Devon: His mouth open as if to answer his mothers question, he also sensed his father. He hadn't seen him much either these past several days. He had been acting weird. Devon closed his mouth and looked in that direction, tilting his head curiously.

Still moving at a rapid pace, Draeken passed by the small group of people in the forest without even thinking about it. It wasn't until about thirty seconds later, when he was almost back to the mansion doors that it hit him who it was. Without missing a step he turned around and sprang back in the direction he had come. As soon as he was back under the cover of the trees he melted into the shadows only to reappear standing on a tree trunk above everybody. "Hmm"

Looking down at Phia, almost completely ignoring the others, Draeken smiled a bit. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't warm either. "...Good evening..." He paused for a moment then put a hand to his forehead and brushed away a bit of his hair. "I'm being rude." He stepped off the trunk of the tree he was standing upon and fell towards the ground only to slow as he neared it. He set first his right foot, followed by his left lightly upon the ground, no noise made at all. "May I inquire as to what brings you around here?"

Blinking for a moment, Draeken almost looked confused. He smiled then and shook his head. "I do suppose that is bound to happen. You haven't been here in some time." His tone wasn't harsh, surprisingly. He was amazed at himself at how he was handling this sudden surprise, though he didn't show it on his face.

"Understandable." He nodded a bit then shrugged. "Perhaps you'd rather come inside? It's warmer there." He paused for a moment, seeming as if to say something more before he turned his hed and started moving towards the mansion. They could follow if they wanted. If not he would just do as he normaly did these days.

Pausing briefly in his stride Draeken swallowed bit quickly and almost choked. He didn't expect her to accept the offer. No matter. He kept walking.

It would only take a few minutes to get back to the mansion. In that time Devon had passed out in Phia's arms and had his face buried against his mothers shoulder. Draeken saw this and smiled a bit at the child. His eyes raised to meet with Phia's for a very brief second before he turned again and entered the massive building. "Any particular room you'd enjoy having this...Reunion of sorts in?" He scratched the back of his head, unsure of what really to call this meeting.

Nodding he followed Phia in and pointed to the large fireplace that was set in the far wall. Immediately fire sprang to life there and began to warm the room. Taking a seat in one of the large and rather comfortable chairs he sighed a bit and looked to the ceiling, unsure of what to say. This whole situation had caught him unprepared. He put a hand into his coat pocket and seemed to be fiddling with something.
