Ano, I think your a band geek when...you call your instrument "your precious" Lol I've seen it happen.

DGofS you know your a band geek when -you're on a first name basis with your BD -during the school musical you saw the rest of the pit orchestra more than your family (even through your sibling was in the show too) -you tell the freshmen during marching season "do not argue with the band director when you are in this band he/she is GOD!" -(double reeds) you look through the Forrests Catalog for x-mas presents -you can read both bass and treble and can figure out alto.
-you can't dance but you rock at DDR because you can count out the beats.-you get a varsity letter for being in band for three years in HS and you actually wear the jacket in public.-"dude we're so hard corps. get it?" -"you're a liar. that's right you're a music stand for marching season" -the phrase "someone stole my harness, this one doesn't feel right" isn't kinky it's a drummer having lost something (again) I colored the ones that I am guilty for

You know your a band geek when:
-Helping others change into and out of their uniform just doesn't seem sexy
-You fight over what instrument is the best
-You can classify what each instrument section is good at doing(yes this has to do with making-out, etc.)
-Someone says drum sticks and you don't think of the food....
-You spend hours trying to find sheet music for your favorite anime opening songs (guilty xd , I was trying to find the trumpet part for Tank, opening song for Cowboy Bebop)
-You've been invited to a party for anyone at your school and only band people show up (This did happen to me, and I was invited by a fellow band member xd )

Moose the Great You know you're a band geek when you bring drumsticks where ever you go. WOOT. I would carry mine everywhere, but they don't fit in my backpack on non-band days of school. XD

lol I just thought of some more
-When after football season is over, you don't know what to do on Friday nights(guilty)
-When you get mad cause someone not in band tries to sit at your table during lunch(guilty xd )
-You get excited about chair placements
-You meet someone from a rival band, find out you play the same instrument, and are imediatly freinds
-You freak out when a non-band person touches your instrument, it's case, or your music (guilty)
-Sharing a drink with someone is disgusting, but letting someone play on your instrument(without changing the mouthpeice) is ok
-You can always tell when your band members will come to class, and in what order(totally guilty xd , I'm always able to predict when certain people will arrive to class)
*note: I may have a few repeats...sorry*

You know you're a band nerd when you know a song no one else knows.
You also can tell if you're a band nerd if you march to whatever music you hear.
You know you're a band nerd if you find that you spend half of your Fridays on a bus.
You know you're a band nerd if you make up new dance for a cadence the drumline just learned to do yesterday.
You know you're a band nerd if your band director begins to resemble your mother.
