Remember how the hammer suit practicallly pwned anythign?
Even Thwomps?
That and the Frog suit were my most favored powerups.
Of course who could forget the somersaulting Mario, when he was invincible?

Of course who could forget the somersaulting Mario, when he was invincible? If you use the Tanooki suit and change into a statue over a thwomp, does that kill it? I know it works on those spinning hologram disc things. The Hammer Suit was neat, but it was so rare.

Hero Maul World was gold. Galaxy was a close second for me. And then Sunshine. People who hated sunshine are secret homosexuals. ...I mean... closet faggots!

Oh yeah, the cape is much better than the raccoon suit, but then the wing cap is better than the cape, isn't it? SMB3 just seemed to have better laid out levels, more suits and was just a better game. Yeah, I'm pretty biased towards it, but it was pretty much the first game I remember. I like throwing items in World. There's nothing like running around, juggling a shell and killing hordes of enemies as you spin around like a jackass, jumping off of a chainsaw or something. XD

If you get up really high, and you have a raccoon (or tanooki) suit when you jump off of a platform, as the starman is fading, you can keep hitting the B button and he'll fall slowly while in somersault animation. Kinda funny looking.

After I beat the game (GBA version), I tend to stock up on spare suits.
As for your last post, in SMW I love that distinct 'schnook' sound effect when you bounce off what would otherwise be a hazard xd
Bu damn... doing that in the Kaizo Mario World hacks...
I'd imagine it'd make you want to rip the balls off whoever did that hack.

I never want to play Kaizo Mario. crying Ever.
I had an e-reader for SMB3 on my GBA so I got to scan cards with bonus levels and s**t. There were some awesome ones. cool
