[Cometstream threw back her head in loud laughter.] "You mouse-brains don't even realize it, do you? It's Doveflight's cycle starting all over again! She murdered, and attacked kits. It's been passed down to me after i murdered her, then well, attacked these two, thinking of it as justice, just as she had." [She jumped to her paws, glaring at Falcondive, as if confronting him.] "Don't you realize the never-ending cycle you're threatening to keep going? You murder me, you're no better. I know murdering Doveflight made me no better than her, but if this keeps going, cats will become nothing but murdering, lying foxdungs! If this continues, Breezeclan is going to fall apart!" [She snarled at Falcondive, fluffing out her fur to look bigger.] "And when a clan falls apart..." [She smacked her clawed paw on top of Falcondive's.] "...its clanmates fall apart, in turn."

 __________________ [Serpent was shocked by Galestar's sudden expression of fear and concern. She had no idea what was happening all she could smell was the faint smell of blood Galestar had mentioned] Could this be the fault of those 2 legged monsters that are seeking Serpent!? Have they followed Serpent all the way here, or is it something else?? [All fear left her mind and she bristled up in case she would have to fight. She was not worried though, she had faith that her new leader would protect her]

Never surrender to blood lust! you are not a toy for fate, their is no cycles in life to follow! ... you are Serpent's new family and Serpent dose not wish to see such things. Some things hurt more than any scratch ever could..." [Serpent looked up at Cometstream with confused but welcoming eyes]

Stormpaw Late Apprentice [Stormpaw was in a daze when he spotted Galestar bounded off somewhere. Stormpaw raced swiftly and gracefully over to Galestar and the other warriors. What had Galestar sensed that had caused so that emotion bursted in his face?]
[He took up Galestar's words that he must fight like a warrior,
he was going to prove all that, that he was just as strong as any warrior. He waited with Galestar and looked at Serpent's worried face] "Hey Serpent, what's wrong?"

Stormpaw Late Apprentice [Stormpaw looked at Serpent intenteley] "Serpent, it is the way of the clans. It is way harsh and barren compared to the kitty-pet life. And nothing can stop the death of a close clanmate, but for them, we must be strong. Or they would have died for nothing. Serpent, don't worry. Things will always get better, just like when I was a kit, no matter how many things we fought, we still pulled through. [Stormpaw said to Serpent with glowing eyes. Stormpaw hoped Serpent would pull through.]

[Cometstream felt her pelt itching, and she suddenly turned on Serpentkit.] "We're not your family, you mouse-brain! We're a clan, not members of your family!" [She advanced a couple steps.] "Get it right! A cycle can't be broken, and i can't control it! My instinct is to purify, and the only way i can purify is getting rid of all these bloodthirsty souls!" [Her snarls and growls soon turned to fearful wails, and she collapsed onto the ground.] "Luke! Luke, answer me! Answer my prayers, for once!" [She wailed to the sky, hiding her face in her paws.] "Why, Luke?! Why, Starclan?! Starclan took you away too early! And it was to kill that...that FOXDUNG! Why did Doveflight survive, but you have to go? Starclan, please! Let me see him!" [She sobbed, hiding her face away from the rest of her clanmates in shame. Hesitantly, Spadekit got to her paws, limping over and laying down next to Cometstream. The tabby didn't raise a paw to bat the kit away or even turn on the kit.]
(I gtg to a camping trip...see you all day after tomorrow!)

[Falconstrike snarled as he pressed his face closer to his, so that they were almost touching nose to nose. He barely registered what Serpentkit was saying about Twolegs - the words of a stupid kit hardly mattered at this time. He was on the verge of leaping at her, when Cometstream suddenly collapsed onto the ground and started wailing at the sky, yowling towards Starclan. Falconstrike shook his head in disgust - it would seem that Cometstream's mind has finally broken.]
"She doesn't deserve to live, just give the word, Galestar!"

☼  ●  ● ☼ ❧  ♨----------------------- [Galestar watched the scene calmly, with an unreadable expression. As Cometstream collapsed, he sighed.]
"You create the cycle on your own," he snorted. "you let the deaths of others control your life, your emotions. The problem with you, the problem with Doveflight, the problem for these innocent kits-it all revolves around the deaths of others! You were obsessed with Doveflight's death; Doveflight was obsessed with her leader's death; and now, you're grinding this stupid philosophy into her children's minds, who are now becoming worried with your death!"
[Galestar began to pace, his eyes narrowing.]
"Ah, it's all so stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid-" As he said the word, he began to lash out at a tree branch, his sharp talons of claws unsheathed.
"-stupid, stupid, STUPID-" he ripped through the bark, gorging into the innards of the tree.
"STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!" His expression was filled with calm, but his eyes were filled with an icey blue, fiery hate.
"I was obsessed with Willowstar's death, and drove away my own clanmate. Why can't we all just stop obsessing over death and live our short lives to the fullest?!"
[He bared his teeth at nothing in particular, staring at the shredded bark before him.]
Slowly, he turned to Cometstream and said, "Not while there's a chance."
Stepping closer, he hissed, "I will never harm Dicekit, as long as there is a chance that she can be free from your insanity. As long as she still has good in her, I will trust in her!"
He snarled, "She will learn the true difference between right and wrong, good and evil! And she won't use it as an excuse to harm others!"
Finally, he stood in front of Cometstream, pelt bristling, and face pulled back and snarling and snapped, "And BreezeClan will stay strong
for AS LONG.
AS I.
AM LEADER!!!"
[He leapt at Cometstream in fury, a streak of creamy white. He wrestled her to the ground, and kicked Falconstrike back before he jumped in.]
"Not yet," he hissed.
[He turned back to her, his eyes filled with anger, frustration, and even agony. He stared deep into Cometstream's eyes.]
"The last thing I want to do is cause another death of a revered clanmate," he said, suddenly sounding calm again.
After a long pause, he said, "So I will turn to an alternative."
[He smashed her head against the ground, rendering her unconcious.]

She extended her extrodanarally long front fangs and swished her tail.] "You are not pure... you cannot purify ANYTHING! Thay are far more pure im my eyes than you. you are the only one with thirst for blood..." [Serpent would have continued on her rant.. but suddenly felt concerned for her when Comentstream cried to the sky calling for Luke. She was worried but dare not approach her in fear of what she might do.]

 M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf flicked her ears in agreement, letting the wind sweep back her fur, it whistling in her ears.]
"It is, it is indeed. I only wish I could come here more often... It seems like nothing, not even StarClan, could break the peacefulness of this place. This place holds many memories for me... Some good, some bad. I...I lost my best friend here, the day after our warrior ceremony," Mapleleaf murmured, her mind screaming at her, asking her why she was telling all this to Embergaze.
[Mapleleaf swallowed, trying to push down the ball of grief that welled up inside of her, making her unable to speak. She lay down in the grass, her head on her paws, staring of into the distance, her bright eyes now filled with pain of fresh grief.] ____________________________________________
