When Chris passed by Arzol and proceeded to make comments that amused Danni to no end, Arzol, Dunstall, and Gambit bared fangs, their eyes turning blood red as their pentagrams glowed. "Do you have any idea who you're talking to, punk?" Arzol demanded in a hiss, while Danni casually dropped an arm around Chris's shoulders, pulling him over towards her.

"Hey, thanks....um...you." She said, having no clue what his name was. "Now, Arzol, you can't blame the man for speaking the truth. We wouldn't want to...cause a scene, now would we?" She said, her eyes flashing dangerously as her hand almost imperceptibly tightened on the boy's shoulder.

Arzol scowled, though his eyes gradually went black again. "You and your...friend...woud do well to mind your tongues, Shadow Runner. I'd hate to tell the Dark Lord you're abusing your rights as a dark sorceress." He said threateningly, and Danni laughed in his face, angering him again. "Oh please, I stopped obeying him the night he sent you and your demon buddies out to kill me. I practice on my own now, and you'd do well to remember that I hold in my possession the Sword of the Ancients. One wrong move against my safety, and it's now within my rights to defend myself accordingly." She said, and was pleased by the flash of unease in the eyes of the three demons.

"Or have you forgotten, the three of you, that on more than one occassion, you've been at the mercy of my summoning spells?" She asked, cocking her head to the side, her hands in her pockets. "Watch yourself, Shadow Runner. You're no longer following under the Dark Lord, so it is within our rights to deal with you accordingly. If not for interferance that night, your head would be mounted on the Dark Lord's wall." He said, and she just rolled her eyes, though her insides still went cold when she remembered how she'd felt herself dying on the ground that night, with her family standing over her.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night." She said nonchalantly, then glanced at her watch. "Well, it's been a pleasure talking to you, but I have to get to class. You, uh, boy, it's been a pleasure insulting these three with you. Maybe I'll see you around." She said to Chris, then with a quick wave of her hand was gone in a cloud of black smoke. Arzol merely glared at the spot where she'd been, hating that she'd gotten in the last word.

"See ya fruit loops" Chris gave a chuckle as walked away "man never knew demons could look that stupid in black." He walked a few passes grabbing a black coat off a hanger and put it on. "I gotta find the chuck hall." He said as a eye floated past him.
It turned to him then turned towards a door "It's right there."
"Thanks ... eye ... thing."
"Your welcome."
The eye floated past and Chris went into the cafeteria.

Ialo was shaking with anger. "I hate you, and I hate him, and I'm pretty much hating the whole. ********'. Magical. World right now." He wasn't really in the place to say anything though. He had been seconds from blowing the building up earlier before Luna came along. "You..... fine. I'll do it."

Tonight.... Ialo felt awfully compelled to charge in there that very second and blow up the entire place, just to get it over with, but he had to much time and knowledge invested in there to completely destroy everything. He sighed, in part from relief that his curse no longer pained him for the moment, and in part because he had... actually.... decided to help Riser. "... And then you'll leave me, the school, and the students alone?"

Ialo slowly sat back down, just realizing his hands were shaking. "Just wait, just wait, I'll have my revenge," he muttered darkly. Unconsciously, he began to rub his right wrist. "This day can't get any worse."

She wiped away her bored face throughout their entire discussion. "Would you like to bet on that?" she asked tonelessly.
Luna was always in constant confusion and she never knew why, until now. She was merely a pawn, only used when needed, and since her opinion didn't matter, it wasn't needed for their plan to stop the whatever from blahblahing the gah.
She really needed to pay attention more. Luna turned her face to Ialo, her face in her hand and took a last sip of her drink. "I s'pose I shouldn't have practically dragged you here. I think that little incident just made your nerves worsen." Luna then noticed him rubbing his wrist.
"Does it hurt?" she asked, pointing.

Dymetri could tell by the look of the old dude's face that he lost someone very important to him. And he just reminded him of it. He placed a hand upon his shoulder. He was actually pretty attractive.
"Listen. I'm probably as old as you are. Perhaps even older. And I know that once you've found something, someone, that it's hard to let go once they move on, no matter how long you've existed. There's some deep shi-- things going on right now that probably isn't even within our control, unless my inner vampire acts up. You, being what you are, probably knows the capability I have as one of the last remaining ancient vampires. If there isn't at least twelve older than me, I could be an Elder, and I'm able to destroy many things without question."
He pointed to the partially closed doorway leading to his room where Lin was. "That student of yours is giving me a break. I feel ridiculous just speaking to her because I'm the Professor, and it feels like she's teaching me about the one subject I should know-- myself. I'm not trying to make this go further than the student/teacher relationship," he held the fraction of a sentence in the air, using it to show that he meant it.
Which he didn't.
"And being a vampire, I have physical aspects that naturally attract beings, so if she begins to think like, most likely, the rest of the female student population.. She just might have a few dreams about me."
He dropped his hand and walked behind him into his room to find Lin. "I just want you to understand that everyone needs someone to care for," he called to Ophiuchus from inside.
He fully turned his attention to Lin, who was now in front of him. "Hey," he said, his voice softer. "You cold?"
Such a stupid question. But a great conversation starter.

Luna rolled her eyes and waved the pointing hand in the air, as if smacking an unseen bug. Suddenly an ice shield formed around them, no sound able to be heard from within or from outside. In the meantime, Luna created a small ice ball and began playing with it with one hand. She looked at Ialo and continued with her childish game. "As I was asking.." Her voice seemed to echo within the barrier. "What's wrong with your wrist?"

She continued staring at him, as if he was searching for his glasses for a week and he just noticed they were on his head the entire time. "I regained the ones that you had with me because of the glove, Ialo. Everything that happened between me and you, well mostly everything, I remember."
She looked at the ice ball she was spinning across her knuckles like a painting she made but wasn't quite happy with the outcome. "I suppose it's to keep me in check." She turned back to him with a smile. "Although it wouldn't make sense if I had fire powers. I'm terrified of fire."
She wondered about his wrist for a bit and her eyes lightened as if a lightbulb turned on above her head. "I have it too, y'know.." she whispered, destroying her ice ball with a crush and pulling down her lower lid with a finger to reveal a black inner lid. "Everyone always forgets about me."
