good time!"
"Ugh.." Oro shivered at that memory. "If that was good I wonder what's a bad one."
"Err that be any time we were pummeled into oblivion." Schwarz looked up the side of the mountain. "Hey Oro mind if I climb up the side of this thing again?"
"Do you think I care?" Schwarz smiled at the answer and started to scramble up the the side of mountains.
Raine looked back at Oro "You sure he'll be fine?"
"He knows how to handle himself well enough... word of warning though, watch out for falling rocks."
"... ... Thanks."

After thinking for a moment, Rhone comes up with an idea.
Hey Cinkel...give the bars you're holding to Azriel. That way we can fly to the top of the mountain and build the frame while you guys make your way up. It'll go faster that way. ^_^

Rhone grins and looks up at the mountain.
The frame isn't part of the portal itself. it's just there to help the portal remain stable, so yeah I know how to put it together.

"Alright, let me see here..." Azriel took a bar from Cinkel, finding it not exactly light, but not too heavy either. She smiled confidently, continuing, "Yeah, I can handle this," as she took the other bar, gripping both in both hands horizontally. Looking over at Rhone with a playful grin, deciding to put a little fun into this, she asked, "Race to the top?" Flapping her wings, she already began to rise about a couple of feet off the ground.
