Loraile felt a prickling on her skin. Something was going on around her and she couldn't put her finger on it. She stood there and a small smirk played on her face.
"You know...I think I'll just go." she said with a smile to the waiter. She looked at the man who had came in and his prey. Maybe it was time for Nightmare to make her Gotham debut.
She slipped outside and slid on the black one piece with the bell sleeves and slid the nightmare dust cartridges. She hid her backpack and duffle bag in the ally and climbed onto the roof. She nestled herself up on the room, a black mask covering her face and a small microphone with an ear bud was on one of the windows.

"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you." Blackstone sighed. "From what I've heard, Miss Gallay could very well be dead right now. She vanished from the room of her recent captor, leaving nothing more than a pool of blood. I am GOING to find out what is going on."

The witch grinned a bit at that. "Pool of blood? Well if she dies, shouldn't she go straight to the Underworld? I'm fairly certain her soul is still claimed. And if that's the case, then you WILL need my help if you ever want to see her again."

"If that is where she has ended up, then I will be in less of a hurry. I doubt she'll go far from there without some outside help. I will though, need to take care of everyone who caused her to end up there." Blackstone said.

"So... you'll hold off on asking me for help?"

"I believe you just said you wouldn't help me if it had anything to do with "her" anyway."

"That I did. Though I suppose I could hang around in case you need me. I'm rather bored as of late. Very few people have come in to seek my services." Edel said with a small sigh.

"How unfortunate." Blackstone said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Edel grinned. "Hm, my... have we been that busy? Should I try to speed things up here so you can have your little meeting?"

Edmond was too distracted trying to eavesdrop of Blackstone and Edel to notice the figure who's head was slightly sticking out by one of the windows. When he had heard what he needed to Edmond sent another message to Emily/

It appears your old friend came to the Lounge for information on Miss Gallay. The woman doesn't seem to happy about it but she is willing to help him find her. I'm sorry I couldn't hear more.

With the message sent Edmond returned to his primary objective. Gather as much information as he could on the Underground Exhibit. Edmond moved back across the room to his table and began looking around for a waiter. When one came to him he ordered three of the same drink. He told the waiter to give two of them to Blackstone and Edel and he kept one for himself. Blackstone was certainly busy but Edmond had work to do.

Nightmare sat on the roof trying to make sense of this new information...whatever it was. She'd taken out a pen and pad and scribbled down the name Miss Gallay and a big DEAD? next to it.
Was Gotham into sorcery she didn't know about? Could this place be more complicated than she first thought? Maybe her nightmare dust could lend some more helpful information. Shame she didn't have her computers set up right now but she knew she could retrieve the data later.
She pondered how much to use, surely a nice sprinkle will give a fair mapping but who is this Miss Gallay and more importantly who will pay the most for her stolen goods?
Coming up with a reasonable amount she dispensed a teaspoon of dust. Some fly by is possible she thought but a teaspoon should get into those little nooks without too much trouble.
Lifting the window just enough for a little air she blew the dust into the crack and the dust quickly spread out under it's programming. With a little direction from Nightmare's controller they would soon land on the target.

"That would be preferable." Blackstone replied. "I need to know what is going on. And I can't afford to waste time on it tonight."

Edel grinned a bit and shook her head. "Very well... perhaps we can have a more pleasant meeting once you've calmed down some. You're so... stiff when you're anxious. And that's saying something considering how unemotional you usually tend to be." she said as she stood from her seat. "I'll see what I can do to immediately open up the owner's schedule so he can see to-"

"Excuse me," a waiter said as he approached the table. A tray held in one hand with two glasses filled with a gold tinted liquid. "But the gentleman downstairs sent these up for the two of you."

Blackstone arched a brow at the drinks, then glanced over at Edel. The sorceress looked far more amused at the surprise gift. "Oh my, I hope no one thought we were having a spat." she said, then looked to Blackstone with a grin. "Surely you can wait jut a little while longer. Or have your taste buds refined so much that you only drink imported wine that's as old as you are?"

Blackstone sighed deeply. "I suppose I'll have to wait either way. Just see to it that I get to my meeting at a decent hour." he said, then glanced down over the balcony. He'd been so distracted with Edel, he hadn't noticed any activity downstairs. And too many new customers had come in that he couldn't tell who might have ordered them a drink. HE certainly hadn't met anyone in this universe yet that he knew. Or that should know him for that matter.

"Send him up." Blackstone said, turning back towards the waiter. "May as well see to this generous stranger while I wait."

The waiter nodded, sat the glasses down on the table, and turned to head down to the main floor to retrieve Edmond. Edel smiled and sat back down in her seat. "I can rearrange Cobblepot's schedule from here. It will likely be better for you if he doesn't know that you're 'demanding' his attention anyway." she said with a grin.

Meanwhile, Emily was able to send a text back to Edmond.

It's alright. If need be, I'll find other ways to get the information I need. I may even be able to get it from Edel if I can find her. She doesn't like her husband being so close to my friend. If I give the option of keeping her away from him, she might help.

Edmond was relieved to see that Blackstone had taken the bait. It made introductions slightly easier. Before accepting the invitation up to the balcony Edmond checked the message from Emily. He did not reply. Replying now would force him out of character and from this moment forward he could only be Eric Monte. A conman, criminal mastermind looking into an underground lab for a new job. Edmond adjusted his suit and picked up his glass before making his way up the stairs onto the balcony. By the time he had arrived it appeared that the waiter had set up a third seat for him.Edmond sat down with a passive smile as he looked at the two. "I do hope you both enjoy the drinks, It was the best they had to offer."

The two watched as Edmond was led up to the balcony. Edel grinned a bit and looked over to Blackstone. "Friend of yours?" she asked.

"Not that I recall. I've kept a rather low profile since arriving in this world." Blackstone replied.

"No hired thugs, in translation?" she said with a smirk.

The two waited as Count was led over to their table. Blackstone looked the stranger over as he came up to the table. A rather evaluative look over. He didn't recognize the man, and he couldn't imagine why he would have wanted to come up here. That was the most likely reason he had sent drinks up.

Edel gave the man a look over as well. She seemed far more amused at his arrival. "That it is." Edel replied to Edmond with a smile. "Quite an expensive drink for strangers. What's the occasion?" she asked.

"Yes. I don't believe we have met." Blackstone added.

Edmond looked over at Edel first. She seemed amused. That was good for him, people tended to keep things that amused them around. It may be the determining factor that buys him enough time to find out what he wants to. "No real occasion, I came to find Mr. Blackstone and knew immediately that you deserved a drink as well. Common manners." Edmond spoke with a conman's smile intentionally. He wanted the smartest person in the room to know he had an angle, someone needed to know that he was more than a polite man trying to find work.

Turning his head to Blackstone the Count continued, "You are right, we have not met but I have heard much about you. I have heard you are a very lucrative business man, involved generally in the type of business I enjoy and I have been hearing rumors lately that might interest you."

"Is that so?" Blackstone asked, arching a dark brow at the man. Edel chuckled lightly. "It seems your reputation is preceding you, dear." she said with a grin. Blackstone looked back over at her with a frown.

"I suppose I'll need to find out what sort of reputation has been going around." he said, then turned his attention back to Edmond. "In which case, I suppose you have my attention."

"Now, now. Let's not start a lengthy conversation without at least getting to know one another." Edel said, looking over at Edmond. "You've said you know who Richard is. So I suppose there's no need to introduce him. But... neither of us know who you are. And I'm curious to see if I have such a reputation outside my little home as well."

So Edel hadn't made an attempt to out him yet, that was good. Edmond figured that he should not test his luck by knowing too much and so he played dumb when it came to Edel's identity. "I am unsure who you are mam but believe me that comes as a shock. A woman looking the way to do, and I mean that as a compliment, tends to generate conversation. Yet I have heard nothing. " Edmond paused, he hoped that would be enough to keep her satisfied for the moment. Then he turned slightly to address the both of them. "My name is Eric Monte. I excel in many forms of questionable work. Basically if you need it done I am the man to go to." Edmond turned to look at Edel again. Of the two at the table, he needed information from Richard, but he needed a favor form Edel. "So who are you?"

Edel grinned. "I am Edel Condulmer. The Witch of Fruition, as my customers like to call me." she replied, flashing him a smile. There was a curious glimmer in her dark eyes as she looked at him, but she didn't draw attention to anything she might be thinking.

She knew... of course. It was a bit of a bad habit to "read up" on strangers she met. She preferred to know a bit about them just in case there was ever a problem. And she knew the eye patch was not needed. The man had a bit of a get-up going, but it was of no concern to her. She also knew that her estranged husband was a big boy and could take care of himself. He was also far from an idiot. It might be fun to see if this "Eric" could keep up appearances in front of Blackstone.

"Witch of Fruition? That is interesting to say the least. " Edmond spoke clearly to avoid giving off an overly curious personality. Edmond once again shifted to address the two of them at the same time. "What type of business is a Witch of Fruition into these days?" Edmond asked the question openly so that Blackstone wouldn't seem like he was a third wheel. Posture had a profound effect and by sitting in a manor that suggested he was speaking to both of them he felt it would keep them from feeling ignored. Edmond asked about Edel's work because Blackstone had been right, it was best to know who you were talking to before beginning a lengthy conversation.

"Not very much, I'm afraid..." Edel replied with a sigh.

"Typically Miss Condulmer busies herself with spells, potions, and relics to sell to anyone who has the coin for it. As well as other services, if they are truely desperate. Though... if it's as "dull" as you say it is... I imagine you're furthering your own studies and hunting for rare pets."

"As a matter of fact.." Edel said with a grin, looking over at Blackstone. "I did happen to come across a most unusual dragon youngling. I came out for a bit of a break while my other pets are watching over him." she replied.

"That sounds like an interesting market to deal in. Personally I have always tried to avoid magical items. To many risks when it comes to curses." Edmond spoke passively until he heard that Edel collected rare pets. It gave him the opening he needed to begin hinting at the Underground Exhibit. It was rocky, but Edmond used the opening he had. "If you like rare pets your should look into getting a Black Mercy plant. Sure it is not a pet by usual standards but what if the worst that a plant could do? Besides I have heard many things about what these plants can do and it is quiet interesting. "

"Black Mercy plant?" Edel asked, folding her hands under her chin to lean on the table. There was a bit of a quizzical look on her face now as she looked at Edmond. "I've never heard of such a plant before. Is it something native to this area? I'll admit I'm not familiar with Gotham." she added. She was always interested in collecting rare species.
