Hi, everyone...? XD dreamscape_123- Lucky. My band director's a.... Well, I'd rather not say it, 'cause I think he tries.... ... But I'm one of the last chairs, and it's not my fault. Sure, I would have practiced for the auditions, if I had music/a folder. But no one listened when I said, "I DUN'T HAVE ANY FRIGGIN' MUSIC!" And it took a while to copy someone's, 'cause they were all practicing. o..o AND to top that, I should be several (well, a few, maybe) chairs in front of the people in front of me. They all suck (I have absolutely no idea how I got fourth-last chair), and don't even pay attention, or really care. o..o [/AngryRantToStrangers]

I think it's a sport....b/c we work twice as hard than the football players......but that's just my opinion... I have second to last seat in concert band........Is that really bad?

No worries, I only have 1 too. I would eb a higher chair than i am because I was sitting... sixth of 8 and the guy infront of my ((a 9th grader)) passed the music down to my friend mike, who was sitting 8th, and he got a second part so i had to move down one. Also the band director noticed this so He gave him expirimental 1st parts. and in this one piece that there are 8 pieces, I have 6th, mike has 2nd and the other hone has 4th ((we are all eight graders but we are part of the highschool)). Its not that bad though because I mean My piece is supposed to be really important. Everyone elses fits right in together so they all sound the same, kinda. But my piece goes and makes me play something different. They all move into a rest and I have to keep blasting at Fortissimo playing the low A with 3 triplets, 9eights, 2 sixteenths, 2 quarters and 1 half. It is very hard to stay that low, play that loud, play those notes, and still try to sound good. I keep sounding bad so he says i need more practice, and i do practice but im just going to ask him if I can play the normal A in the staff. Its not that I have bad range, I mean I can play really low peddletone notes all the way up to... F... the one way above the staff... its just hard guys. But i do need more practice.

About half the trumpets in my school pretend to have high ego's but most of is don't.

YES MARCHING BAND IS CONSIDERED A SPORT and don't worry i have the last seat in concert band but i sit next to a very good-looking percussionist/guitar/baritone senior player. I soo wish he was a freshman. then, HE WOULD BE MINE.
