Kyoshi growled at her. "Leave it messy. It's how I feel inside anyways." He glowered at her. "You should have stayed in Area 6 were you belong." He crossed his arms. "Don't make me call people from over there to come get you." He threatened.

Dusk couldn't help it...She started laughing. It wasn't her normal laugh, but one of absolute bitterness. "Oh...come on, what? You can't handle a simple girl?" She stood up fully, looking at him.

"No more than you can handle me." He stood facing her. 'And your not a simple girl. Your a pain in the a** but more than that too.' His mind said. "Fine. Do whatever you want." He turned around slowly and walked back into the room slowly and went straight for the closet. It was his cocoon and he wanted solitude. It kept everything out and kept him in. He looked out the large window of the apartment at the city below. He was remembering it for the last time because he was going to shut himself up for a long time.

"Oh stop it!" She stormed up to him and almost back handed him, but Dusk enough care in her body to not start that fight. Yet. "What are you doing? Are you honestly hiding in the closet?!" In Dusk's mind, this was just...this was pathetic. On both parts.

Kyoshi glared at the door. "I'm not hiding in the closet!" He was getting mad. He just wanted to be in a solitary confinement. "Why the hell do you care what I do with myself? It's better than jumping off a cliff!!!" He was acting like a child now. He wanted to be left alone.

Her blood turned to ice. How dare he...she couldn't believe that Kyoshi actually brought that up. Slamming open the door, there was probably another crack in the wall. "What you're doing is just as bad as me walking off a cliff. You're acting like a child who didn't get his toy. If you don't like something, be a f*ckin man and fix it!" Oh yeah, Dusk was livid.

Kyoshi got up, the blanket falling off his shoulders. He grabbed her by her upper arms and slammed her against the wall. "FIX WHAT?!?!? WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT ME TO FIX?!?!? YOU WANT ME TO FIX UP EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAD A HAND IN?!?!? ARE YOU F*CKING INSANE?!?!? I KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG!!! I KNOW THAT I WASN'T THERE WHEN YOU REALLY NEEDED ME!!! I KNOW THAT I HURT YOU BUT YOU HURT ME TOO!!! YOU HURT ME MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!! I CAN'T FIX IT BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO FIX WHEN WE BOTH HURT EACH OTHER AND WE CAN'T FACE IT OR BE HONEST ABOUT IT!! GOD DO YOU EVEN REALLY CARE?!?!? NO BECAUSE ALL YOU HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT IT YOU!!! WELL JUST TO LET YOU KNOW DUSK I HAVE FEELING TOO. YES I TURNED MY BACK ON YOU IN AREA 20, YES I DIDN'T ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT? I WENT AFTER YOU BECAUSE I HAD SOME DAMN HOPE OF GETTING YOU BACK!! BUT THEN I REALIZED THAT I WAS BEING SELFISH IN THAT! SO I BACKED OFF. BUT NO!"
He let her go and had his hands curled into fists to help control his temper but it wasn't helping. Another wave of tears came but he ignored them.
"ALL I EVER GOT WAS HELL FROM YOUR FRIENDS!! YOU ALL ARE THE MOST NARROWED-MINDED GROUP I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! IDIOT THIS!! IDIOT THAT!! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT ME TO BE?!?! GOD DAMN PERFECT?!!? WELL I'M NOT! IT'S EITHER YOU TAKE ME AS I AM OE YOU DON'T TAKE ME AT ALL!"
He was seething and letting it all come out at once, his eyes were that errly colored white from before. His blood was boiling.
"I DIDN'T LIE WHEN I SAID I LOVED YOU! YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY I LOVE YOU! IT'S BECAUSE YOU TAKE LIFE AS IT IS! YOU DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE SAY! AND...AND......" He growled and punched a whole in the wall. He stared at the whole, willing it to suck him in.
"And I won't stop loving you. Even if your around me or not. Even if you find someone else. It will never stop." He whispered.

Dusk didn't know what to say. She had been slammed against the wall and screamed at, but what was annoying was that she knew that he was right. But, not about her friends. "They weren't narrow minded...they're just...over-protective of me..." She slid to the ground, looking at Kyoshi's feet, not wanting to look him in the eye. "I didn't know that they were like that with you... I'm sorry..." Her voice was so quiet compared to the shouting that was in the room just seconds before.
"I..." She didn't know where to start. Dusk had known that she would be hurting Kyoshi, but what she didn't know was that it would hurt him to this extent. "I...I want to say I'm sorry...but I don't think that that's what you want to hear..." For the first time since Rave had spoken to her, she felt tears, but at the moment, they weren't going to fall. "What do you want me to do, Kyoshi? I'm back, I'm not going back to Ellwood unless I have to... But I don't just want to leave you... I..." Dusk was about to say that she didn't care, but in all honesty, there was no point in trying to fool herself.
"Tell me what you want me to do, Kyoshi...we both need to fix this...not just me, not just you...we both need to. But I don't know where to start..." Bruises were beginning to form, but they were ignored.

Kyoshi went closer to Dusk and crouched in front of her. He placed those same, large hands over her arms where he held her, knowing that he hurt he physically and healed the bruises. "I want you to look at me." He said softly.
When he was done healing her arms, he took her chin and lifted her head to face. He held her chin as gently as he could. "I don't know where to start either but, I wanted....I want us to have a relationship. Not a fling and not casual. I want you with me." His thumb trailed along her jawline softly back and forth. "I want you to trust me. I want you to trust me for real. I want the real you." He looked down at his foot and stopped his thumb. His heart clenched. Even more tears fell from his eyes. He didn't have the slightest idea of what he wanted. He lost all that he wanted but he couldn't give up. He refused to give up. Dusk was hurt by him as well. "What do you want me to do?" He whispered queitly.
Gambler shifted many times and finally laid still on her back. She was waking up. Her eyes opened and she stared at the ceiling. 'A ceiling.' She didn't remember looking up at a ceiling when she spoke to God. Then it came to her. She lay super still and felt a presense in the room. Closing her eyes she took in a deep breath and yelled out, "RAPE!!!"
(*Author's note: There was no rape. She is really in Joker's house but when you wake up in another environment you don't know this so please, please this is a safe scene. I love my writers and understand that they are under the age of 18. Thank you.)

Rave raised a brow, "Rape?" Yes, he knew what that was so he wasn't asking what it was, he was asking, what the hell are you talking about?
Dusk flinched when Kyoshi touched her, even while he was healing her. For some reason, she couldn't get it in her mind that he wasn't going to come out and kill her. But, when Kyoshi spoke, Dusk sighed, and did as he asked and looked at him. Again, tears were coming, but she refused to let them fall. "I don't know, Kyoshi...I mean..." She shook her head, "This is my fault... I know that, and...well, I do want to fix it...I want life to go back to before... You doing something and me throwing a tantrum...but, never leaving...Just like, pouting or something," There was a slight laugh in her shaking voice.
"But I don't know how we can do that..." The past few days had been hell, and there was no way that Dusk was going to just get up and forgive him. She couldn't. It wasn't in her nature. The girl wanted to be like that, but she just wasn't, and it was...it was sad, really.

So many things were running through Gambler's mind. She could jump and kick the rapists a** and then make a break for the kitchen, then go back out and carve the guy into tiny pieces for attempting to violate her. Or maybe she could just run out and get her guys to do it. Nah, she wanted to let this guy know that she wasn't someone who would just be okay with a freebie. She closed her eyes and was going to wait for the weirdo to come after her for yelling. If he didn't then she was going to make a break for it.
Kyoshi removed his hands from her chin and moved himself away from her. He leaned his back against the wall opposite her and let his head hang and his shoulders sag. 'Life to go back.' How far those days seemed now. It seemed like an eternity for those days. They were so far away from him that he couldn't reach them. Especially after all that has happened between them.
He was supposed to be the type that forgave and forgot but he wasn't. His soul and heart were blacker than the devil and since this was the second time his heart has been ripped out and thrown in a blender, he almost didn't want anything with her. Almost. His heart refused to give her up. He had to face the facts and that was what he was going to do, even if it killed him.
"There is no way for things to be as they were. How can there be, now that everything has happened? We will always remember this. A constant reminder in the back of our minds and then a constant doubt about the other. This isn't something that can be forgotten." He had to take a deep breath because he knew that things like that couldn't be forgotten, he learned from experience. "It's not like we can forget and pretend this never happened." 'No matter how much I wish it never did.' His heart said. It would take a while to banish these raw feeling and move on.
He was willing to work at it but it wouldn't feel the same as before. Kyoshi hoped that Dusk was willing to work at it, too. They've come to damn far to let it just sit and die, whatever it was that was between them. "If your willing to start over.....Then I'm willing. If not, then at least we tried and can move on." That was what he was offering. It was one or the other and no in betweens. If she chose to not start over then that was fine. At least he let her know what he felt just like she has shown him whatever she could. At least he tried.

Raising a brow, Rave looked at Gambler and just shook his head. For some reason, the powerful elven male had somehow begun working for a group of people that weren't really in the norm...how this happened, he had to think of. Looking at Kalore, he noticed that there was a grin on the blonde's face. Rolling his eyes, he went to the blonde and looked thoughtful. "Hmm, too bad Kal is asleep...I was hoping I could talk to him... privately..."
Kalore shot up, "I'm not asleep!" Rave's eyes were grinning, but there was just a ghost of a smile on his face. "I need you to wake up Gambler." The blonde's shoulder's visibly sagged. "Oh..."
Dusk walked up to Kyoshi and held out her hand, ready to help him up, but also showing something else. The girl was willing to try. Now, obviously, they weren't going to be living together and joking around about Kyoshi being an old man and Dusk being an adorable Kitten... But they could start over. Live in separate houses but still see each other. She was willing to start over, no matter how hard it was going to be.
"Hey, the name's Dusk."

Gambler fell quickly back to sleep dispite the possiable rapist. 'Damn stupid blood loss. It's all your fault.' She growled softly at the words. This would really suck if the rapist decided to take her now.
Kyoshi took her hand and got up. He stopped crying and was breathing slightly calmer. He shook her hand like a handshake. "Kyoshi Nakashima. Nice to meet you." This was going to be tough but eventually it would be better. Hopefully this time, since it was a start over things would be different and morre positive. One could hope right?

Pouting, Kalore looked at Rave and then sighed. "But..she looks like hell...and is still bloody...I don't wanna touch that..." The dark haired male shrugged, didn't say anything, and walked into the other room. The water facet was heard as he made himself a glass of water. I wonder if this water is even drinkable...
Dusk nodded. "Pleased to meet you." This was going to be harder than leaving him...but only because leaving and running were the two things that she did best. Facing her problems were not something that Dusk did very often. "Is this where you live? I'm from Area 6."

Kyoshi nodded. "I just moved in." He dropped his hand. "You live in Area 6? I have a few friends that live there." He stated. Yeah, he had a few friends. They were just as insane as him on good days but on bad days they were evil. "What brings you to Area 40? It's hell out there. You should becareful walking out there."
Joker looked around. "I think it's time we head back don't you think?" He asked Eldin.
