Gendis stood as if to answer. "I think so, ma'am. I think he was saying 'I want you all to vape my a** at the soonest opportunity.'" He cocked an eyebrow at Orrin and then shook his head. "No matter. I personally can't wait to see an A-Wing in person. Stupid sims are almost useless..."

Zendia laughed. "Mayhaps some philosophical something or other," she mused. "In any case, let's do our best. We leave in about four and a half hours. In any case, I'm going to get something to eat from the mess hall while we wait," she said.

"I'll gladly join you then," Gendis piped up, strutting to her side and offering his arm. He smiled at her warmly, "I'm famished."

Zendia giggled as Gendis offered his arm. "Sure thing. I imagine we'll all do better with some food in our systems,"

Jakar walked to the hangar and looked at his X-Wing with Shiela. "It seems a little... plain," he said to himself. He looked to his right and saw a mechanic. "Hey," Jakar called out," do we have any paint around here? Paint that can stay on to a ship when it goes through the atmosphere?"
"I believe so," the mechanic said, "let me go check." Jakar leaned against his X-Wing until the mechanic returned. "Here," he said handing the Zabrak pilot a veriety of paint, "this should do it."
"Thanks." Jakar started the front of his X-Wing with purple, black, and blue stripes that appeared to look like flames. But were actually the traditional tatoos of his family that he planned to get on his face. "That looks much better."

Jakar turned around to reply to the question, "The painting? It's a Zabrak family tradition," Jakar explained. "Or, at least with my family. When someone in my family turns twenty, they need to get tatoos on their faces to show that they're from the Sunset family. I know, it's ironic that the colors aren't yellow, orange, and red, but, hey, I don't make up the family traditions. Go figure. Anyway, so obviously I'm going to get my tatoos not too long from now."

"So long as you see to it our unit colors are intact, I'm personally fine with it," Zendia commented. "However, I wouldn't make it too conspicuous, as otherwise, you'll be a big target for TIEs."

Gendis ran his hands over his emerald and beige A-wing, his eyes following each panel line in awe. "This thing's a real beauty..." he muttered. He hit the cockpit hatch panel and hopped into the fighter, aquainting himself with the controls.

"I must admit, it does have nice lines," Zendia said of the A-wing, examining her own X-wing. "Still, I just couldn't be without Rusty," she added, the little primer and rust colored astromech trailing behind her.

Gendis looked over at her and flashed a smile as the cockpit closed, giving a thumbs up. Then he began prepping the ship for launch.

Zendia chuckled with her hand over her mouth at Gendis, before going over to her own ship, with Rusty in tow.
She then climbed the ladder, as a tech prepared to load Rusty into the droid socket.
