(((Jan...chill with the language. It is not appropriate for the time period or setting of this RP.)))

"Not everyone in this world will grow old and die Sin, Only humans and the valtera are bound by a mortal lifespan. And even if it were so...I doubt that Reinsen or his actions will be forgotten." Issildia said darkly as she silently helped him up once again.

"People are not as forgetful as you may think, nor are we so greedy to squander our lives away only for ourselves...You can not live only for yourself, it is a fruitless venture. It is in our memories and in our actions that we live for others...neglecting to reflect our past and experiences through our lives is merely existence...not life."

((sorry but as I suck with making up languages and words all I have to use to emphasize some of Sin's points are swears and the like and as I said I don't have a fancy language to go with it and if I did it probably sound pretty awful... I'll try lightening up on it though. And I know there are ways to emphasize points without swears but they are easier to use then them and sound more grammatically pleasing))

Steadying himself Sin leaned on the branch again and looked at her.

"Reinsen is only a man.... albeit a powerful one, and even if he lived forever sooner or later he will die, by a traitorous aid, or by tripping over his own feet and breaking his neck... There are very few things in this vast world and beyond that are eternal and he is not one of them..."

He sighed and turned around walking in the direction that Issilida was heading before.

"I'm not saying people are forgetful but history has a way of even making the most important men seem small and inconsequential, that’s just how time and history works..."

Using the staff he made a slow pace limping and beginning to feel movement coming back to his legs and arms slowly.

"neglecting to reflect our past and experiences isn't just existence thought... it's just one way to live... moving from day to day with no regrets, never looking back? If I could do that I would, not for lack of trying, and I know for a fact that my life isn't just meaningless existence because of my choice..."

Sin turned around slowly and looked at her smiling.

"I live for myself, but that doesn't mean I don't live for others at the same time."

(((Archer will simply have to catch up, I'm writing in a slight time jump...Welcome to Faltora everyone...)))

Issildia neglected to comment on Sin's words as they continued on. It was obvious that they had different views on the world and she was in no state of mind to argue with him further.
~They traveled on through the night until the faint rays of dawn began to reach up over the horizon, it was then that the scent of blood and ash assaulted them...they had reached the city...

Faltora rose up out of the earth like a glimmering spire of pearl and stone. The war worn walls that surrounded the great city were stained with signs of battle, and the once green lands that surrounded the city were now ashen and dark. From their position the larovian army was still out of sight, but signs of their presence could be seen as smoke cast from the fires of their camps clouded the sky above.
"The city still stands..." Issildia whispered with relief.

At that moment shouts could be heard coming from the eastern watchtower of the city as they were sighted by the guards posted there.
Issildia watched as this happened with a flat expression. "When they come, do not draw your weapons or speak."

Suddenly, the air around them grew chill as five celtarie soldiers adorned in the clothing of Faltorian guards appeared out of the darkness, surrounding them.
"Who are you, and what is your purpose here? Questioned the cloaked leader of the guards. "Speak quickly!" he added in a harsh tone.

"We bring news and aid to Lord Remos and his kingdom." she stated.

"And what use could you be to our lord or to this kingdom" asked the celtarie leader as he leveled his blade to Issildia's neck, his eyes reflecting deadly intent.
A dry smirk crossed Issildia face as she met the gaze of the celtarie captain.
"My name is Issildia Nevar...and myself and my companions here have much to tell your lord..."

"Nevar!?" muttered the celtarie captain as his eyes flared.

"Disarm them and bind the woman's hands, bring them to the Keep!"

Quickly the guards disarmed the three. As one of them attempted to take Issildia's blade Nyththirren, the guard barely set his hands on the sheath before he leapt back as if scalded by simply touching it.
“I wouldn’t try that again.” muttered Issildia. The captain of the guards simply motioned for the guard to leave the blade and to finish binding Issildia’s wrists behind her back.

They then surrounded the three of them, leaving both Archer's and Sins hands unbound. And before the larovians could sight them in the dim light of the dawn the guards escorted them to the eastern gates where they quickly slipped inside.
As they were roughly escorted past the inquisition rooms were normally any intruders would be tested by a nazuren, Issildia spoke. "How careless, not testing we visitors." she said darkly.

"Silence." Commanded the celtarie captain. "But you need not worry...Lord Remos will be seeing to the likes of you three himself." he replied with a dry laugh.

~After climbing a duo of stair cases and venturing down an ornately decorated hall they finally arrived at the throne room. Without a word the guards roughly shoved Issildia, Sin, and Archer into the room and quickly shut the doors behind them.

The room itself was dimly lit, and seemed unoccupied as they slowly walked forward.

"This has gone better than expected." Issildia said calmly to Sin and Archer. "I had expected worse…I assume you two are still alright...physically at least." she added dryly.

Sin's hands were behind his head as he looked about at the throne room and whistled as he spun around looking at the room.

"Wow... impressive... and totally pointless..."

The last part was said as an afterthought as he continued on.

"kinda like takeing my weapons... seeing as I don't have any... well... any that can be taken away from me..."

He walked fowards towards the throne and smiled as he looked it over.

"hey... I wonder if anyone would notice me sit in the chair? I'm betting their planning to keep us here for a while before they come in...."

"Do not be a fool." uttered Issildia. "He is already here." she uttered in a foreboding tone as she then dropped to a knee in respect.

"Lord Remos." Issildia said as she averted her gaze to the floor. "It is an honor."

"So...the daughter of Nevar and a wayward traveler of fell intentions finally arrive in this dark hour." spoke a voice that did not originate from the room, but spoke directly into their minds.

"Tell me...what do you hope to achieve in coming here?"

"My Lord, we come to do what we can." said Issildia as her gaze remained lowered.

"I doubt that will be enough. In your current state...neither you or Sin can turn the tide of this battle." Nicholas Remos said verbally, finally appearing out of a shadow cloaked corner of the room. Already he had easily learned of Sin's name by simply drawing it out of their memories...though this was merely a subtle display of his power over the mind.

"Stand, Lady Nevar." he ordered.

Without hesitation Issildia came to her feet and finally leveled her gaze with Lord Remos's.

"Tell me," he asked finally cutting to the matter at hand.

"Do you have any intention of facing your father...Or will he be left for another to dispatch" Nicholas Remos voiced this question in a curious tone, almost as if her already guessed the answer.

"I have every intention of facing him, my lord..."

No sign of emotion crossed Remos' face as he nodded before turning to Sin.

"And what of you...What do you seek in coming here?"

Sin almost jumped as he was reffered to by name from a compleat stranger. Hopping off the patform the throne was on he slid to a stop near Issilida and smiled scratching the back of his head.

"Hi sir, nice to meet you!"

with that he jabbed a finger at Issilda and smiled.

"I'm here to... umm... I really don't know why I 'myself' am here, but I've been following this moody, dramatic lady here for some time now..."

He closed his eyes and continued to smile at the lord.

"kinda crappy awnser huh?.... hey two questions that I've been wanting to ask since I came in here... first... you don't know me... much less what I'm capiable of, I assume that you know Issilda though, so do you really think it's wise to meet with me face to face? I mean couldn't I be an assassin..."

Sin looked thoughtful for a moment and giggled at the thought.

"that be funny... me an assassin... anyways.. the second question is... can I sit in your throne? please? I mean it just looks soooo cool and I've always wanted to sit on a throne..."

"Do not take me for a fool child...I know very well why you are here...the only question is if your target knows your motives as well." Nicholas spoke this with his mental voice, though neglecting to allow Issildia in on the silent conversation.
"You have a choice...I hope you intend on making the right one."

Nicholas Remos then gestured to the corners of the room where a duo of guards stood silently.

"My guards will escort you to your quarters, take rest and prepare yourself for confronting the enemy. Which I fear will be far sooner than any may guess. But I would like to speak with Lady Nevar in private, we have much to discuss..."

For once Sin's face had an expression that he hadn't used since he was a child, shock. He didn't say anything but looked away at the floor as the guards came and escorted towards his quarters. Walking out of the room and down the dimly lit corridors he looked over his sholder towards the two bulky men walking behind him. With a serious voice he spoke to the two escorting him.

"I hope you will forgive me for this... but I need some air...."

He let the statement hang in the air as both guards looked at him and both took a step back reaching for their swords.

'Yeah didn't think so..."

With one step Sin had pivitied on his heel and turned to face the guards. One swift motion later both guards were standing still, still reaching for there swords, and Sin had each of his index fingers pokeing a small portion of their necks.

Pulling away his hands he turned and walked down the hall heading towards where he assumed the battlements were located.

As soon as Sin left the room the sound of Issildia muttering an incantation under her breath was heard, almost immediately rope binding her hands fell away from her wrists. All the time Nicholas silently probed into her memories, normally he would not do so without permission, but time was short.

"Pity." uttered Nicholas. "You now fear your own power to the point that you bind every actions born of it will remedial spells and incantations."

Issildia remained silent as she averted her gaze, almost in an act of shame.

"What use can you be to us when you limit yourself so."

"With all due respect Lord Remos...how I govern such things is my choice."

"Indeed." he retorted, "But that does not make your choice the correct one...Your birthright is both a gift and a curse...but you bury both aspects away in fear and doubt."

"My lord, I..."

"You are nothing more than a mere shadow of what you could be. The death of the one you loved, this Demitri...it has broken you. You have forgotten who you are." he said darkly as he continued to probe her thoughts.

"You have no right." she uttered lowly; her tone that of a threat.

"Anier is gone and as much as it pains me to say...it will never come back. And Demitri...he now answers to the same fate as the White City. "

"Stop this." uttered Issildia in warning as her eyes darkened.

"You are more than what you have become..." he responded with venom. "Until you can let go of your past...you will not be of any use to us...you will die Issildia, and it will be your father to claim your life...And what good can you be to anyone if you are slain..."

Sin sighed as he stood atop the battlement. He looked out over the vast land and frowned. The words the king had spoken to him brought back up the conflict he was haveing. Who's side was he on. He wanted to make his own decision but if it meant betraying the monkoto, He knew he just couldn't do it. Hearing a guard comeing he hopped over the edge of the battlement, clinging onto the side, as the solider passed he tried to think about what he could do.

As the guard passed he flipped back up onto the top and watched the guard continue on his route. He looked back and forth across the city's walls. Comeing to a decision he headed towards the guard towers and climbed up the side of their smooth walls towards the top. Flipping silently on top he quickly knocked out the guard standing watch. Lifting up the guard he pressed several spots on the back of his neck and the man's body stiffend up sharply. By the time he woke up the effects will have worn off so it would seem to him he simply fell asleep on his feet.

turning his back to the guard he blew lightly on his finger, so it glowed like an ember from a burnt log, and begand to draw a large circle onto the tower useing the burn marks he left on the stone. he began to draw connecting lines in the circle and continued to draw for the better part of an hour. Once finished he connected the last two lines and watched as the seal faded into the stone dissipiering.

Sin walked to the edge of the tower and looked to the next one.

"it'll be one long night..."

He wisperd jumping off the tower and makeing his way to the next one.

((Alright, I'll be posting under this account for now. I'm waiting for a reply from GAIA so that I can activate my account, which I will be highly upset if I can't, but other than that, they said it may take a week to respond. So, yeah. Once I get the reply I'll be posting under the new account. ANY, THE PLOT NOW STARTS. twisted ))

~In the Larovian encampment, Akurei's presence could now be felt. HE was saluted among the various soldiers within Reinsen's forces, while others did not seem to know who he was. Calmly, he made his way to the front lines where he would rendevous with the commander of this particular unit. Once he reached his position, the commander himself greeted Akurei with the same salute that had been seen throughout the encampment...a Trenian Salute.~

Lord Takinowa, I am honored by your presence.

What's our status?

As you can see, our power has driven the Faltoran troops back into the walls of their city. We've endured minor skirmishes with little casualties. We can take the city at any time.

Remos will certainly attempt to evacuate his people. This must not be allowed. We need as many of their souls as possible, either that, or a few strong souls. Where are the others?

Dayax and Atrista are in posotion. Dagaal has p enatrated their barriers and is awaiting your signal.

Any sign that they've detectedhis presence?

No lord. We are all capable of hiding our auras, even at full power. No one would recognize us unless they've already felt our power. I can assure you, that not even Remos or Matier will be able to detect us movements...not until it is too late.

Good.

Your orders Lord?

This stalemate has lasted long enough. twisted Attack.

~Just as Akurei finished his statements, the Larovian encampment had falled under seige, as the soldiers began to turn on one another. It had seemed that Akurei's army had infiltrated Reinsen's ranks and were now executing his soldiers. Once the Larovian troops were routed, the remaining troops suddenly sprouted Black demonic wings. THeir shrieks were obviously not that of the Celtarie, in fact they were Maharan warriors, the very race that had pledged their allegiance to that of the Trenian Royal Family. They all took off into the skies, the murderuous intent of their master reflecting in theor shrieks as they made their way towards their borders.~

((If you have not read the 1st page, READ IT!!! IT explains the races of the plot and the NPCs involved. Jan, you especially. lol. You tend to have ALOT of questions. lol.))

~It had been little less than an hour since Issildia had spoken to Lord Remos, she now stood within the confines of the quarters that she had been given for the time being. Her wounds from the battle outside the city had long since healed, and she was now garbed in a new set of armor that was similar to the sort she had worn in the service of Anier.
Silently she removed the glove on her right hand to remove the ring she wore on her index finger. It had belonged to Demitri, and she'd had it in her position ever since the fall of Anier. Without a word she set the ring on the oaken table before her, then without pausing, she turned to leave.

As soon as she exited her quarters a Faltorian guard intercepted her in the hall. "Lord Remos requests your presence at the western watchtower."

"What has happened?" she questioned.

The guard seemed at a loss for words so without pause Issildia suddenly disappeared into the shadows without uttering any sort of incantation or spell. Obviously Lord Remos' words had brought about a change, whether she had wanted it or not...

~Silently Issildia reappeared behind Nicholas on the western tower of the city.
"What has happened?"

Nicholas merely watched in silence as the distant Larovian encampment was consumed in screams of terror.
"We must get my people out of the city." he murmured.
"Whatever has set its will against the Larovians could easily destroy your people if they leave the city." Issildia replied, her surprise at this turn of events masked by her words.

"And what would you suggest." asked Nicholas darkly.

"To long have your soldiers remained within these walls...ride out and meet them. Even if it be your end, at least you would not die within these walls...hiding from the enemy." she countered.

"To what point and purpose...for death and remembrance...I think not." he retorted.
"So you will only wait here for death?"
"Do not be foolish, death is already upon us..." his words telling more than Issildia could realize.
