*When Synge was hugged she pushed Hikaru away instantly, she didn't need for people to start wondering about her right now. She looked a bit angry.*
Hikaru, you can't cuddle, so stop staying that. Geez...
*Really she didn't mind him hugging her at all, but around all these people, she felt nervous. It was really guilt, but she just didn't know it. She sighed.*
You should be happy, he could kick you out if he wanted to. Maybe he should!
*She said this last part with a smile and let out a small laugh. She was only kidding. She looked at Keira to see what she was thinking.*

After studying laboriously, Ben managed to find the answer he was looking for, it was a shame though, the name he thought of wasn't the same. Sighing he made his way out to the tavern to find it filled with music. He was thankful that this was another talent of Cap...the would be conductor turned mage.
He entered the tavern area and noticed Hikaru was cavorting with Synge as usual. Keira seemed to be in a quiet mood...not that he could blame her. He stopped on the way to the couch to see Keira and had a concerned sound in his voice.
You still trooping along there?

*Synge didn't see Ben at first, but she heard him and she instantly felt happy and nervous at the same time. She turned around to see him, and found that he wasn't greeting her. Somehow this hurt her, but she couldn't explain why. She stared at him silently, wanting to hold him.*

*Hikaru was in a good mood, and the music was helping. He expected Synge to push him away, so he didn't mind. He heard Ben come in and he sighed. Then he watched as Ben tried to talk to Keira, and felt annoyed. Would she be nice to Ben and not Hikaru? It seemd unfair if that was the case. Shaking the feeling off he smiled charmingly and walked over to Ben.*

*Keira felt odd again as if she was some sort of charity case. She decided to just ignore it for now while everyone else conversed. She just tunes into the music playing and closes her eyes*

*Synge smiled when she saw Ben wink at her, she felt reassured. She was happy as he put his arm around her. She moved closer to him to feel his warmth. She looked forward to going to bed tonight. She was feeling extra loving. She nodded to Ben as he explained why he had been gone, it was fine, he was here now. Then she saw Hikaru approach Ben, she held her breath, hoping it would go well. She almost laughed as Ben talked about vendors and such. She moved closer to him.*
Yeah, you should get a room Hikaru. The couch isn't free you know.

Alright, if you both insist, I'll get a room here. How much is it for a week? I can pay right now. No need to get all formal and show me the room either, I don't want to bother you so late in the night.
*He smiled and leaned in close to Ben and whispered on the side that wasn't close to Synge.*
Just so you know, I'm watching over Synge, so you better not hurt her.
*He went back to his normal posture and looked over to Keira. He couldn't help but look at her. He did so with soft eyes.*

*Synge hadn't heard what Hikaru had whispered to Ben. She was too focused on feeling close to Ben's body. She smiled and looked at him sweetly.*
Ben you are too nice, you can't always let people sleep on the couch for free.
*She paused before speaking on. What she said next sounded slightly strange and nervous.*

*Hikaru turned his eyes away from Keira when Ben spoke to him. He hadn't been looking at her in a bad or, or a happy way. It was really just in a sad and distant way. He knew Ben's response was shaped by what he had whispered to him, but he didn't mind. He nodded and handed Ben the right amount, pulling it from a bag that was kept in his coat pocket. The pocket that didnt' have Synge's headband of course.*
I'm sure. Well here you are then. Thanks.
*This time his gaze fell on Synge. He saw how she was acting to sweet to Ben. He wondered why Synge was only this way with Ben. His eyes stayed on her a moment, almost looking angry for a second. He then looked away.*
