Heck yeah they have names. nothing's more random than naming non-living things.
Concert Snare Drum: Fleebeen
Ochestra Bells: Floobeen
My friend has a Bass Drum named Sebastian and a Conga Drum named Fabio.
I have another friend that named his Bass Drum Pete and another friend that named her Clarinet Skittles. And one that named her Flute Trout.

The Alto Saxophone I use isn't mine, but I call it "Queen Bee's Ex" because the instrument is the school's and it was previously used by this senior who seems to be somewhat of a Queen Bee of the band, although she's not even BP.
She got a new instrument for her Senior year so I got her old one.
Other than that, it's my gold 'ole Sexyphone. ^^ 'Cause Saxophones are sexy and our saxophone section rocks. Not the Bari, but the Tenor and Alto. ^^
