Eldin looked at him oddly, "You seem strangely...happy.... about all this..."

Dusk glared, "I did half the work? Bullshit. Anything I did to him, he did back and more." She didn't know why she was arguing with Gambler. "Please... I respect you greatly Gambler...please don't piss me off over this..." The girl was jumping around the actual question of did Dusk care. Dusk did, but not for the same reasons she would have two days ago. "What's the point in killing him? Kyoshi should be able to fight off anything this Hellhole throws at him..."
PostPosted: Tue Oct 20, 2009 9:50 pm

Gambler raised a brow. "First you all call him an idiot and stupid and all these names. You say he's a waste and worthless and everything that goes with it and now you really think he has any strength to fight this hellhole?" She shook her head, letting the door open all the way. "That puts you and everyone like hypocritcs. Then again I'm here to judge you or any of your friends. I'm here to do one thing and one thing only......"

Kyoshi heard the voices again and decided it wasn't in his head. He got out of his closet (and not in the way you might be thinking either), his eyes all red from sleep and crying and slightly puffy. He marched out of the room and saw Gambler's figure at the door. He went closer to tell her to be quiet but he stopped and stared at Dusk with open mouth shocked. A wave of emotion came over him. He was breathing in like he had a seizure, glaring at Dusk. "Yo-You.....Get out of here!!! I never want to see you again!!! You hear me!?" He snarled and went at Dusk.

Gambler stepped out of the way and walked to the Sofa, sheathing her sword.

Kyoshi snarled curses at Dusk but found himself holding her tightly. He was stupid. She was stupid. They both were stupid. He was telling her to go away but he brought her into the apartment and closed the door, locking it with his mind. He pulled Dusk from his arms and shook her slightly. "I never want to see you again! I hate you so much that you drive me insane! I can't stand to sight of you because....because...." He hugged her again. He was a mess and he needed to let it be known that he was. "I can't believe you would come here! Damn it you stubborn woman what the hell were you thinking?! I know you hate me and don't care so just go the hell away from me....please..."

Inwardly he was screaming the opposite things. He didn't want her to go. He wanted her to stay and make him mad over stupid things and to watch t.v. with him or go to the clubs or he could cook for her like he did before. He loved her and he would never stop loving her even if he did hate her and she hated him too. That wouldn't stop him from it.

"Damn you Dusk!!!" He shook her again. He fell to his knees before and held her close, tears were coming down. "Damn it Dusk!!! You didn't even let me go back and fight to get you!!" He was going to go back to Area 6 and fight for her. He would have to kill Gambler to get Dusk back even if it meant dying too. He wouldn't, couldn't, shouldn't let things be like this. He wanted to tell everyone to shove it and fight for Dusk. Kyoshi held her closely going speechless. "Please tell me your real and that your not something of my madness....Please tell me that your real right now?" He whispered softly.

Gambler left as soon as Kyoshi brought Dusk in. She flew back to Area 6 as fast as she could and landed short of entering and was in a field of grass. It was real grass that was planted there a few years ago and it was the only grass other than Ellwood that was pure, all-natural grass. She was so tired that her vision was blurred. "This seriously sucks. Those two owe me big for this." She fell to her knees and looked up at the sky. "If some damn weirdo walks out here and freaking molests me, I'm going to murder every last one of them until the memory fades. You know how good my memory is too." Exhaustion came over her and she knocked out, holding the hilt of the katana tightly.

((Ok...now I feel bad because I'm fighting the clock for school...v.v Awesome book by the way XD))

There were so many things Dusk wanted to say right now. Get the hell away from me! was at the top. Along with, You suck, you're a coward! And, Why did you just turn your back on me when I was trying to help! Dusk was tense as Kyoshi held her, spoke to her. When it came for the time to have her talking, she shook her head. They could have an actual fight, but she wasn't in the mood to start it. So, all the woman said was, "No. I'm not something of your madness, Kyoshi. I'm real." Sadly...

Yes, she had hurt him, but by turning his back on her when she was trying like hell to fix their mess, it hurt her. Badly. Her reasons for coming back to this stop was to stop Gambler from doing anything that would help Kyoshi. If Kyoshi was going to die, then so was she. It wouldn't be fair that he would be able to pass while she was stuck dealing with this hell. Dusk wasn't a hypocrite because she had to go out into the world and face it, Kyoshi could do the same thing.

Walking to Gambler, Rave sighed. He knew that something was up, so he had gone for a walk, thinking. Finding Gambler, the elf knelt down and slowly picked her up, not wanting to wake her up. Making sure that he had even the katana, Rave began the walk back to Joker's house.

(Awwwww *hugs* Don't feel bad, here *hands a gold medal for beating the clock for school* You did a good job. ^.^ And I'm glad you like my book.....Kyoshi did half of it. Kyoshi: *sticks tongue out* *hugs Kyoshi*)

That bitter part of Kyoshi wanted her to be a figment of his imagination. That bitter part of him slapped Kyoshi in the face to see what he was doing. His eyes went wide. Kyoshi stood up looking at Dusk, the stony, cold mask from before back in place. "Get out. I don't want you here or anywhere near me." He said coldly. His hands were shaking. That non-bitter part of him wanted to pull her in his arms again and squeeze her with a bear hug but that bitterness was there. He could taste the bitterness inside him and it tasted like acid. He was a wreck that he didn't know what he wanted or needed.

This was not something he had expected. He had to leave this place and go somewhere far, far away where no one can find him. Kyoshi couldn't be here. Not now and not with Dusk so close. He turned his face to look away. "Leave me be....I don't want you here....." 'To see me like this...' His mind finished for him.

Gambler started to mumble in her sleep, saying things in her divine language and then in spanish. She snuggled closer to the warmth and raised her hand to cover her face. "Ninja!" She shouted.

Rave was now in the doorway of Joker's home when Gambler did her little, Ninja! act. Ignoring that, he placed her on the other couch that Kalore wasn't sleeping on. Kalore didn't even wake up...amazingly. Letting go of Gambler, Rave went to get himself some water. Now that Gambler was found, he had to find Dusk. But the elf knew that that was going to be much much harder.

Sighing, Dusk looked at Kyoshi. "If that's really what you want, fine. I can leave, and you can leave...we'll never see each other again. If that's what you really want, tell me. I don't hate you, but I don't like you. At the moment, I'm hurt. I'm willing to admit this, Kyoshi. Now, what do you want to do?" She was willing to leave, just...just walk away. Dusk would make it how she originally wanted. Walk away and never look back, just dealing with her pain on her own. What Kalore, Rave, and Gambler had all said...it was all true.

But, though she would never say it, at least not now, it hurt her to think that.

Gambler turned and hugged a pillow. Then she threw it across the room. "Ninja!" She was having a dream where she was being chased down by a band of ninjas with....fish as weapons. It was an odd dream but then again she hasn't slept like that in forever.

Kyoshi looked at her with irritation. "Your hurt? Your hurt? Have you ever thought about how I'm hurt?" He counted to ten, then to twenty and then to thirty before he spoke again. "You know what I want to do? I want to shake you senseless for everything that has happened. But you know what, I'm not going to do that. No. I won't." He took a few steps back. His stone mask cracked and gave way, letting all the emotions he was feeling inside show. It was everything you can imagine wrapped together, fighting each other. He looked at the ground to not let her see the tears building up at the rim of his eyes. "You...." He was drowning in his pain now. He couldn't form words and he really didn't know what he wanted because it hurt to think about it and it was painful to feel it.

Rave walked back into the living room and picked up the pillow, setting it back down beside Gambler. Looking around, he took another drink, now just listening to Gambler. "There are no Ninja's here, Miss Gambler.."

Dusk was about to go out the door, but something was holding her here. "That note was...it was supposed to hurt you...I didn't want you coming after me, so I made a note that would cut you so deep that you would want me dead... That, in my mind, was better than you coming after me and getting hurt trying to help me..." It was selfish, but what people didn't see was that it hurt her just as much as it hurt him. People didn't see that, but it was so true...

"It was stupid...but at the time...I know it was wrong. I should have told you what was going on...but..." Looking at him, now, Dusk asked, walking back to him, crouching. "If I would have told you everything, right then while you were still hurt, and still loving me...Would you have just let me go do what I needed to do?"
PostPosted: Wed Oct 21, 2009 2:36 pm

On the outside, Kyoshi seemed to be this strong, unstoppable being. Inside he was strong but the real inside part of him was vulnerable. "I would have let you go. Even if knowing that you wouldn't come back, I would have." But then he would have kicked himself in the a** and went after her. "But you never trusted me enough to tell me anything. You kept things from me. How the hell would you want me to act? Like it was okay, nothing to worry about? You....you..." He took a few steps back. Tears where falling on the ground. He wanted to say something but he didn't know what it was because his mind was reeling and everything seemed be coming and going fast.

Gambler shifted on the couch. She shifted again and threw the pillow up at the ceiling and it fell hitting her on the face. "Ninja fish!" She shouted into the pillow.

Dusk shrugged, trying to seem...unphazed. But that wasn't the truth. In truth, she wanted to go up to Kyoshi, wipe away his tears, and do everything in her power to fix this. "I didn't tell you because neither of us had said anything about our family. So, it never came up. I only realized what was going on after you got hurt..." Dusk felt her knees giving way, but she stood strong. "I would want you to let me go, but I knew that you wouldn't...Or if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. You wouldn't had let me go on my own..."

Raising his eye brow, Rave asked, "Ninja fish? Isn't that a fish on that online site, Gaia?" But he went to her, finding this extremely humorous, but no smile was on his face. The man almost always had a neutral look on him.

Gambler stayed quiet it for abit then she moved to face the sofa, the pillow dropping to the other side. Then she turned and furrowed her brows. Instead of being chased by ninjas she was being chased by clowns, scary looking clowns with plant eating things. "Killer clown!" She covered her face and curled up into a ball. A clown had changed his weapon back to the fish and slapped her with it. "Clown fish!"

Kyoshi looked up at her. "It doesn't matter if we spoke about our families. If you had a problem you should have told me and I would have helped you in any way I could, even if it meant giving you up." That was stupid that she didn't tell him. He had no family, other than Gambler.

Rave sighed and went to Gambler, gently shaking her. "Miss Gambler?"

Dusk shook her head, but couldn't really say anything. "What now, then?" There were other things she probably should have said, but that was the elephant in the room. Neither one had said it, but someone had to. Now the facts were out in the open, both knowing why the other acted as they did. Now the problem was finding what was next.

Gambler felt something moving her. In her mind it was an earthquake but in reality it was Rave gently shaking her. She furrowed her brows and held on to the seat cushion and watched the killer clowns, clown fish and ninjas fishes be swallowed up by the hole in the ground made by the earthquake. Everything turned into mist and she was slowly being woken up. She heard a Miss Gambler from somewhere and clicked her tongue. "It's Gambler." Who ever the weirdo was that knew her name and that was shaking her was going to get punched. Did she think it was Rave? No. Why? Because to her Rave came off as the type of guy that just minded his own business unless it involved him.

"What now?" He looked at her with narrowed eyes. "You can go. Your free." He walked away and entered his room, slamming the door such and went back into the dark closet and slam that door too. There was nothing left to do. He was going to stay in there and just.....deal with it. Would he stop loving should she leave now? No. He couldn't but what was there left for him? Nothing. To him, nothing could be the same.

Dusk began walking out, but then looked around at the messy place. Sighing, she began cleaning it up, while she cleaned, the girl was thinking. Things were hell now. She was back to being numb. Life...life wasn't really meaning anything.

Rave sighed and sat down on the floor. These people were...odd.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:15 pm

The shaking stopped and she fell back into slumber. She stretched like a cat and then layed on her back. Her wings that she flew with spread out of her back, showing it's great wing span and stretching, she groaned softly at the muscle knots that had formed and safely tucked them away. "Fish sticks."

Kyoshi wrapped himself in the filthy blanket he had before and layed down on the ground. With his ear to the floor he heard the sound of movement coming from the apartment. The feet were shuffling here and there. It was doing something and if it was robbers because he already thought Dusk left, they were going to wish they never entered that apartment building in general. Then he thought. 'That stupid human let her in to my floor. I'm going to kill him.' That would be the first order of business but most likely something he would do in the next few years of solitude.

The feet kept shuffling again and he lost his temper and got up, again, to see what the hell was going on. He opened his bedroom door with a slam and looked at Dusk with a glare. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" He asked with his hands on his hips looking at her insanely.

In all honesty, Dusk didn't really care if Kyoshi tried to kill her. At the moment, she was busy. "This place is a mess, filthy. So, I'm cleaning as I think. Better than thinking while walking. That normally leads to walking off cliffs." She continued to clean, still ignoring the man. Yeah...it was his home... but still.
