"Lets go get your sister!" Seeing the entrance up ahead made Jayden smile. Not only was he going to help his crush, but he would be like Lorelei and be like a hero.
Wait for me!Aaleah shouted as she ran after her.Being a cub, she would mostly trip and stumble, so she stayed human and ran as fast as she could.
"Of all the s**t that has happened,your yelling about a window?" Raiko asked in disbelief.
Shion sat in the chair across from Kaiko and drank a glass of herbal tea as she waited.
"H-hai." she said as she stumbled to the table and signed up too. "Taichou, are you going to sign up also?" she asked as she handed the clerk her paper and money.

Masato went over to the window upon hearing the shout. Seeing that the girl was falling, he decided to help. How else was he suppose to gain the group's trust, after all. He carefully crawled out the window, and used his wallcrawling power to crawl down the building, to be at the same level as the falling Valkyrie. He jumped off of the building, and grabbed the girl in the air. He then landed safely on the ground with her, courtesy of his enhanced jump skill. He landed in a sort of kneeling position. He let go of Kyumia, allowing her to stand up, then fell on his butt, grunting. He didn't think about his wound; the wind pressure against it as he jumped into the air, and the exertion from landing on the ground, well, lets just say it wasn't a good idea.
Katsuko nodded in response. She opened the entrance door, and went outside. She immediately stopped as she saw Masato there; she expected the worst, since, you know, he helped lock them up. She was confused, and amused, as he fell on his butt. She then saw the gaping hole of a wound. She covered her mouth, and looked away; it was gruesome.
"Well yeah, I have to pay for the cost of repairing it after all. I inherited this house, you know." Mizuki stated as if it was obvious, as she went to the window to hear what was going on outside. "Plus, it gets chilly when the window's are broken." She added as an after-thought.
Kyumia was surprised at Masato's actions, but thankful; and not suspicious at all since she doesn't know he was an enemy. "Thank you." She expressed, then was forced to focus on her wings again as she winced. She wasn't even going to bother trying to take the pieces of glass out of her wings on her own; especially since it hurt like, for the lack of a better word and simplicity, hell. She actually fell onto her knees, wincing at the pain. Her age manipulation immediately reverted her back to her real age, due to the pain. Wings are sensitive, you know.
Kylee was obviously surprised by the question, it showed on her face. After a minute's thought, she sighed. "Alright, I'll join you two." She gave in. She signed up, and handed her paper to the clerk; she would have paid herself, but Maia insisted otherwise.
Maia finished filling out her form, then handed her paper and money for both herself and Kylee to the clerk.

 Taking the money,the clerk threw it into the bag next to her without even counting it. "Thank you for entering Brawlers Pass. Wear this number at all times if you wish to keep fighting. There is no trading badges." she droned on in her monotone voice as she handed them a white pin with the numbers 68, 69, and 70. "Matches are at random. To level up to fight harder opponents you must first defeat five opponents in the level or win three fights in a row; the last fight is beating the leader for that level. For every fight you win you get paid. If you lose five matches in a level, you will go back to the first level, unless you are at level 25 or above, then you go back to level 25. We have 100 levels. Level 100 you fight all the floor masters in a battle royal to be the ultimate master or you pick a level master from the 50th floor and up to fight and you take their level if victorious, if not you have until your fifth defeat and then you go back to level 25. You got all that?" she asked looking at the three women. Without waiting for a reply she continued "Good, door on the left at the end of the hall, last three rooms that match your pin are your rooms. Higher you get,better the pay, better the room. Until level 15 you pay 10% of your winnings for your room and food, etc, etc. Have fun at Brawlers Pass." Looking in horror, Yuzuki ran to the window. Seeing Mato-tan was injured worse, she scaled down, as best she could and ran over to him. "Mato-tan no baka."she said as she lightly hit his head. "Wat were you thinking!? Let me try and heal you ok?" Jayden looked a bit green seeing Masato's wound, but being a boy he was also curious about it and wanted a closer look at it...maybe even get to touch it too. Instead he grabbed Katsuko and started going around the two so they can be on their way to Kaiko.Raiko smirked and let out a breathy chuckle. "Ok, well we might as well go since everyone is gone now." He watched the backs of the last two children disappeared to join the others.

Masato let out a soft chuckle, wincing after a second because, you know, it hurts to laugh. "Obviously I wasn't thinking about the wound." He looked at Yuzuki with a boyish grin, "You're going to try to heal me whether I want you to or not, so there's no point in arguing about it." He said, seeming oddly cheerful.Katsuko followed Jayden, taking the lead after a few seconds. She wasn't very concerned about someone she doesn't know, and someone who helped lock her up, being hurt. After a few steps passed the three, she and Jayden are suddenly flung back by the wind.Kyumia had used her power over the air to attempt to force the two back. She looked at them with an angry-ish expression, but also pained. "You're very rude, I hurt myself trying to stop you two." She paused to wince in pain. "Don't just go off on your own. You could get yourselves killed." She winces again.Lorelei stopped when she got outside. She shifted into Human form again. She glared at Jayden, letting Kyumia said what she wanted to say. "She's right, Jayden. We're travelling together, and staying together. I'm looking after you three, after all; you know better than to leave without me." She spoke in a stern tone.Mizuki held up her hand, and teleported the two of them down there in a blue crystallized light. Listening to what's going on, she gathered that Kyumia got glass in her wings and that's why Masato jumped to save her. "So she not only broke the window, but she got glass from the windows stuck in her wings. That's nice." She said sarcastically. She sighed. She suddenly grabbed Raiko's hand, leading him over to Kyumia. She would let go of his hand, and pointed at the Valkyrie's back/wings. "Help her get the pieces of my window out of her wings. I can't see to do so, I'd probably just hurt her."Maia put her pin on; she got the number 70. She went through the door on the left, and went down the hall, expecting the other two to follow. She stopped in front of the door that matches her pin, then looked at the other two. "Do you have any questions about what exactly we're doing?"Kylee put her pin on; she got the number 69. She followed Maia through the door and down the hallway. She did have a question or two, but she instead looked to Katerina, to see if she had any questions that she wanted to voice.

"Obviously!" Yuzuki shouted. Seeing him chuckle, Yuzuki gently slapped Masato on the back of his head. "This is no laughing matter." she said as she slowly started to heal him."I'm sorry Kyumia got hurt, but, but we need to save Kaiko! Stop treating me like a baby! I can take care of myself Lorelei, I'm not stupid!" Jayden shouted upset at his chance at being with Katsukobeing taken away. Aaleah stood quietly behind Lorelei as she frowned at her brother.Raiko nodded and gently started to pull glass out of Kyumia if she was willing. Hearing the argument, Raiko chuckled. "Looks like he took my idea to man up seriously."Katerina put on her 68 button and shook her head. "We fight, we win, we level up, we get money." Thinking she suddenly did have a question. "What if we did lose 5 times before we beat the first level, you by chance, what happens? And can we leave the building to do whatever? Places like this usually don't allow stuff like that."

Kyumia spread her wings out as much as she could to make it easier for Raiko to pull out the pieces of glass. She winced in pain each time he pulled a piece out. She sighed. "I'm starting to wonder why I wanted to join you three." She stated, obviously not caring whether they heard or not. She turned her head slightly to address Raiko and Mizuki, "Thank you, both of you; you are kinder than my sisters back home."
At this point, the power she has little control over actived, and her strong emotion of doubt and loneliness would be projected onto((or into whichever's proper)) others.Mizuki blushed slightly upon hearing Kyumia's praise; she turned her head away, and rubbed her arm. "There's no reason to thank me; I just want the pieces of my window back... Can't fix the window without it's pieces y'know..." She said, kind of mumbling. Though obvious at this point, she doesn't feel the effects of Kyumia's powers, due to her psychic shield.Masato stifled a laugh, and shruged his shoulders. He didn't pay much, if any, attention to the emotions that were being projected on him, because of the strong emotions he already had due his wound. "Even so, if not laugh, what do you expect me to do?" He replied. The wound being open and unattended for so long had caused him to lose a lot of blood; this caused him to be dizzy and want to react to it the way he instinctively would pain, but he had been forcing himself not to.
The wound was so big, it couldn't be completely healed with just one magical healing session. Yuzuki's healing magic is, however, strong enough to heal it. Her magic starts healing his wound, first by repairing, and/or recreating, if/as neccessary, the damaged parts of his organs.Lorelei gave Jayden a stern glare. She shook off the effects of the projected emotions by using her emotion manipulation powers. She did the same for Aaleah, just in case it being projected on her too. "Are you sure about that? Because the way you're acting makes me think otherwise. Or have you forgotten about my powers? Or the fact that she's being held captive by one of the most wanted people alive, whom has managed to elude even the most prestigious paladin organization in the entire world for at least a decade, and is after the both of you as well? If you haven't, going off just the two of you is extremely stupid."Katsuko's eyes widened after Lorelei spoke. She was right, after all. Katsuko was bringing Jayden with her to a possible death trap. She felt horrible as she realized that. She attempted to slyly move her hand out of his grasp. Surpringly, she was not affected by Kyumia's projecting emotions; she already had the strong emotion of loneliness, and the other strong emotions she was feeling basically blocked out the projecting emotions, though she did feel doubt upon hearing Lorelei's words. She would then close her eyes, focusing to transform only her elbows and knees just enough so that she can use her wings. It was her first time doing this with her wings matured as much as they are, so she wasn't sure if she could do it, and still fly; as such, she was focusing hard and can't do what she's intending to until the next post."Well, it's impossible for that to happen to me, but the answer is simple. You would have to start level one from the beginning, and maybe pay the entrance fee again. If you lose five battles in level one multiple times over, after a certain number you would be disqualified." Maia answered in her usual condescending monotone, "After so many matches, you are forced to take a break, at which point you must spend some time in your room, but if you have time left after the required minimum time spent in your room, you may go and do whatever you like for the rest of the time, as long as you are back and ready for the next match by the time the break is over." She paused to breath, because, you know, that's neccessary, "Any other questions?"

Ghostclaw was walking cautiously along the outskirts of a town, his little sister, Starlight, riding on his back. They didn’t know where they were and they didn’t know what to do. Little Starlight was scared to death as she rode on her brother’s back, tucking her nose into her brother’s shoulders. The two of them had been through enough to tear most animals down. First they lost their parents, due to poaching, and then they were taken from their home in Africa and dragged to wherever they were now, and dumped. Ghostclaw’s eyes shifted around warily, taking in everything, watching for any movement. He was normally on edge and after everything that had happened to his family and being taken so far from home, having to escape the humans that tried to kill him and his sister; he was even more wary and on edge.
Starlight curled against her brother’s shoulder’s keeping a grip with her front paws so that she wouldn’t fall off. She was scared to death, but felt safe with her brother there with her, to protect her. After the loss of their parents, Starlight grew very quiet, scared of everything that moved; especially humans, humans that harmed animals or that had those boomsticks that killed her parents and that had somehow only knocked her and her brother unconscious. Whatever had happened traumatized her and she wished that things would go back to normal; yet after seeing her parents’ lifeless bodies and the bodies of other siblings and kin, it seemed that those images would be forever etched into Starlight’s mind.

Kaiko was dropped off a bit away from the outskirts of the village, so that no one actually saw how she got there. Her eyes lacked their normal kindness as she stared at the ground, dragging her feet along. Eventually she came across the two dogs. She was blocked from their sight by a tree in front of her. She heard their footsteps in the wind.
She peeked out from behind the tree after she could hear the footsteps better. Her eyes immediately lit up. "Ohh! Cute little dogs, with powers, too!" She exclaimed, running over to them. She sat on the ground, using the air to stop her from hitting the ground with a thump, thus ending up blowing her dress a bit from under her.
"What's you're name? I'm Kaiko! Are you lost? Or were you taken from your home, too?" She immediately started asking questions, sounding like her usual over-friendly, over-kind, and over-trusting self.

Ghostclaw had heard someone coming because he had above average senses, so he was already taking a defensive stance, readying himself for a fight. However, when he saw a girl coming and seeming ecstatic at the sight of him and Starlight he relaxed; but only a little. Listening to the girl his head lifted and his ears faced forward. He could understand the girl enough to know what she was asking. "I'm Ghostclaw," he grunted in reply, suspicion lacing his tone. His human-speak was a bit gruff and had a hint of a dog-like growl to it, but he didn't purposely talk like that. "And this is Starlight." His head tilted back to his sister. "Poachers got the rest of our family. Don't know what they were planning for us." Every word that was spoken was filled with caution. He didn't know this girl and he didn't know if she was friends with the poachers or not. True, she seemed friendly enough; yet that didn't eliminate his suspicion.Starlight jerked her little head up, her eyes filled with fear as she looked at Kaiko. She couldn't really make out anything that the girl was saying and that scared her. She heard her brother speaking and she started relaxing, feeling that they might be safe. However, she heard the caution in his voice, so she wasn't going to fully let her guard down; not if her brother wasn't.

Kaiko stared at the two for a few seconds, confused as to why Ghostclaw responded for the both of them. After a bit, she realized. "Oh! You don't need to talk like that." She spoke, smiling kindly. She cleared her throat before she spoke again, but this time she spoke like a dragon; and every animal can understand a dragon's tongue should the dragon allow it. "See, I'm not a human. I can understand you regardless." She smiled proudly. "That's terrible. I'm sorry for your loss..." Her eyes saddened and her gaze shifted towards the ground, "A fire killed my family... My sister saved me. She said she woke up to the fire, but I never believed that. She didn't even try to save anyone else; she must've known that it was too late already." She over-shared, in a sad tone.

Ghostclaw's ears perked up as he heard Kaiko speaking to him, saying that he didn't need to talk the way that he was. He was confused a little; he didn't know why he didn't need to talk the way he was to a human. Although, he figured that the girl wasn't really human, considering he guessed that any normal human would have freaked out by now. When he heard her speaking like a dragon his eyes got wide, compared to their suspicious, narrowed look before. His ears flattened at the girl's words, not wanting her sympathy; yet he knew that Starlight might need it. "That's bad... I can control fire, but I wouldn't use it to hurt anyone; unless they were trying to hurt my sister. Then I would burn them to a crisp." he barked, sounding much kinder than when he'd been using his limited human-speak.Starlight crawled off her brother's back and tottered over to Kaiko. "That's awful... Big Brother saved me from the people that killed Momma and Papa.... There wasn't anything that he could do to save anyone else...." she yipped, her big ears lowered as she thought of the family that she'd lost.

Kaiko offered a soft smile at the two. "You two are so nice." She paused, "If you don't have anywhere to go, then would you like to come with me? Me and my sister can be your new family!" She exclaimed the last part excitedly. "And recently we've been traveling with a bunch of people, so it's like one biig family!" She made an over-exaggerated motion with her hands to emphasize big, and let out a small giggle.

A sigh came from Ghostclaw as he heard Kaiko. He didn't like huge groups of strangers and he didn't knowif he wanted to have his baby sister in a group of strange people or animals or whatever they were. "You're sure they'll accept us? I don't want to have my sister get her hopes up." he said, in human-speak, so that his sister wouldn't be able to understand him properly. "I would hate to see her think that she'll have a new family and be crushed if they don't want us there.""Grrrrr.... What's he saying...? I can't understand everything that he's saying... Is he talking about me? What's he saying?" Starlight yipped, wanting to know why her brother wasn't speaking so that she could understand him. She knew that he was very protective of her, but she felt that she would be able to handle hearing what was said. "Come on... tell me!"

Kaiko looked in front of her with a blank stare. After a bit, she remembered the situation her and the others are in. She opened her mouth, as if about to say something, but she quickly closed it again. She remembered what Shion had said, and was worried if retracting her statement would be too suspicious. Her smile turned into a frown once again, then, after a bit longer, she finally spoke. "On second thought, it's probably not the best idea for you to join us. I wouldn't want to put you in danger..."
