CockroachHunter-S Goldriff CockroachHunter-S Goldriff CockroachHunter-S Manaphy seems like a two way cloaking device. And the Interview was just part one gonk What.............? brawl update? How is it a two-way cloaking device? Neither players are invisible.. And both players still receive damage.. Wait, it says people can get hurt? I thought it was like killing yourself... *goes back and checks* Sakurai But you haven’t really swapped places, so if you jump off the edge, it counts as a self-destruct for you. And your damage meter remains as it was.2-way cloaking device, for the no damage part I think that means that your damage meter switches to the character you switch to. That's how i thought it was meant.. EDIT: Nero-k: Check out the quote in this string of quotes, b. It counts as a self-destruct.

you basically switch characters, and fight as them, i think damage stays the same, and if you suicide, its counts as a self destruct for you i would assume. I'm pretty sure thats the perspective sakurai was talking from.

The Pokeball with Manaphy is just awesome.
ROB could be playable, but I'm really unsure. He does appear in the Subspace Emissary, but as a bad guy, and he just opens the bombs.
The interview is nice. So Game Arts are the mysterious "Studio." It's weird, because we were just talking about the Studio today, for the first time in a long time. We get to see a bit more about the man behind the Smash, and how he works.

I don't exactly remembering their name, but then again, I don't exactly remember alot of names xd Grandia III, I guess. They're big time Smash players, though, apparently, and I think the Grandia games are huge hits. HAL, for the most part, made solely Kirby games. Nero-K I wanna hear both Iwata's and Sakurai's opinions on the Delays. Considering the game comes out this month in Japan, I think it's the last delay. This is more than likely due to production shortage estimates, and translation, although I really don't know. They apologize in the interview.

Either way, I hope it was the last delay.

Yeah, the Grandia series, depending on who you ask, is a big deal. People tend to get attached to RPGs like that and it's got a solid fanbase. Especially in Japan. I played Grandia III myself, and even though I'm a die-hard RPG fan, it was really plain. I wonder how they managed to work on Brawl that easily... they're by no means an "All-Star" development team. Maybe Sakurai is just a god.

Well, I was also looking through the musicians and what games they have previously worked on. There are quite a few that seem to have worked on soem of the same games that we haven't seen yet incorporated. One possibility, though I'm not sure how they could pull it off, would be Golden Sun.
I also like the idea of maybe a Custom Robo character, even if it is only one Ray version.

Ah yes, I always believed that Ness would return. He saved my hide in the event match against Mewtwo, Ganondorf, and Giga Bowser, y'know.
Manaphy's ability seems kinda funny. it reminds me of the Action Replay code which makes characters act like one another! Did you see the video yet? Here it is again...Video 1Video 2 Lucario... hmm... what can one say...? I wonder who else they put in. But know this. They are NOT putting in any more SEGA characters (as far as i can tell). If you all saw where the proof was about Ness and Lucario being in, then you'd see that Sonic is the Only SEGA character there!
On a side note, I've noticed that Bowser's stance doesn't look very different. But at least he doesn't look like he was on steroids... seriously, did you see those legs back in Melee?
