Jaeger_Ayers And the problem isn't my heart, but likely skeletal-muscular. So, more pills which should work along with the current regiment of antibiotics. Not looking to pull a Heath Ledger. Stress test was loads of fun. rolleyes Well, at least it isn't your heart smile Though usually with stuff like that wrong they load people up with like 15 different medications. eek Which is just rediculas.

Would have served me right if it was my ticker. I haven't taken good care of myself. No smart for a guy with no clue as his biological family's medical history. We'll see how I am after I finish this course of meds. If the pain's still there it may be something else.
I have a notion as to the cause, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

I'm a bit worried about my brother in law right now. A few months back he went to the doctors for symptoms he's been trying to find out what's wrong. Each time before they would write it off as something not so serious. Well the last time he went in for coughing up blood and the doctors found out that he has third stage cancer in the lynphods(sp?) of his lungs.
They're unable to radiate the area sense it's behind his ribcage so he's going in for experimental cemo. They say the type of cancer that he has it curable. Though I don't know. Everything i've heard about third stage cancer is that it's really serious and most die from it. My aunt terry died of third stage lung cancer when i was back in high school.
He was informed earlier that because of the cemo he'll never be able to father another child. Though my sister has two children, it hit both of them hard. They weren't warned about that possability so when they tried to freeze it they were unsuccessful.
My sister is putting on a brave face because she has two children. One that is 5 and another one that will turn two a few months before my daughter turns three. They're great kids though I worry. My sister lives on the other side of the us that I don't really know how everything is doing. The times i usually call her is when she's with her children so she can't really talk about it. all i get is "oh everything is fine, don't worry" then i get more information about it later on which says something different.
Though I must say the way they're facing it is most admirable. They call his cancer names and taunt it. Which I guess in that situation you have to find a way to move past the fear and continue to live your lives.
I feel bad sense they're so far away and i'm broke as can be. The not being able to go see her is driving me crazy with worry because on the phone she doesn't want to talk about it. Usually those types of things you can talk about stuff like that better when face to face.
But i'm going to do something unusual, For the strength it's so hard to find in those fearing what may be i'm posting his Music. I'm putting it on Rose's profile as soon as I can figure out how to do it without it coming up as white nothingness for me.
No one has to listen biggrin But if anyone knows how to do it i'd like to know how to put it up!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StY0aVX_5Ykhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjdCv-I5-_Q

Update on the job front:
I'm still in my rotational supervisor role, but one of the Inbound supervisors is leaving at the end of the month, so a position's opened up. The good news is, the feedback I'm getting is that I'm doing an awesome job all around (better than the guy I'm subbing in for) and I'm pretty well-liked by the current supervisor team. My boss has said she'll be pushing for me, and while it'll be a bummer to leave the team I have, who I love, and to have to stop working directly with another supervisor who I adore, it means I'll actually have the job.
Now, just to get it. sweatdrop

stressed stressed stressed
Some of the artists on Gaia seriously need to grow a set. They request something to draw, and after looking at they artwork I came up with a little short comic idea that I though would fit their style. Now they've got cold feet because they don't think they can handle it.
It's not like I "the fleets engage"-ed her. stressed

Any sentence that starts with "The artists on Gaia..." is not going to end well. While I met the people who pushed me to keep going with my art and then pushed me to break every barrier I could throw up before I ever thought of becoming a tattoo artist on Gaia, that's pretty isolated. I dunno how you do it Jaeger, because any time I wander back into where they talk about art on Gaia, it's like Land of the Dead, you have to fight through hoards of undead to get to an enclave of breathing, rational humans.
Anyway, I was closing at the store tonight and my closing barista and I were headed towards the washrooms to change once we were done, and I spontaneously yelled "To the batpoles!"
Then an idea hit me. I have a dear friend back home who is essentially my comic book protege. When I met him he was an enthusiastic but well meaning Geoff Johns fan, so I took him under my wing and turned him loose on Grant Morrison (We3, All Star Superman, Doom Patrol, Animal Man), Garth Ennis (The Boys and The Pro), and the LOSH.
Everything we do, any time we hang out it's completely and utterly saturated in comic related banter. He's even worse than I am for finding superhero analogues for his friends, and so it was quickly determined that during our (mis)adventures, I'm Brainiac 5, and he's Matter Eater Lad owing to my intellect and alleged arrogance and the fact that anything we do always somehow involves finding him food. He's like a hundred and twenty pounds soaking wet, but he eats like a Flash.
So anyway, the idea. Matching tattoos. Batman and Robin sliding down the batpoles. I was dialing his number before I even had my pants up. He's just as excited about it as I am, so I'm going to draw something up and we'll get them done sometime this summer when he comes out to visit. In case you hadn't guessed I'm getting Batman and he's getting Robin.

Must resist....
Can't resist....
SIGGED!!!!! scream
As for dealing with the artists on Gaia, I have found a few that are really quite good. There's some potential there.
Still, even with all the little mangaka wannabes it's not so bad because they shovel zero crap my way. If I give a critique I have the link to my stuff right there which pretty much serves as a giant sign saying "yes, I know what I'm talking".

You didn't mention the hawt gay phone sex you had later either. The whole bit about you never intended it to go that way, but after a misunderstood mention to 'Bat poles', things just got wildly out of hand.

My laptop has been acting screwy lately. The screen would go black, and then it would restart. It got to the point where it would do this before it had even gotten past the loading screen. My friend thinks it's the video card. I took it into Best Buy today. I am so very glad I got the warrantee. This is the second time I've had to have the Geek Squad fix my computer. That warrantee was a great investment.
