If there's a Waterstones where you live, I suggest going there. No matter what I want, even if they don't have it in any of their warehouses, they can get me it. The best example I can think of is just before Christmas. My girlfriend's a nurse, curently at uni in order to be promoted to staff nurse, and she asked for a book for her studies. It was a brand new book that wasn't being sold in any bookshops just yet. I asked for it at Waterstones and they got it before the end of the next week.
Of course, it might just be a coincidence and that they just waited until it was released to their stock, but still. They sent me a text to let me know they had it waiting for me.
