Shadow's eyes flicked towards Focht as his own ears twitched. His eyes flashed golden from red and back to red. I'll keep my side 9. So long as you hurry. I can't resist eating your body for much longer and after that all bets are off.

Focht's grip on the weapon tightens. He isn't going to make a move unless there is a good reason to but he isn't going to wait until then to get ready for a fight. Dropping into a lower stance, Focht continues to growl.

Focht doesn't make a move, but the growling stops for now. His hand was still around the grip to his weapon and his ears still flickered about listening.
