Steel Spider let go of the clown's wrist and wrapped that arm around him as well. "The bullets bouncing off of me wasn't enough of a hint?" she asked, trying to squeeze a bit harder. She wasn't sure just how tightly she would be able to squeeze without killing the man, so she tried to take it slowly. This was practice after all. If squeezing didn't work, she could simply wrap him up in her new webbing and try something else.

"You s-still feel p-pain, though..." the clown managed; it was getting MUCH harder for him to inhale.

Prometheus got one cuff off, and began picking the second.

"Now why would you think that?" Steel asked. Well, there seemed to be a definate change now. Heartrate was increasing, and he was having trouble breathing. A little more, but not too hard. This whole 'knocking them out' thing might be easier than she thought.
Though she could have killed this clown the moment she had him...so really killing was much easier.

"You m-m-made a face w-w-w-when I b-bit you..." The Joker could swear that his ribs SHOULD have broken a while ago, so the robo-Spider had to be tasting her own strength, as well as him.

Prometheus finished picking the cuffs, but held them behind his back, making it look like he was still cuffed.

"Well, in another minute or two, it won't matter. Will it?" Steel replied. He was really having a time talking, so it shouldn't be too much longer. At least she didn't think so. This was still new to her.
And she wasn't going to tell him wether she felt pain or not. An enemy didn't need to know such information.

Instead of talking again, the Joker instead opted to try to rip off Steel Spider's lower lip with his teeth.

Prometheus decided now was as good a time as any. He dropped the cuffs and drew his sword again. Then, he dove at Steel Spider and swung his blade at her legs, obviously trying to cut what he could; he heard the conversation between the two of then, so he knew that she was a robot.

His bite did nothing damaging...aside from making the blasted pain recepters go nuts. She grimmaced and became angry. Rather than letting him go, which was her immediate reaction, she tightened her squeeze even more.
Unfortunatly, being focused on Joker, she didn't notice Prometheus. Pain recepters in her legs sparked to life, and she immediately let go of Joker.

Prometheus immediately grabbed the gasping Joker by hooking his sword arm around him, and shot a swing line up to the rooftops with his other hand. In an instant, the two of them were gone.

[enter the Mad Hatter from Home Sweet Home]

Jervis Tetch walked out of his place behaving like a normal person, which, thanks to the hat he was wearing, he pretty much was. He was making his way back to Arkham, to take care of something. Along the way, he stopped at a gift shop, and bought a small box. He could use this as a gift box. It would be VERY useful. As soon as he did that, he made his way to Arkham Asylum. It would be a short visit.

Steel Spider scowled. Both out of pain, and for having Joker been snatched away so easily.

ENTER from New York

A shadow in one of the many alleys of Gotham moved a bit, and Reaper and Gold Star soon rose out of it. Reaper glanced around the alley to make sure no one was around, and not seeing anyone at the present moment, turned and glanced back down at his ‘niece’. She was still out cold…

ENTER from Metropolis

Kenji soon arrived into Gotham City after only a few moments. He paused a moment and glanced around the city. Nothing yet. It would probably take him a while to find Deadpool but surely there was something going on around here.

ENTER from Exodus

A small spark of red light appeared in an alley, and it soon burst to life. Once it died, Rapture stood in it’s place. After a moment, he glanced around the city. He then glanced from a nearby alley, to a store not too far away. Well, lucky. He could take care of both problems here, provided the other didn’t move while he was dealing with one. With that, he started walking.

[enter Solomon Grundy from DC Universe]

A figure began moving in the sewers of Gotham City. He rarely spoke, but he understood what went on around him nevertheless. He was a lost soul of the city above, a man who had once died, but had risen again, though why, and for what purpose, he had no idea. He didn't even know his own name, but DID remember being born on a Monday. A passerby who had heard that recalled a nursery rhyme that involved a man who was born on a Monday. Thus, this man, this lost soul with skin of a whitish-grey, took a new name for himself. "Solomon Grundy; Born on a Monday..."

Flash blinked. "Oh, crap! Well," he continued sheepishly, "You did a really good job. So good that I forgot to watch the guy I was supposed to be watching..." If Batman ended up having to fight Prometheus again, he was never going to hear the end of it. Then again... his helmet was pretty much gone, so maybe there wasn't that much to worry about, after all. "You okay?"

Deathstroke blinked and turned around. "Oh, hello, Superman," he replied calmly, "You'll never guess who I'm working for, now. He sends his regards," he added, his words laced with dark amusement. As he said those last words, he pulled out a rather spectacular chunk of kryptonite, big even by Luthor's standards. It barely fit in his hand.

Right about then, a reverse hook kick sent him spinning into a wall. Batman easily snatched the rock out of the air, keeping his eyes firmly on the unmoving form of his opponent. Idiot. Who takes their eyes off of their opponent in the MIDDLE of a fight, no matter WHO shows up?

As he slipped the kryptonite into the lead lined case on his belt--one which already housed a much smaller sliver of the rock-- he shot a look at Superman. It was a deadpan look that was very difficult to read... unless you had sufficient experience with the original Batman. Then you could guess that it was probably about 50% concern and about 50% irritation. Terry was not particularly fond of Superman in the time that he came from; they were colleagues, of a sort, if only because Terry was a part time member of the JLA, but he was still of the opinion that Superman was incredibly naive, not to mention far too susceptible to mind control. BAD traits in a superhero, and it seemed very likely that these failings were even more prevalent in the past.

In any case, the glance lasted less than a second. Then he was cuffing Deathstroke and checking on Mega Man. How did you medically treat a robot, anyway? He could barely perform maintenance on the suit without screwing something up.

"I'll be fine." Steel replied, turning back towards Flash. "Nothing was damaged. I was built to withstand Alex's claws, a blade won't do much either." she said, then paused a moment. "I failed to knock him out. Was I...really doing alright though?"

Thu-thump. Flash swallowed, his face feeling oddly warm, but when he spoke, it was in his normal, cheerful tone of voice. "Of course. You only were interrupted because I wasn't doing my job. Okay?"

Steel paused a moment, then gave him a small smile. "Alright. I'll try to do it faster next time." she replied.
