"Kah-tah-gee?" A growing pout as the child worked for a full moment to memorize the Iwagakurian boy's name. A shy smile played on her lips, yet she still remained in her position behind Sakeme...simply looking over the older kunoichi's shoulder now. "El-ruda." She said, after a long moment. A sudden full grin (expression: ^_^) before she continued: "But Elda's fine." Weird kid. Probably far from what one would typically expect of a shinobi...

Definitly not a regular Hyuuga... Roy thought. He looked over to the girl then back to Katagi for a long moment. He was really making things a bit harder than they had to be. Of course, the girl was coming out of the fearful state so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing after all. Whatever made her ok was perfectly fine with Roy. Last thing he needed was for this girl to spaz. Knowing his luck, she'd be some damn prodigy kid or something. That was the last thing he needed right now.
When he heard the girl give her name, he realized he hadn't given his....and didn't bother giving it. The other idiot had alreayd spoken his name for him so there was no need now. He turned and looked back at the scorpion and sighed, "Don't make jokes about the scorpion. The kid had a pet one that died." He sighed for a long moment then looked up..what a weird day this was turning out to be.
He looked up to the top of the cliff for a long moment. A long, silent moment...yea...it was getting to be that time. "Hmmm well then again...if you don't care for scorpions in the least bit...I'd get out of here...parently that scorpion was someone close to the queen....yea.....yea she's pissed. When you live in Iwa long enough, you know when to get the hell outta the badlands."
Roy began to walk toward the other cliff and began to scale the cliff walking up the sheer surface.

"Training huh?" Now that she mentioned it...where did his team go anyway? Krayte-sensei was throwing fireballs like a mad man and surely these two would see his unique and weird persona's. "Elruda huh? Cool name." The genin felt glad to see the two kunoichi's were safe from harm...hopefully unless what Roy said was true. "Take care of yourselves okay? If you need any help just stop by Iwagakure." He said once again with a nod, he would then turn around with a sweat drop appearing at the side of his head as he heard Roy comment about Katagi's joke. "Er...Well..." Now that Roy brought that up, the silver haired Genin tried to change the subject to something he really wanted to ask some one about. Following with determination to know about what the hell happened to their kage, he would call out in a serious tone. "Roy, What happened to Tsuchikage-sama...? You were the closest one too her right? As in you helped her out in the office...you would surely know what happened...right?"

About halfway done with the meal, the outside of the meat was good to go. Taking out her kunai, she cut into the meat to see how far she could get before it started going raw again. Seeing there was a good amount, she cut off long slivers and wrapped them easily, placing it into the sidebag she carried with her... then she reseasoned what was now bare... hopefully their would be enought for later...

Roy stopped cold in his tracks. It was almost a cool appearance if it wasn't for what horrid thoughts he had about it. Taking a deep sigh, he looked up into the sky, completly forgetting his warning to the people before. He tried to think of an excuse...no, a way of putting it. He didn't believe what the Councel had said but...there was too much going on right now for him to go off and look for her himself....
"She's...missing. A temporary Kage has been appointed...if you need something that important, go find him..." he said in a rather flat tone. Anyone who could read personalities could tell that the subject stung him in a horid way.
Then, out of no where a horrid rattling noise came and another cry came out. But this one was more sharp, more higher in pitch and horrid. He knew that screech all to well...Another Scorpion was coming. One of higher 'rank' than the previous one. He looked about for a moment and looked up to the top of the opposite cliff. Yep...yep there was a huge Scorpion standing up top, its claws sheening in the sky.
"Ahhh hell...a Soldier Scorpion...he must have been looking for his buddy...this is bad. We all smell like him now...ummm its best we get the hell outta ehre now before...."
Out of no where, the Soldier Scorpion leapt into the air and smashed intot he ground. To be honest, it actuallys mashed into the dead scorpions body, almost like a mother covering her child to protect it. Another screech was let out as the scorpion was ready for a brawl.

"Missing...?" He repeated wondering how a strong shinobi such as the Tsuchikage can simply go missing out of the blue. "I doubt that's possible, unless she was kidnapped some how and-" That sound...A soldier scorpion? "What about Elruda and the girl? We can't leave them there to be a feast for this thing!" As the scorpion jumped down from his spot, he backed away to get some distance from it...he hated these damn pests of Iwagakure. Taking out a kunai, he wondered if he could take it on...maybe his training might come into use. "Is it possible that Scorpions are infected by Genjutsu?" He said jokingly as it was the only powerful jutsu he had so far and even then it might leave him open for attack.

Roy looked over to the boy and sighed. Damn this scorpion was pissed and wasn't taking 'go away' for an answer. Roy had figured that they'd just run LIKE HE SAID but of course, no one ever did what the little boy said even though he was right 90% of the time. Looking to the scorpion then to the girls, he sighed deeply and nearly went into a whine. he had already taken out a worker scorpion. he didn't feel like fighting a damn soldier: WHOOOOOOLE different ballgame.
Genjutsu? Was this guy stupid or something? " I PRAY for the sake of your future kids that your joking...Of course their effected by genjutsu but only certain ones...think for a moment. When your that big and everything runs from you, what do you have to fear? And if you trap it in a confusion or darkness type genjutsu, do you really think its just gonna stand there and cower? Thos pincers aren't just huge because they look pretty. They HURT."
Roy lookd to the two girls, almost waiting for the little one to start whining. "Ok, pick your poison, either stay here and fight or get the hell out? I suggest run. These things are like rouches, where theres one,t heres bound to be more." he sighed at that realization.

A sweat drop appeared on the young genins forehead as Roy answered back. His only one would be considered confusion and that wouldn't help him out that much... "Yeah...hehe...I was joking..." He tried to play off his stupid question as Roy told him about the usefulness of genjutsu in this predicament. "Lets get the hell out of here then." He stated in a serious tone this time as he looked over to the other two as well. "Lets go!" He would move his way towards the Hyuuga to pick her up to get her away from the dangerous foe, hopefully the short one would help the other girl out.

Seeing how monstrously large this new scorpion was, Elruda instinctively took a step back. Fear became evident in her pale eyes as she shakingly stuttered: "N-not...A-akeru..." What kind of strange place was Iwa, anyways? Ok, ok...maybe that was an exaggeration. Konoha did have giant centipedes in their Forest of Death...unpleasantly huge snakes...and odd critters of the sort around the Fire Country borders. But that thought did not make her feel the slightest bit better - for when the scorpion let out a horrible screech, Elruda shut her eyes, hands clasped tightly over her ears. She distantly heard Katagi say something, before being picked up and carried from the danger zone. Something's amiss... Oh no...Sa-chan!!

(Awww... I was halfway done too... oh well, I'll finish the post later. Wait... short one? Quit picking on me!)
Everything happened pretty fast... the loud screech, the giant scorpion appearing, it looking extremely angry.... and wanting to eat them like they were now eating its pal... Good times, good times. Shoving her kunai back into her pocet, she watched the newest guy pick up Elruda and take off after Roy, so... not wanting to fight this thing herself, she took off running after them. "Okay... just using common sense... it'll probably chase us... How fast can a Giant Scorpion go?" She was atleadt grateful to have kjept a good portion of the meat... and she had no worries about the new pest comming for that... After all, when cooking meat, and better... adding spices, it would loose the scent of what it used to be...

Roy stood for a long moment... the scorpion wasn't moving...it was only screeching. If it was in pain or crying over its fallen comrade, it would have attacked him by now but it still stood there, screeching. What was it doing?
Roy was only standing there giving the others time to flee. Once they had made their escape, he would move as well but this behavior was puzzling. He couldn't piece it together till he listened...ther was something missing...missing in between the crys...Why were there no other wildlife sounds. That's when it hit Roy. The scorpion wasn't crying, it was calling.
"Oh hell..."
Roy blitzed out of there. Using body Flicker, he instantly dashed off, catching up with the group. "MOVE! MOVE NOW! GET BACK TO IWAGAKRE!!" he called out. "That thing wasn't sad! It was calling backup!!"
As they would look back, the ground would become ripe with a cloud of dust and at its head would be dozens of scorpions of varying sizes.

Wrath had finally returned to the canyon but as he neared the site where he left his pupils he noticed a few things. An enormous scorpion, a man, a younger boy, and his two comrades running toward him. "What the hell?" Wrath murmured to himself as he continued traveling toward them. He easily figured out why they were running, the scorpion was dangerous and they couldn't defeat it. That was his assumption. However, Wrath had the thought in his head that one or two would be no problem.

Wrath stopped and starred at the screaming scorpion, he was thinking of what to do. And it hit him. Wrath bit his thumb and slammed his open palm on the very dirt he stood on. Then in a loud BOOM and an vast cloud of smoke, a giant panda stood in the middle of the open canyon region, while wrath kneeling on it's head. The panda was of colossal size, definitely a spectacle to behold. "Lord Mfumu, would you please help me protect my comrades down below." Wrath respectfully asked the giant panda. Lord mfumu looked where they boy had pointed and noticed the tiny people running for their lives and then back up to the scorpion which was still smaller than Mfumu. "I see." the panda replied and slowly began walking. Each step he took cause the earth to rumble and quake.

"Not quite sure, I never was the type to wander around and hunt for scorpion meat at a place like this!" He responded back as he ran for his and Elurda's life. "But seeing its size and its need to catch bigger pray that can probably out run it...probably faster then an average human?" He said as he took a guess about it, then again running that fast would need more energy meaning it needed bigger prey...and that must be them. Turning back to Roy was a bad thing to do, he would body flicker to the group running as he witnessed the scorpions coming for them. "W-What?!" He said as a expression of fear and shock would be shown (Naruto shocked anime expression). "Roy! If they start to catch up then take Elruda-chan! I'll try to hold them off some how!" Some how...yeah, that was pretty damn easy to say...waking up and walking to Abunai canyon to meet some foreign shinobi and later on getting mauled, stabbed and cut to smithereens by over grown mutated scorpions...Then if this situation wasn't weird enough, it seemed some one was looking after them...maybe it was just luck that a giant panda would appear out of no where? If it was on their side then thank goodness for that! If not then they now have giant scorpions and a giant Panda after them. "A...Giant panda?!" He pointing out being captain obvious of the group, he would turn around and focus on the rocky path hoping not to trip up and fall down.

Sakeme began to run faster at the dounds of many more scorpions heading in their direction, then a large boom announced the arrival of Wrath and his summon. Watching the boy with Elruda, she shook her head warily and took her from him. "Keep going... the Panda is the summon of a comerade.... as long as we are behind it, we'll be safe..." Taking in a deep breath, she sprinted even faster with the new weight she carried in her arms.
It didn't take too much longer, with the way the Panda moved with his huge legs... she and the kid were, atleast, behind him within a few minutes... They were now able to slow to a jog and eventually a slow walk. Breathing a bit heavily, Sakeme put the Hyuuga down and watched Wrath go to work with the giant pests. "You okay kid?"
