I believe it is more complicated than that. Since that is a half circle level with the ground if you tried to use spirit energy it will just try to compress the energy within the temple. But since this is mastema's he can probably equal the pressure from energy within the barriers. That is of course just a thought...
*stretches.*
I just want me friends out. At least I think that Kaiori and 9 are in there. Well I know that 9 is...

Focht sighs, still waiting outside of the barrier about 2 meters. His sword resting across his lap, his legs crossed indian style, his wrists resting on his knees and his eyes closed. The only movement from him besides the sigh, is his slow and steady breathing.

Xol stops at a window as he walks down the corridor and peers out. Upon seeing the three men outside, especially Focht he grinned, his fangs poked out slightly. "What pathetic fools...they will never get through the barrier and yet they still try. Ahhh..the loyalty almost brings a tear to me eyes..." He chuckled darkly, swiftly moving onward down the corridor.
He glanced around and caught the wall healing itself from small gashes. A puzzled look came over his face for a moment before turning back into the normal placid one as he kept moving. He figure 9 or Irvine had a tantrum and fruitlessly tried to wreck the castle. It had been awhile since he last saw 9...maybe he would pay her a visit. Not a second after he thought this he spotted her.

"Get any ideas out of your head concerning rescue or escape because it will not happen...ever. Not while you are my prisoner. And I have no incentive to let you go and even if I did your friends might find a way to reverse my little...trap on you. We wouldn't want that to happen now would we?" He chuckled.

Xol frowned and caught her as she passed out, making sure she wouldn't hit the ground. He lifted her up gently and took her to her room where he set her on the bed and walked out swiftly, shutting and locking the door behind him.
