I know. But training doesn't effect the base. No matter how much you train it goes into the 'trained stats' category. Not into the base.

Well if thats how it is, its ignorant. Those who start at a higher level get better stats than those who do the academy to earn them?You're quite mistaken. I can assure you one who earns their way to the actual hunter-nin level would be stronger than any Kage started at lv 60 (unless said Kage put all their points in one area). stare And Citrus, unless you did check with Kitsune or Carlos who does know who started at which rank - then no, don't go making assumptions. sorry I just know some people started at certain levels that's all.

We're speaking of overall calculations. Base points and trained/distributed points matters naught, because the ability cap (100) does not change.
Not everyone in this guild divide base points from trained/distributed ability points. I started learning in Ame and so following Bromy's organization...and never had done that. However, out of curiosity...when I placed my Hyuuga Genin, when she was level 2...versus an actual Genin created at that level, the final result was roughly the same, one exceeding the other by perhaps a point or two. But in later levels, the gap further closes. Of course, it still depends on the shinobi in question.

im not jounin yet im only as strong as one, im only level 21 but my stats are close if not higher than some jounin's from traning since level 1............but if this is true about the base's always staying what they started at that sucks....as i was never told this and i do have my base's set at 10 for chunin as i thought it was something you recived from obtaning that rank

Ah, okay then. I just don't understand why someone would get a higher base just because they took a shortcut to their character. But oh well, screw it. I guess I will just keep my mouth shut and my head low..

nice........gig db back down to 36 not to mention ill have to go threw telling several in the village they have to correct there profiles it as i dont think many knew about this includeing roy, myself, kei ..........several others i know started as acdemy students.... stare *glare at cronos*

I never gave the base points serious thought, only chuckled when Kouri told the Academy Students graduated under Citrus that a headband does not buff one up by x number of base points and x number of ability points. But I do believe it is logical, no?

No, not really, its not. This means the academy is useless thing to have. You dont get anything out of the effort to finish those jutsu.

It is and it issnt, base stays the same as you get stronegr your given more ablility points to raise stats when you start at 1 thats alote of level to get meaning like of bonouses. its not cause all somebody has to do is start as a level 1 genin and they got a base of 8 and still get to make there way threw the levels makeing them even stronger than a genin that started as acdemy student.

also while they get the extra bonuses "maybey" from leveling up they cannot place them in to the stats that they specicifly desire and it come down to the grader of the exp wether they want to give them the stat they want or give them what they belived they earned.
acdemy student 6+20+30(3x10 from each level as they level up)=56
where as person thats starts as level ten chunin
10+68= 78
each rank the climb is much greater between distribution points, also you have to remember untill carlos started to give out bonus stats here we didnt get any and i was level 10 by then. sweatdrop
