"Psh, don't make me laugh, I can drink you under the table anyday."
This was, of course, a bold-faced lie. It wasn't even a good lie, and they both knew it. Considering Ridley's size, there were very few people who could probably drink the muscular boy under the table, and even fewer who could boast they also weighed less. Liam wasn't a lightweight, to be sure, but there was only so much 'skill' and tolerance could do for him. So instead he boasted and joked and smash-talked, pretending to cover up what they both knew, as if it were a game.
"Lightweight," he added, just to make it more hilarious.

I chuckled at the Dragonite's willingness to demand more and shrugged. "Hang on, I have to go get the rest of the vegetables. Glad you like it. Wasn't sure the dietary requirements of dragons included vegies." I hummed and made my way back to my pack to drag out the foods and the knife again, dragging along three different bags of dried meat. "Beef, pork, or pidgey?" I asked, indicating the bags in turn.

Ridley laughed outright at Liam's teasing. "Them are some fightin' words, pretty boy," he grinned at him, nudging him with his elbow as he pulled out the handle of vodka and the shot glass, filling the cap and using it as a second shot, handing one to Liam. "What game should we play this time?" he quirked an eyebrow at him, his eyes on the healer's. Liam might be shorter than him, but he was still filled out, and he knew that the Joy relative had a high tolerance. He knew he would win, they both knew that, but it wasn't the destination but the journey that tempted the youthful Rocket, though the destination implied something that Ridley would enjoy wholeheartedly as well.
"You'd lose Never Have I Ever. Maybe we should do Truth or Dare?" he smirked.

Snookie become more alert at the word veggies and glanced down at the veggies that was in the bag and gagged, shaking his head rapidly. His attention turned to the protein and frowned a little. He didn't like meat either but it was better than veggies. After a moment of thinking he pointed at the beef. "Booow booow~!"
Kayla laughed. "You should have kept quiet about those 'veggies'. I have a hard time making him eat his and now he won't touch the stirfry with veggies in it." Happily eats her bowl in a steady pace.

 Before too long another voice caught her attention. "Aw, look at that Arcanine! It's so pretty..." Lynne didn't mean to get all googly-eyed over the Pokemon, but being a new trainer and having a fondness over canid ones, she couldn't help it. Tauros looked in the same direction, not seeming to be all too amused.
As if on cue both of their stomachs growled. Too worried about being lost, the idea of eating had never come across their minds until now. Dismounting her temporary Pokemon she starting digging into a bag strapped onto him to look for food, but once she noticed the Arcanine's trainer spotted her too she waved. "Uh, hi there!"

((Aaaah, finally caught up. :'D 'Grats to the Swablu winners!

Mina woke to a shrill whinny and she blinked up blearily, blocking her eyes from the blinding sun. She looked around, for a moment completely lost until she remembered last night's events. Stumbling up (much to Anala's relief. The Ponyta stood and shook herself before going a bit away to chew on some grass), she found a blanket had been put on her and her things had been neatly put away. She felt a pang of guilt for leaving Alexa to do the work, having dozed off and all, and appreciation, too.
Packing away all of her things, she looked around for the trainer but was unable to find her. What she did find was a swarm of Swablu, who had been promptly caught and the items they took retrieved before they were on the move again. She had to stay with her group as they traveled and could see no sign of Alexa's Arcanine (or even Saspra's Shadow).
Before she could contemplate about it for too long, sounds of falling rocks reached her ears and she looked up to see a rock slide heading straight for them. Instantly Anala turned and fled to safety, returning only once the rocks had settled to help the other Pokemon clear the way. A few trainers had gone on ahead to investigate, but Mina had chosen to stay to give Anala a rest and resume her search.
She was picking a few berries during her search when a cry came up, and she saw the Lugia from the day before return with an injuired man. She bit her lip, worried. It seemed each day on the trip brought along more injured -- Pokemon and people alike.
"Hey!" she suddenly called, having spotted Alexa (ironically, only once she had finally stopped looking for the trainer to scan the area for any more happenings). She ran up to the female while taking out the blanket and offered it to her once she reached her. "Thanks for... yesterday." She had been about to say "last night" but realized at the last moment how awkward that would have sounded.
"You caught one of the Swablu?" she asked, noticing the sleeping Pokemon perched on Alexa's shoulder and lowering her voice. Suddenly, an loud cry of "People!" could be heard, and she turned to see who it was.

"I might as well chug the bottle if we play Never Have I Ever. Truth or dare," he agreed, remembering their escapade from last night. They hadn't really gotten a chance to continue, but at the rate it had been going, it hadn't been promising in Liam's favor. It had already been difficult not to find something that he had to drink with too -- he'd had to resort to the leather jacket, and that was a close one. He'd gotten pretty darn close to stealing Ridley's several times.
Staring down at the clear liquid in the cap, Liam leaned back, resting his weight on one palm, blue eyes lifting back up to his friend.
"When do we drink, though? It's not really a drinking game, unless you dare the other person drink."

Ridley shrugged out of his leather jacket, kicking off his boots and settling back in his jeans and a thin wifebeater, cupping the shot glass in one hand and grinning at Liam. "I think you have to drink if you don't want to tell the truth or complete the dare. But you're right," he shrugged. "Let's just keep doing shots until one of us can't do another one." His eyes twinkled, amused by the idea. "No throwing up though."

Alexa waved back at the trainer by the Tauros. "Hey there! I see that I'm not the only one to arrive late. Had to chase Vincent down." She patted her Arcanine gently, "I'm Alexa. If you want you can eat with me....." She then heard someone else calling out to her and spotted Mina walking over. "Hey Mina. Thanks. I didn't want to just take the blanket from you when I woke up and packed up. Figured we'd run into each other again." She said grinning. She took the blanket back and set it on a pack. "I'm about to make some food. Care to join me? And yeah I got super lucky. First throw and I caught him. I'm calling him Stribog."
Vincent looked at the girl by the Tauros and wagged his tail. He then nosed Alexa to get her to feed him faster. Meanwhile from all the loud calling Stribog woke up from his perch on Alexa's shoulder. "BLU!" He didn't like being woken up.

I giggled at the Dragonite and made my way back to the fire, chuckling, and starting to cut up the vegetables. "Well, 'Snookie', might I ask what you thought the little orange medallions were in your bowl, or did you even stop to look? You just ate a whole bowl of veggies without even thinking about it." I grinned softly. "And it looked to ME like you liked it, UNTIL you knew what it was. Which is pretty close-minded. My sister used to think that way... Well... Still does, to my knowledge... But... All the same. I'm not giving you just the meat. It's all or none, buddy." I grinned and started cutting veggies into the wok, setting the water bottle nearby for when I got to the meat. "So... Which'll it be?"

 Lamen was sitting inside her tent- fire would attract mosquitoes, and she was a favored target of theirs. Indoors, she could enjoy a meal in piece. Pulling out a large ball of what appeared to be tinfoil from her bag, she proceeded to unwrap it. Inside, an airtight box and an ice block. In the airtight box,- ...nothing.
WHERE IS MY FOOD. "Aha. Haha." So that's why Donut had disappeared. He didn't even NEED to eat. Why would he... no, he was probably doing this to tease her or something.
She came out of the tent and was unintentionally thinking of the Tauros as rather delicious-seeming despite herself. It must've sensed something in her gaze, because it backed away. Lamen grinned. "Sorry, kid." She walked past it, but not before patting his back a few times.
She approached the nearest group of people. "Er, has anyone seen a silver Gengar?" Asked the androgyne.

"You're a jerk! That's gonna be me and you know it," came the reply, giving Ridley a long look before tipping the glass up, poking his chest with the cap of the bottle. "How about... for every turn, we drink. So ask me a question. Make this fun."
Kicking off his own shoes, the healer pulled off his vest, tossing it onto his backpack and leaning back against the rock, pink ponytail tossed over one shoulder lazily, contrasting greatly with the tight black shirt. The crackling fire cast dancing shadows and a faint glow on the pair, barely dimming the stars flickering over head -- out here, where there was no light beyond their own campfires and the ponyta's tails. It was peaceful, and even the voices had simmered down, most people asleep by now, the others talking in low voices to not disturb anyone.

Snookie scowled. He didn't really listen to the story but he got that he would have to choose between eating the veggies or nothing at all from this human. "Bow~!" Snookie tossed the empty plastic bowl in the direction of human that was making him choose before sitting there and pouting, his back turned away from the fire.
Kayla chuckled and sighed. "He's a stubborn one. It's not like he needs the extra..." Kayla whisper. "handles."

Ridley just grinned, pure innocence, and held up his hands defensively when he was poked in he chest, nodding at Liam's suggestion. "Just questions, or can we do dares, too?" he smirked, a hint of a challenge in his tone. He watched the healer get settled, stretching back even more, feeling peaceful in the quiet moment, and he fingered his shot, looking at the clear liquid, watching the flames lick the dark air through it.
"Hmm. A question..." Ridley looked up at the sky, thinking. "Did you flirt with that girl?" he quirked an eyebrow at him, grinning.

Mina grinned back and replied with a sheepish smile. "If you don't mind having me for dinner two nights in a row!"
She looked over Stribog, petting him soothingly. "That's a cute name," she commented, petting the Swablu soothingly. She admired the soft, subtle shades of light blue that decorated the feathers around his face and stomach and poked his beak playfully.
"Hello," she called to the trainer that arrived, waving back.
((Blarg, sorry for the messed up times. @ _@ -pretty sure Lynne came before Mina did- Will get better as I go along, hopefully.))
