[I slowly limped into camp, my head dizzy. Miraclesky was carrying the unconcious Hawkblaze behind me. I shuddered and collapsed on the ground, my flank heaving.
Ah...stupid Fathom...if he hadn't bit me, I'd be f-fine... I thought hazily.
I twitched my tail, panting, and squinted around.]
"Moonblaze," I whispered, looking for the white she-cat.
__________________________________ I will wait for you, as thunder waits for its beloved lightning.
Adventure awaits us! Let us travel the world, and see new wonders together!

Left there to look at you.══════════════════════════════════════════[Cinderstreak stopped, suddenly scenting blood, followed by a dull thud. He hissed. Was somebody hurt?
Cinderstreak padded out of Moonblaze's den, his ears flattening when he saw Thunderflight motionless on the ground, Miraclesky and an unmoving lump of fur behind her. He quickly glanced back into Moonblaze's den.] "Moonblaze, Thunderflight and Hawkblaze are hurt," he meowed unnaturally calm.══════════════════════════════════════════You better stand tall,
When they're calling you out.
Don't bend, don't break,
Baby don't back down.

I am afraid.══════════════════════════════════════════ [Miraclesky laid Hawkblaze very delicately on the ground. Her blue eyes were serious for the first time in a very long time, and she was very...sober. Looking a bit sad, morelike. She gingerly gavehis ear a lick, then turned to Thunderflight, a distant look in her tired blue eyes. All energy and kitlike playfulness had vanished. There stood a defeated, tired, emotionless cat, looking her friend in the eyes.]
"What can I help with?" Miraclesky asked in a hoarse voice, hollow with disappointment.
[If only I had gotten there sooner.... Hawkblaze wouldn't be unconscious and Thunderflight would be fine... Miraclesky thought despairingly. A sudden throb in her neck stabbed at her. The ginger she-cat winced, closing her eyes against the pain.]
(( Sorry I was gone, guys! I was riding in a parade with my horse today and spent all day yesterday getting ready! And then, my horse and I went SWIMMING! We got into our pond, at our BBQ, and she did it! The first time ever, and she was the only one out of 4 who did it! 8DD )) ══════════════════════════════════════════When push comes to shove,
You taste what you're made of.
On your knees you look up,
Decide you've had enough.
You get mad, you get strong.
Wipe your hands, shake it off.

[Brightspirit forced a smile]
"Of course!"
[Brightspirit padded out of camp with the three apprentices at her tail. She jogged slightly, wanting to see if they could keep quiet and stay close to her. Brightspirit jumped over a log and disappeared into some bushes, before turning around and coming back out, making them skid to a halt]
"Shush. Now watch"
[Brightspirit turned and slowly sank down onto her haunches, her tail drooping downward with her]
"Now Whisperpaw. Remember, don't have your tail sticking up in the air like a tree. Prey with notice it right away. Make soft steps when stalking a mouse, they can feel your paws moving on the forest floor, but rabbits can feel the swish of your fur as is brushes against things"
[Brightspirit slowly creeped forward, lightly putting on paw infront of the other. Ahead was a mouse, quietly nibbling on a seed. But a shadow was overlooking it. A small eagle slowly swooped down and picked the mouse up with it's mouth. Brightspirit jumped and landed on it's back, biting down hard on it's neck, and then slowly descending to the groun]
"Two pieces of fresh-kill, one bite"
[Riverfang watched his mate leave, then turned and got some prey from the pile. He sat down, chewing thoughtfully. Brightspirit would be a great mentor. So would he. Where was Fadingkit? After finishing his vole, Riverfang stood up, and went to search for Fadingkit]
"Fadingkit?"

[Fadingkit's head came up slowly. The small kit had been resting in the bushes along the edge of camp. She flicked her ears and glanced around the camp. The she-cat spotted Riverfang and stood up.]
"Yes Riverfang?"

Moonblaze"No thanks Cinderstreak, it'll be faster if I do this myself." she mewed apologetically hoping she hadn't hurt his feelings in any way.
She was aware that Cinderstreak had dashed away and back but she was frozen in her spot.
It was like the world paused itself or at least went mute for a second but Moonblaze only heard one thing, "Moonblaze,"
She turned her head and time was itself again.
She was just in time to hear Cinderstreak mew, "Moonblaze, Thunderflight and Hawkblaze are hurt,".
"I know." she mewed and dashed away hoping Cinderstreak hadn't seen the stricken look on her face.
The herbs dangled dangerously in her mouth as she anxiously ran towards her friends.
"Thunderflight! Miraclesky! Hawk..." she shouted dropping the herbs as she saw the lump of brown fur on the ground.
Swallowing the growing fear in her throat she forced herself to stay calm.
"What happened and have the both of you sustained serious injuries?" she asked carefully taking a step towards the trio.

[I panted, trying to clear my mind.]
"Fathom," I said pointedly, "bit us."
[I nodded to the large bite mark on my neck that was making it hard to breathe, then over at Hawkblaze's similar wound.]
"Hawkblaze....killed him...but only one life...but Fathom, got him good..."
[I closed my eyes, pain clouding my face. The hole in my neck burned. I let out a wheezy sigh.
I'm always getting hurt, I thought, half-concious.]

I am afraid.══════════════════════════════════════════ [Miraclesky felt her neck wound lessen in pain, and she focusd on recounting the events. She touched her tail tip to Thunderflight's shoulder, then opened her jaws to speak.]
"Fathom attacked them. We chased him to the river, where Thunderflight and Hawkblaze followed him in. I think Hawkblaze is okay, but he could have swallowed too much water," Miraclesky mewed, her tone surprisingly sober.
