It appeared that while the people around him were getting better at what they did, Minoru was getting worse. He took note of the new kid who seemed to be followed by some form of ice. He even fell onto the ground as it formed around his feet. If he learned to control it he'd be pretty formidable to say the least. Minoru also noted that he was talking with the girl who had been turning herself into a tree. It must be very hard to manage your body when you were made of wood. At least she wasn't too bad looking for someone who covered herself in black. He had seen a plague victim who had done that once, and he hoped that she wasn't spreading contagion around. It didn't matter either way; Minoru had to complete his training so he could move on and get closer to graduating eventually. Before he could do that however, he had to finish these hand signs. Relaxing and determined to take as much time as was needed to finish this assignment, he attempted the "Boar" sign again.

Minoru really had to stop looking at other people and begin really focusing on his training. He was too carefree, too busy taking in the things around him instead of focusing on what was important. His years spent wandering with his family had given him a relaxed attitude towards life. If you didn't like something or somewhere, you didn't do anything with it or go there. Now that he was in a town he had to tackle his problems head on instead of just avoiding them. He couldn't avoid training, not if he wanted to become a ninja. It seemed that all ninjas did was train and do missions. Minoru wondered if ninjas that weren't part of clans were allowed to have families and things of that nature. He didn't know how they had time to do it though with all the other things that got in the way. Not to mention the fact that having a wife or child would cause them to be targeted by your enemies. They would be a liability to you, thus causing you more pain than happiness. Maybe if Minoru found a girl who was also a ninja, that would cut down on the problems but that was a long time away, and it wasn't necessary to think about it now. He had to focus on this Jutsu so he could move on with the rest of his class.

cyborg902 ((enter)) Moku walked into the field with Sorali behind him. “ were here…” Moku instantly saw his clone leaning against a tree and walked over to it. Looking at the boy that he wanted to guide here it seamed like the clone did its job. With out saying a word to each other the clone put its hand out like a beggar would. Taking his own hand and taping the clones it disappeared in a puff of smoke. Turning around and facing Sorali Moku said “right are you ready to get started Sorali-chan?” Moku didn’t know even what to really do with her. He had invited her to stay in his home and become a ninja now it was just a matter of training her. “ I guess ill have to actually try teaching…” Moku said to himself as he shot a quick glare at Shiru who was supposed to be teaching. [Enter] Sorali looked straight forward into the feild, she noticed there were many figures, which made slightly nervous. In truth she had no ninja training nor any real ninja talent that she knew of. Falling in close behind Moku she touched him lightly on the arm to assure him she was fine and was not in need of rest. " Your worried that you may not be able to teach me? Aren't you?" She was quite inquisitive, but she had felt that he seemed to be in a sort of unpleasant mood. She did not know the cause, but assumed it was herself. Noticing the disappearance of the clone instantly, she smiled and stared at the place it was standing as if intrigued by it's sudden vanishing.

Finally after much deliberation and effort, Minoru completed the "Boar" hand seal. It was no cause for celebration, as he had three more seals to go and he wasn't too good at those. He wasn't good at any of the seals, but that wasn't the point. The point was to practice until he got everything right. It didn't have to be perfect yet, that would come with training and discipline. He often wondered if by becoming a ninja, if he would lose his ability to enjoy the finer things in life. Not money, nor power, just the ability to walk outside on a sunny say and take in the clouds moving across the sky. Things like that were taken for granted by so many people. You couldn't predict the future, and every day might be your last. You had to make the most of it since any one could put a kunai in your chest. The thought wasn't very appealing to Minoru, and he quickly tried to refocus on the task at hand. He had to finish the "Ox" as soon as possible so he could move on. He was still on the first part after all. If he didn't finish this he couldn't actually finish the Jutsu, and that was the whole part of the exercise! Shaking his head, Minoru tried to complete the third seal.

Moku felt a tug on his arm and looked down at Sorali who then asked him if he was worried about teaching her. Moku replied to her saying “what? No… im angry at that idiot of a gate guardian.” Moku spoke his next words in a louder tone “Who is supposed to be the one teaching these kids!!” Moku then returned to his normal tone and said. “ all right the first thing your going to need to learn are the hand signs. Ninjas use them to unleash a power in the body known as Chakra.” Moku would enplane more about chakra to the girl later but she needed the hand signs first. Moku then sat down in front of Sorali and took her hands in his. He then moved her hands in the snake sign. “ this is the known as the snake seal and the next is…” Moku took hold of her hands again and moved them to the next seal. After a few seconds of explanation he then went on to the next and continued until all twelve were shown to the girl, at which point Moku stood back up and said “ Now go ahead and re-produce each seal I showed you.” Moku now just had to wait for her to finish mastering the seals before he would continue with something else.

Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod. = (#)]. DC: 12 Total Seals Learned: 0/12 **No Hp or Cp cost. Rewards: +1 Intelligence, +3 Concentration (one-time only)

As Minoru tried to finish his hand seals he spied a girl walking with Moku-sama. Suddenly Moku-sama vanished in a puff of smoke, and Minoru assumed it was another one of his clones. The girl seemed to be slightly disoriented by the trick, perhaps she hadn't seen it before. Either way it had distracted him from his hand sign and he had failed utterly. He pouted slightly, but he really knew that it was just one more step towards the overall goal. It was the journey that was important not the end result, all though that was an important step as well. The end result was what showed your progress. You couldn't graduate based on how hard you tried. A failure was still a failure after all. Minoru really didn't want to be left behind all of his classmates. They all seemed to be much more advanced than he was at just about everything. Maybe what Minoru needed was to get really good at one thing, and go from there. If he perfected something, or used it in a new way, maybe he would be able to gain some measure of respect from his fellow students. It was doubtful, but a ninja had to dream didn't he? Dreams sadly didn't come true over night and Minoru had to make sure he realized his dream as soon as possible. Happy with the thoughts that were now crowding his mind, he tried the third seal again, hoping that he didn't fail epically yet again.

As Minoru tried to replicate the hand sign again, he was distracted by what Moku-sama and the girl were doing. He watched as he showed her the hand sings by moving her hands around. Minoru wondered why Moku-sama was doing that with her. Did she have bad eyesight or something like that? Well it wasn't like it mattered, as a ninja she would probably be more prepared than anyone else because she'd try twice as hard. The thought made Minoru want to try twice as hard as he was now, and he resolved to do just that. This third seal was becoming as annoying as the second seal, and since he had to do four in all, he tried as hard as he could to get it right. Minoru tried to position his fingers in the correct places in order to maximize the correctness of his sign. He had no idea if that made a difference in how the sign worked, but it was worth a try. He desperately tried to make the third sign and infuse his chakra in it, hoping that this time he would be able to move on again.

It appeared that by making his fingers go in the exact places, he actually did maximize his ability to use his chakra. It appeared that this is what he had been missing the entire time. He had been so concerned with catching up to everyone that he had missed the specifics of his training assignments. Performing Jutsu required accuracy and skill, and Minoru had been trying to breeze past it the entire time. What he really needed to do was take a step back and rethink his plan. As he looked over the "Dog" hand seal, he tried to make his hands go in the exact places that the diagram had shown earlier. He tried as hard as he could to replicate exactly what was needed so he could prevent anything that would hinder his chakra flow. It was definitely an odd trying to be so precise. For as long as Minoru could remember he had been told not to sweat the small stuff in life or they would bog him down. But there had to be a balance. If he didn't try and be precise he'd miss the things he needed, and if he was too precise he'd miss the big picture. They were all things to consider as he tried to form the "Dog" sign.

Minoru tried to form his hand sign so correctly that he realized that he formed the "Tiger" again. He smacked himself in the face as he tried to form the correct seal this time. This was what Minoru was afraid of all along. He had done the seal correctly but he had done the wrong one. It was this kind of mistake that made life hard for him. This time he tried to make the correct sign as accurate as possible, and Minoru checked every few seconds to make sure his hands didn't shift in some way before he tried focusing his chakra again. While he was trying that he made sure his hands were positioned exactly where they were supposed to be, since they had a tendency to cramp up at the worst possible times. It was stuff like that that worsened his chances of becoming a ninja. When you took out all the things between him and his goal, it was apparent that he didn't even have a map to his destination, or a compass that pointed north. It almost seemed like Minoru was walking in circles, even if he was actually walking in squares because he couldn't walk a circle too many times without getting dizzy. Shaking his head to get rid of the unnecessary thoughts, he tried to form the "Dog" hand sign again.

Sorali moved close to the tree that the clone once stood against. Her eyes closed as she formed the first hand sign in her mind, the snake. Listening closely to her own movements she attempted to form the sign with fairly slow, but fluid movements.
Next, she formed the bird sign in her mind and attempted to form it with her hands. Once she indetified this sign correctly she went to next to familiarize herself with all of them before attempting to complete her assignment. She went on to the next set of signs, but it was important that she memorize the movements of her hands first before trying her assignment.
Without sight it was much more difficult then she thought to learn the basics of being a ninja. Once she as familar with the movements of her hands she attempted them all in succesion for the first time.

Things appeared to finally be looking up for Minoru. He had managed to successfully complete all the hand seals in a decent amount of time. Now he just needed to focus all of his chakra to see if he even had enough to perform the Bunshin no Jutsu effectively. If he didn't have enough chakra, then there wasn't much point to attempting the Jutsu so early. He hadn't trained as much as the other students, but he was trying to do the things that they were doing. He was trying to work harder than they were to compensate, but Minoru wasn't sure if it was working. It was like trying to break down a wall with your fists. Sure you would do it eventually, but only after you had broken your hand multiple times. It was a painful process, but it taught you to be resilient and most importantly it taught you the meaning of hard work. Things in life weren't always easy, and the things that you wanted the most were often the hardest to achieve. Minoru tried to focus his chakra in the center of his body, just to see if he even could focus it. It wasn't like he had ever seriously tried doing it before. This would be the next hurdle in Minoru's path to becoming a true ninja.

After the small amount of time it took to to make the handsigns, she knew she was successful it creating at least the first sign correctly. She seemed relieved that she was able to form the snake without error. Although the other signs had much room for error, she expected herself to be alittle slow at learning them. It was harder as she used them in a faster succession, but did not want to fall too far behind the others and so did the signs as she felt her sensei do them.
Now, it was time to try again and hope to leave the next set of minor errors behind. She closed her eyes once again and formed the motions in her mind as she set her hands to move and try the set again.

Focusing your chakra proved harder than Minoru thought. He knew that he had a good bit of it, since he felt it in his body. That was a pretty good start in his mind, since he had never tried something like this. He cleared his mind and looked over at the girl who was practicing hand signs again. It appeared she was much better than Minoru was at getting the hang of things. She seemed like she wasn't having any trouble at all. As Minoru refocused on himself again he wondered what he needed to do in order to effectively use his chakra. He reformed the four hand seals again and tried to refocus his chakra in his hands. He hoped that this way he would be better able to manipulate the strange energy. Minoru wondered who figured out that chakra existed. It wasn't something that you would try using while cooking food or building a house. Unless the person who discovered it tried to walk up buildings and cook food with his hands. He must have been one messed up individual. His mind now filled with more questions than answers, Minoru tried to focus his chakra again.

X____Uchïhǻ Kǻzūmeï___X I was there that night. I remember the fear. I can still see those eyes. Konohagakure no Sato/ Academy Student/ Lvl.7/ Hp: 67/ Cp: 56/ MHp: 84Kazumei closely worked on the ropes trying not to effect the other in the process. Lifting his head up abit Kazumei is tied at the chest also to the other two boys so his arm lenght is very limited. Hearing Conan excuse for not concentrating wasn't enough because Kazumei was working his hardest to untie these ropes with weights on. Probably still unknown to the other two students that he was wearing any. Working on the back knots now to get everyone untied his hands kept low to the ground. Leaning from left to right Kazumei tried to get some space but that would only tighten the ropes back up again. "s**t....I might have to removes these two weights..." he thought as he lifted his pants leg up and began to take off his ankle weights slowly. Reaching out as far as he could to reach the other ankle weight Kazumei bend over even more and took off all the leg weight. His legs felt way lighter almost if he would just start floating right now. But it was time to remove the wrist ones too. Taking off both wrist weights they make a small thump when they hit the ground and Kazumei reveals a big smirk on his face. Kazumei felt so much stronger at that moment he was sure that he could just rip through the ropes with his strenght alone but that wasn't the lesson. Now at his real strenght Kazumei returned back behind him working on his knots untying them with a much greater ease now it like a great weight has be lifted off him. Rhaim gasped with great relief as the ropes finally came free of him and the other two boys. He took a couple steps away from them while breathing deeply, simply because he could. Turning back to the other two he had the same passive look and squinted eyes as he normally had. Nodding at both Conan and the Uchiha, "well that definately took alot out of me. Thanks guys."
Rhaim kept his words short and prayed that the other two would do the same, though he knew that Conan likely had a lengthy speech already brewing inside him. He had noticed that a couple of new students had entered the training area and that it was now becoming rather crowded with all the kids. What was worse was the fact that the only one trying to train any of them was Moku, who wasn't even here for that.
The young Nara however wasn't too concerned with meeting any of them, since it meant more new names that he'd have to remember. However he did want to check up on the small girl to see how she had been doing and if she needed any assistence. As it was, he had seen that she was working on the Henge and, despite people bothering her, she was doing rather well.
