Victoria didn't need to be convince to continue onwards. If all they would do is watch, then that was fine with her ...as she continues past the metal pokemon. One more go around the bend and she would literally be free of this place, and though she was trying to keep the same pace she did speed up just a bit.

If Raven was more of the emotional sort, he likely would have broken down in tears as he reached the mouth of the cavern once again. He was more glad to see the end of this place then many things recently. Even the end of his adventure on the other island wasn't met with as much suppressed emotion as this one.
Practically running for it as his boots touched the sand, the boy wouldn't even notice the other student as he made a headlong run for the boats. He was out of here!

If Celeste had been aware of what had happened, and why the Pawniard was so angry with her, maybe she would have reacted differently, but all she could see was an angry pokemon trying to attack her and Mazu. He provoked the fight, so she wasn’t going anywhere.
The Squirtle’s attack had been somewhat pathetic, and the only thing that suffered during this round was her own ego… But the fight wasn’t over. She had to redeem herself. But for now, she stood on the defense.

Though one was thrown towards the other ...as the Joltik would show true ability to work together. THe poison stings catching in her skin, but, the density of it would stop it from getting pass her shell. Yet the same couldn't be said of the Cross Poison as the other Joltik would turn on her legs ...as she latches her string shot upon her partner ..twirling once she would send the Joltik back towards the Gliscor as he would use Cross Poison. A move that would be unable to harm her ...., but the poison that seeps through ...seemed to be able to do what the poison stings could not.
Going all the way to her blood stream ...as the two would land heavily upon the ground. Their arms up in defense as their leader would smile ....
Everything had gone according to plan as he would call out ...coughing lightly.
He hadn't failed to notice what language she had used.

He declares loudly to her ...even as the other two would wait on the defensive for her reply.

Victoria would finally see the end of the cavern as she walks towards the light. Animus would hesitate though in that darkness ...the only world he had known before this girl. THe place of his childhood, the place where he had fallen in love and chosen his mate for life, and ....as he took a deep breathe.
A place he would never return to ...as he almost hoped that something would come out and attack them then. Something that would give him a reason to stay just a moment longer.

Though that might have been a big mistake as the Pawniard would rush forward with his blades drawn backwards once more. His eyes were focused on his opponent as he took each step towards his opponent ...as the blade would sound against the ground earth as he ran it there first and then he would turn. One foot would pivot as he tries to bring that blade down in what seemed like a roundhouse spin ...or was it more like a roundhouse scratch.

Though there was no confrontation as they left the cavern. The fight between the Pawniard and the girl was lost ...on her as she saw it and shook her head. She had no reason to help her, and thus would walk past while those two were fighting it out. Heading towards the beach, she would push her boat into the surf and within moments ..with Animus scrambling into the boat ...they both would depart.
She wouldn't be traveling these waters again if she had her own choice.
Thus, her adventure on Beginning Island ends.

One would think that such a spectacular attack would have caused much more damage, but all that came out of it was tiny scratch on the side of the Squirtle’s head. Of course, it stung a little bit at first, but nothing life threatening. Mazu considered herself lucky because since she had failed to dodge out of the way, she could very well be dead. But she wasn’t. It was time to go at it again, and once again, she chose to try and tackle her opponent. Squirtle

Jasmine was quick on the mark, as Lindbergh would grimace, all that time acting like the ponce of Nottinghamshire, and the likely chance was that none of them even knew what she was saying!
Whilst Lindbergh was considering this over, and poison was beginning to flow into her systems, Jasmine hated the idea of doing this, especially mid battle, but she needed her healer and fast!
The heal ball would pop open, as a third member would join the isle, hidden behind Lindbergh, an incredulous looking Happiny looked around the strange place, before seeing Jasmine- [You?! What are-]
Jasmine stopped her, she wouldn't be able to even understand what as being asked, but she knew enough confusion there to guess the little one wanted an explanation of what had happened to unite them like this, but she couldn't afford explanations right now!
"I promise I'll explain soon, but you need to help!"
She pointed in hushed tone at Lindbergh... And the Happiny saw the dead Spinarak also, they were in a battlefield?! Her head swam at the thought of death, but she could see quickly, her survival depended on them as well now...
She frowned a disapproving frown. [...It seems I have no choice.]
She would turn in a slow moving circle, from where her pouch would have been, petals began to rise and fall, as she would twirl, they would rise further, enveloping over Lindbergh and Burnout, what looked like a gentle breeze from the crevices was really her Aromatherapy at work!
But while they worked to heal Lindbergh's poison, Lindbergh herself felt rather short changed, she hadnt impressed as hoped, more than that, now she had a mating proposal?!
Casting aside all acts of nobility, she levelled a rude gesture at the leader of the Joltik, [I just lost my stomache for these fine hips, no way I'm letting you take it away from me!]
She couldn't use her jaws at a distance, but as she raised her tail, she thought of a familiar Spinarak's way of saying 'hell no'.
[So here's my answer!] Se barked, as her tails two laws both began blasting stingers on after the other like a chain gun, peppering the battlefield!
And while she attacked, Burnout watched, for what he wanted were the ones who dodged?
As they would need to get away, his blistering wind picked up, he owned the lid on his flame and let the Heatwave attack the pair now, making sure to follow Linbergh's response... Chances were they we're rumbled now, subtlety was teetering out of the window!

((Actually no damage, because .....an attack must out roll a defense roll.))
Though the Pawniard wasn't going to let itself be easily hit. It's own attack having failed as it would drop down and shift it's weight from one leg to another. It's move was simple, it was going to flip the pokemon over his head and into the ground with a single flick of his arm.
That is ...if he was able to time it right.

The gust did strike, though...with enough force to make him sneeze. Which is exactly what Erion did, sneeze. See, when your skin is part rock, some things just don't hurt as much as they should, like wind or physical contact. He just couldn't feel it.
He once more began to watch her closely. Any sudden movement towards him and he was ready to haul his tail outta there.

Unfortunately for the Pawniard, he had missed his chance to execute his plan, and Mazu had managed to tackle the Pawniard to the floor. Feeling proud of herself, she walked around the Pawniard with her head held high. She had officially redeemed herself. Squirtle

((Sorry, but you are calling a pokemon out in the middle of the battle means it starts off on the defensive. So, she can't use Aromatherapy this turn, and Lindbergh isn't healed of poison.

The attack would hit the male, but it wasn't with another force to do more than just skin him a little. His eyes would focus on the Glicsor as he looked over at the female. It was time to start again ...as they would quickly move forward ...but a voice would call their attack to halt.
A smirk was on his face.
((Stand down, it's time for a switch))
The call was loud as the two pokemon would move to do just that ...both moving away as swiftly as possible at his command. If the group looked they would see why ...as the Spinarak that had been crowded behind them was gone ...all have disappeared into the crevices ...forced there by the Joltik while they battle.
Now only the leader stood there as the other two would swift to defense at his side.
A smile was on his face.
He didn't miss the sight of the new pokemon called forth as the red light and the loud pop had been heard clearly. The creature trying to hide behind the Gliscor, but pink and purple didn't exactly look the same especially ones of their shade.
A smile grew wider. Maybe, the Spinarak's hope hadn't been crushed just yet, but he would do it. He would do it and make that female his, especially since thanks to that web she couldn't run from this battle.
Since he couldn't do anything more than defend this turn he called to his own minion once he had gotten to his proper place on the field.

The male would aim another Poison Sting at the Gliscor, while the female would once more use Cross Poison.

He didn't have to wait long as she would lower her head and try again. If one attack failed, she had to turn another as the Tropius would use headbutt once more. If she could simply drop this pokemon all of her worry would be over, but that was easier said then done ...as she charged.

((Almost, but, Pawniard had a resistances to normal attacks. So 9/2 = 4.5 rounds to 5 dmg))
The attack should have hurt more than it did, but it is simply the pokemon's tough skin that prevents it. A smirk was on his face as his red eyes glowed ..now it was time to punish this pokemon for such an attack ...as he rushes forward with his blades dragging behind him ...pulling one forward it would seem obvious what he planned to do ...when he suddenly rear his head back and went at the Squirtle's face with a punch to he head with his own head ...as he used Sucker punch?
