Maiden Melody Lee Mai-lin nodded. "Ok. We can go now." Her facec was a slight pinkish color as she whistled for the two dogs. "Should we get something on the way back or do you have something good?"

"I'm sure there's something good at the house, Yuhi cooks all the time." Kei picked Rou up and carried him so he wouldn't have to worry about chasing after the pup if he got distracted. "If you want to stop and get snacks we can."
Tori shook her head. "It doesn't matter." she went over and sat on the bench beside the pond, staring at the birds in the water. "I don't think that something like that will happen again so there's nothing to worry about." I hope. Takeshi will be coming back for me tonight if he's healed enough. This time, he won't take no for an answer but bring me back by force.

"Sure it does." Anekio grinned, "My prides at stake here." She sat down beside Tori, giving her a questioning look. "You aren't thinking about him are you?"

"How can I not be considering everything that's been going on? You do realize that he's going to come after me before he tries for Ran again. I won't be surprised if he tries to get me to get her for him." Tori gave a sigh and leaned back, eyes falling closed.
Yuhi decided to give the girls some time to talk so started walking the edge of the pond. He picked up some rocks and threw them in, trying to skip them across to the other side.

Anekio frowned slightly, but stayed quiet for a moment. "Yeah, but...If that's the case you need to tell the Hokage what's going on. You were the only one that understood me at first if you remember, I don't think I could lose you to that b*****d." She rested her elbows on her knees, proping her head in her hands.

"I'm sure that he knows by now after the incident at the hospital, especially since Konohamaru was killed." Tori shook her head and sighed again. "I've been able to handle him all right on my own so far. Then again he hasn't tried to bring me back with him until now. I think that if I go with him... things will be better. He'll only kill more people if things don't work out the way he wants. He's the Mists top assassin and has never been caught before. I don't want more innocent people to die because of me. I can just think of it as a recon mission."

Anekio frowned and shook her head. "No, he probably knows that Takeshi was after Ran and that's it. Then again, I'm sure he knows your from Mist, so I'm not sure. I'm a little foggy on the details." She sighed, closing her eyes and trying to get past the graphic images there. "Hm...D'you think you'd be able to corresponde with me? If I can't see you then I at least have to talk to you." She smiled, "Still, you shouldn't just go without a fight. If anything you should ask for two people to guard you from a distance."

Tori laughed. "While I was still in Mist, Takeshi was my personal bodyguard. That's one of the things I remember. He knows me like the back of his hand so I can't hide anything from him. As for sending you messages, that probably wouldn't work too well. Though Fuki is one of the fastest fliers around so probably wouldn't be caught. I also don't think my safety is a problem. If they wanted me dead, they would have done so by now instead of trying to talk me into going back."

"That explains why the two of you are so close." Anekio smiled and opened her eyes, "But there's got to be somebody that'd be strong enough to protect you. Even if we have to go to one of our allies, you should go to the Hokage. He can help." She sat straight up, looking over at the pond. "Even if you did go back, you'd hate it there because it's not Konoha. You know this place has that effect on anybody that stays for too long."

"Yeah it does, and I only have bad memories of Mist. And my friends are here, meaning you, Yuhi and the birds." She gave a slight smile. "I guess I'll go talk to the Hokage. I'd rather not bring in anyone else though. Takeshi does have weak spots and was even wounded when you and Konohamaru fought him. I don't want you going with me to Mist though, they'd kill you."

Mai-lin nodded. "Ok. That's good. What do you have to watch?" She questioned as She, HImi and Kei made their way to Kei's house. "You had better have some kind of good adventure. I don't really like chick-flick. But in a house full of guys I don't think I'd have to worry too much.

"Yeah, we have plenty of action movies, lots of martial arts ones. It's always good to try and learn new techniques and some of the things those guys in the movies can do are awesome." Kei smiled. "If we do have any 'chick flicks' it's because Yuhi keeps a few around in case he has any girls come over."

"Look up to him?" Kei pulled his key from his pocket and unlocked the door to his house. "I guess I do a bit, I mean he is a strong shinobi. I just think his priorities are a little out of order." He held the door open for Mai-lin, then shut it after she and Himi came in. "Looks like he's still out."
