I think they're getting bored too...but hopefully they'll get excited by the time the Express returns...
what we really need is a Game Master and Dueling Club Instructor (see Entrance Hall announcements)
House Ghosts... well I believe that the event is unofficially on a hiatus. Fall Term usually begins with House Spirit Week and I'm sure the ghosts will return then (along with a few surprises).
Any suggestions on the rest of Summer Term?? I'm sure Adonis will be back by that time or at least in time for Fall Term.

Okay, so just to clarify, I'm suggesting an idea for a new club, to see what people think. So I was on the general HP forums, and there is this really neat thread created by Anika_Strizuki called the Official Harry Potter Riddle Thread. It's kind of like a competition where a Sphinx-like Riddle is posted and then the first person to solve the riddle gets a reward, and then the first person to give the correct reasons also gets a reward. The answers of the Riddles would (naturally) be HP related (i.e. people, spells, animals, potions, plants, items... as long as it isn't vague). So I was thinking that maybe the rewards given out could be House Points or maybe there would be huge competition type thing, and you earn house points for the premliminaries, until it gets whittled down to a one-on-one showdown, and the first of them to solve the riddle would get a special item. And then on the original thread anyone can post a riddle, (after all, you just make it up), but maybe here we would have them submitted to make sure the competition is controlled. I really think that this is something that we could all enjoy, an excellent chance for us to show off our Potter knowledge. Any ideas, suggestions, or opinions are muchly apprecciated (after all, it's what this thread is here for wink ) Thanks Guys!

I love it. It gives us another way to earn house-points and have fun while we use the Slug club name (stupid little ugly guesses anyone lol)? But really I think it's a good thing to have since Dueling Club's instructors get tired of asking so many questions a day.

Okay on the note of the House Ghosts (remember graduation talk is happening here.)
With the start of Fall Term (the date is in September, but not released yet)
we will probably be having House Spirit Week.
Any ideas as to what kind of events to have to celebrate??
The house ghosts' contest will probably end at the end of House Spirit Week (with all the ghosts properly dressed)

What do you guys think of having guild polls? Usually people post their ideas and stuff here but I"m not sure how often members check this subforum. I know everyone checks the main subforum (because it's the first forum they enter)
Like I wanted to know how many members actually visit Towns.

I don't think hardly anyone looks in here unless they're involved in something usually. I think it's a wonderful Idea for the polls. Everyone looks in the main subforum.

I know. O.O I poof up again and it seems like I'm the only one here except you!
House spirit... hmmm... What about a flip-flop? Where the elves mixed up the common rooms (like slytherin is in Hufflepuff colors and so on) and everyone is all mixed up. Students could be accidently mixed up too. And we would all have to work together to get everything all sorted out. Sounded ok in my head... lol let me know if it needs a little more explaining!

I don't think we'd need to go that far... It's just the colors that are mixed up, not the common rooms. Maybe just have a few of us posting in the wrong colors. It's more like the elves took the decorations down over break to clean them and put them back in the wrong common rooms. It's too early for my brain to be functioning right now and I haven't really thought all that far into it, so anyone's ideas or suggestions on this are more than welcome.
Of course we'd need to get the elves involved in it too...

Spirit Week.....
Okay, I was thinking of a decathlon, or what ever those things are called where they ask you questions.
Except about the founders and houses.
So they'd be a team of 5 or 4 members answering questions about the founders or houses, like "What was Salazar's favorite color?"
It would be a way for all the members to learn about the other houses.
Of course, there doesn't have to be teams either.
