-Dessynea- -My big thought train today: I went to my first Law and Lit class and it made me realize how much I miss English classes. I haven't taken one since high school and being a psych major means I probably won't take any more after this one. It just made me remember that I kick a** in English classes. I have never really considered myself exceptionally good in any subject, just really good at all of them, but I think I am exceptionally good at English. biggrin English is an awesome subject, I wanna minor in it. Its really easy to be good at, and its so open ended that there is usually not a definite answer

I'm thinking about writing poetry again. I kind of miss seeing my feelings on paper. It's just hard to tell if I've gotten progressively better or if my style changed.

My "hardcore" gaming is holding me back. I used to be very diligent in practicing my instrument, but I haven't done that since I joined the Air Force. Now that I actually have the money to buy any game I want and I do just that. It's not like I'm the person that games 24/7. I go to the gym a lot, but other than that, it's pretty much all I do.I'm still good with brass instruments, but I could be so much better. I think I need to put gaming down for maybe a week or so just to find myself again.

How can anyone not like the Bruce Faulconer music in FUNimation's dub of DBZ?
I'm sorry, but I don't like the original Japanese music; most of the time it's too boring and sometimes it seems like it's playing during the wrong kind of scene. Yeah, the Bruce Faulconer music did that sometimes too, but c'mon, when you've got happy music playing to someone getting beaten to near-death in what's supposed to be a serious fight, something's wrong. Whereas, what did the FUNimation dub give it? Kick-a** progressive/thrash metal played to people beating the s**t out of each other and everything getting blown up. How can you not like that? I'll take that over the boring (and sometimes too cheery) Japanese music any day.
