She smiled and walked into the bedroom, going through the closet and pulling out a pair of jeans and a soft red V cut tee, getting dressed. Time on the other hand went to town on the sausage, munching on it like it was going out of style.

Valor sported his usual casual look, worn jeans and a white tee with his tennishoes and soft smile Amanda had permenently placed on his lips.

She smiled at him and sat on the bed, pulling on a pair of flats and stayed on the bed, playing with her hair, knowing it will be a while before it would be long again.

She nodded and stood, walking up to him and hugging him tightly. "I hope it grows back fast." She whispered as she closed her eyes. "Lets get going before I change my mind."

He touched her cheek and they were off. The Barber was a lovely gentlemen, grandfatherly.

She walked into the barber shop and looked at the man with a smile. "Excuse me? Can you cut my hair?" She was a little more confident at this moment, knowing there was no turning back now.

He smiled at her with his big rosy cheeks and wire rimmed glasses. "Sure! Why don't you look at those books over there and tell me when you've found a cut you like." he said cheerily.

She smiled and took Valor's hand, sitting on a chair and looking at the books. "I don't want it too short Valor, so you can still play with it." She said softly as she started to look through a book.

She looked through the books and finally found one she liked. It was shorter then what she was planning, but it was cute and she would be able to live with it.
She kept it to herself, wanting to surprise Valor and walked up to the old man, showing her what she wanted. "Can you leave it slightly longer though? I haven't cut my hair in years and its hard to say goodbye to it."

She smiled and nodded, a little relief going through her features. She sat on the chair for him, being as calm as she could muster up.

He knew how it could be for girls. And he could see she'd probably been through hell, so he was nice and kept her distracted and ended up not making as drastic of a change as she thought it would be.

When he was finished she looked in the mirror, a little surprised at how long it was but it was still drasticly short for her. She smiled widely though and was still able to reach up and play with it. "Thank you so much." She whispered as she turned her head over her shoulder to look at him.
