Lin had moved from the sitting room back into Dymetri's bedroom when she realized that she could overhear the conversation between the professors when she sat in the sitting area. She didn't want to eavesdrop, no matter how important the subject was to her.
She had just made it back into his bedroom when he had come back into his suite. She looked up at him when he entered the bedroom and had asked her the question. She nodded, wrapping the blanket around herself tighter.
"Very. And I know that you must be, too. I didn't want your healing process being slowed down. That's why I tossed another blanket out to you in the hall, but you don't have it wrapped around you right now."
She took off the blanket that was wrapped around her and wrapped it around Dymetri's frame.

Ialo grimaced slightly at the black flesh. I hadn't forgotten... "It's better if you don't remember. I don't want to remember. But I do. And it sucks, honestly." He slid a finger around his cuff and tugged on his sleeve, pulling it up. Visibly, the curse was small, nothing more than a faint black vine-like tattoo creeping down his hand and up his arm. It was no wonder he wore gloves and long sleeved shirts often. But underneath his skin, the curse ran wild, constantly trying to invade the rest of Ialo's body, and turn him into something he didn't want to be.

Dymetri raised an eyebrow and turned behind him where a rejected towel was preventing the door from closing fully. "Oh." He unwrapped the blanket and put it around her again, covering most of her body with it. "You need it more than I do, little one. I'm cold blooded. I'm used to this feeling." He sat next to her and placed a hand around her shoulders and pulled her against him. His hand slid up to her head, softly carressing her wet hair. He turned his face and kissed her on the top of her head. "I'm fully healed anyway, Lin." After the sentence was spoken, he took a regretful glance at his knee, wondering if it healed. He kicked at the air randomly for his own sake and it responded with a soft click. No, still damaged. She let go of her lid and leaned forward. "It hasn't bothered me, not really. I usually never even feel it. Perhaps there is something here that is making it react," she said softly, a smile on her face. She leaned back, breaking eye contact. "You should be grateful that you have your memories, Ialo. Something to think of rather than the things that haunted me before I even attended the school would be heaven for me.." She returned her gaze to him. "But it's not, and I don't. And it sucks," she whispered, repeating him. "Honestly."

Ialo was silent, thinking about what Luna said. About his curse, and hers. "Perhaps it's because you got away." He glanced at the ice barrier, supplementing it with his own power. "What I wouldn't give to get away from all this crap..." And then, he looked at Luna, trying to meet her gaze. "Out of curiosity, what have you been doing the past five years? Lamenting your past? Holding a job you like, but at the same time, you just wish everyone would vanish?" Ialo was unknowingly recounting his experiences over the past five years.

Her eyes lowered. "Perhaps it's because you have power that it likes." Her shoulders tensed, keeping the barrier solid. His question surprised her, though, tearing a fraction of her concentration away. "I've always wished the people around me would vanish. At least, before I appreciated my memory." She looked at him, wondering if he knew. Scanning her mental files, she realized no. He didn't. "Do you know why I was the only senior whose parents didn't come to pick me up after everyone's parents were informed that their child might die? Do you know why I came in as a lonely, confused girl that usually had nothing to say? Do you know why I didn't expect anyone to compliment me or treat me with respect? Do you want to know?"

"Power that..." Ialo rolled his eyes. He had nothing that other dragons didn't posses. Anyways. He somewhat uncomfortably as Luna began to vent on him. It wasn't a bad thing, it was just that he never knew how to handle emotions very well, and tensed up whenever someone got particularly... passionate, in a sense. And the worst was when people cried. Not that Luna was crying, but Ialo braced himself regardless. "I feel compelled to ask, why."

Luna opened her mouth to speak, and then closed it, shutting her eyes and pressing fingers to her temples. She stood up and walked towards the front door, her ice shattering before she could bump into it. She pushed open the door and ran to the shore, pulling off her clothing and jumping in the water. She felt much less tense this way, with the salt water caressing her skin as she floated.

Ialo stared dumbly after her. He threw his hands up in the air, causing the shards of ice to evaporate before they ever hit the floor. "WHAT THE HELL DID I DO THIS TIME, HUH?!?!" He slammed his head on the table, grumbling rather than chasing after her. He was sick of chasing. He was sick of everything. Maybe he'd kill himself, just to foil Riser's plans. Wouldn't that be a hoot. Let someone else deal with this s**t. No one would miss him anyways. Besides, they were all doomed.
Doomed is right, boy. You better watch your back.

[[Setsuka?]]
She smiled, hearing his shout. "Come here," she called, repeating it to him telepathically. Boy, she should had a few surprises, didn't she. "You should join me, and learn how to actually take a break once one has presented itself to you."

Ialo sighed and stood up, walking out the door to follow Luna. "Later guys. Go have your carnival elsewhere, kay?" As he walked out the door of the coffee shop, he raised an eyebrow at abandoned clothing. Don't think dirty thoughts, don't think dirty thoughts.... too damn busy to think dirty thoughts.... He stood at the shore, gazing at the horizon rather than Luna. "Alright, I'm here. Now what?"
((Yep....))

She laughed, watching his stern position. It just didn't match with the soothing feeling of the water. "Just jump in," she whispered, closing her eyes and turning. "Jump in your apparel or in the nude. Whichever you choose, I'm not looking."

Turning a bright shade of crimson in the face, Ialo crossed his arms and stubbornly turned away. "I'm not getting in the water. Not nude OR clothed. It's freezing, for one thing." What a stupid thing to say. He was a dragon. One that controlled weather no less. What did he care about water temperature? He was immune to almost anything thrown his way.

She turned, opening her eyes and pouting. Such a party-pooper, she thought, until she began wondering about herself. She was able to control ice, she knew that. But the ocean was ice.. just liquid form of it. It was all just water either way. Luna smirked and decided to have Ialo as her test subject. She waved her hand around and concentrated. A thin stream of water squirt Ialo in the face, and Luna was heard giggling behind the water's noise. Her eyes opened in amazement when she made multiple streams squirt him. About eight was drenching him now. Look what I can do! shouted in her mind several times during this process. Now he had to go in the water, at least to finish the job. Luna smiled innocently as the water dropped, her cheeks a soft shade of pink.

Ialo squinted, and shielded his face with his left hand, palm facing outward. "Heads up," he advised her. His hand pushed up and out at empty air, but revealed dragon's eyes that were glowing so brightly that his eyes were almost completely white. He smiled, and his fangs, as well as the claws on his hands were visible. Even white spiraled horns had appeared on his head. The streams of water were diverted as though bouncing off an invisible shield, and the water beneath Luna rose. Two feet, four feet, eight feet, and the dome of water erupted into a cold geyser that shot Luna several feet into the air above the water. He smirked.

She. Screamed. So. Loudly. It sounded like a wailing dolphin and a woman being sexually harassed at the same time. But, coming back down, she had a lot of time to think about how to get him back. She didn't dare look down, though. Phobia of heights always made her vulnerable to SOME situation. But as she neared the ocean again, she sensed Ialo's scent and extended her arms to him as she fell, dragging him along with her into the water. She was completely submerged and swam around Ialo, hoping that her hair would cover the unmentionables. She waited for his head to emerge from the water and then said, "Ha!" like a child. Then blushed fiercely and turned her face from him because she had forgotten that she was nude... again.
