Kuro takes a seat at the table. "Remember not to use such termanology, we are in New Yorks mall, you never know who might be listening." He casually leans back, resting on the chairs two legs. "Well what kind of personallity do you like?"

Layna raised an eyebrow. Either he was being snide or he really wanted to know. "Hmmm....Someone who doesn't seem...so suspicious...But being a 'Fang', I imagine that's difficult." She said, eating another sushi.

Layna couldn't help but laugh. "It's an acquired taste, trust me." She said, smiling. When Zarathos came over, she shied away a little. It still made her nervous to be around her former fiance. She put a hand to her stomach, wincing slightly. She sighed, and picked up another piece of sushi. "I know...Zarathos..." She murmured.

Zarathos smiled at Layna."I told you I'd always be there for you...And I had lied before...But hell made me learn a thing or two.I kind of started realizing allot when I was able to look down at my own grave,and stand over my own body."He turned to Kuro"Here."He reached into his pocket and pulled out a large bundle of 50 and 100 dolar bills.He bulled out 1,250 dollars and handed it to Kuro

Layna winced, but this time not from the small movements, this time it was her heart that hurt. She remembered a time when she would have done anything for this man. But it had fallen apart when he had left. "I'm sorry for what I did to you..." She muttered, staring down at the plate. She thought for a moment, and then gestured to him. "Zarathos, come here." She said.

Layna smiled silently, and reached to grab his hand, pulling him closer. She pressed his hand to her abdomen. "Just feel..." She whispered, closing her eyes. She wanted him to know about it, wanted him to feel it.
