Akira growled softly, her grin having been whipped from her face, only to be replaced by a frown.

"Oh noooo...Going from hating somebody's guts to holding their hand in a caring way doesn't change ANYTHING!" she replied sarcastically, shrugging.

"Ya right! What's the deal!? Are you two best buddies now or something!? I'm not saying your bloody lying, i'm saying that yes, things HAVE changed obviously, so quit denying it already!!! If you didn't want to tell me, you could of just said so in the 1st place!"

Anger was building up inside her rapidly now. It was odd, since moments ago, she had been arguing with three people she loathed, but now, yelling at Evermore...it just felt soooo wrong.

Ever frowned deeply and began to squeeze Ares' hand harder, subconsciously.

"I am NOT hiding anything! And I never said I HATED him! Yeah, he pissed me off, and he still does! I was just arguing with him earlier and you happened to miss it! You can't judge something, Akira, if you don't see all of it! You've been missing yourself a lot, recently, so you've missed a lot of my fights with Ares! I fight with him as much as I always have!"

Dammit she hated fighting with her best friend like this! Wait... had she EVER fought with Akira like this before?

Ophiuchus sighed, and lessened the pressure of the massage. There had to be a balance between loosening Lin's muscles, and causing her too much pain.

"Collegiate program, huh? I'd like to hear more about that." He was unaware of Lin's will not to speak.

Akira just glared, pointing accusingly at Ares...Or at least, where he had been seconds ago.

Wait...Did he actually kiss the top of her head!?

"You DID say you hated him!! And all those other names that i don't want to say since he's right here! Well was! And I am not judging! Your the one that told me he's freaken dangerous and i should be wary of him!! I'm SORRY if i was following your advice then, since he's obviously NOT! Well ya, i have been, but then why the hell are you holding his hand if you argue with him so much!? And that little kiss there ment nothing either!? Seriously!?"

Yes, she had been "absent" a lot lately, she couldn't deny, but it also wasn't her fault that her body went crazy on her, transforming into a wolf, then being so drained of energy that she'd needed to catch up on her sleep to recharge!!

Lin sighed as Ophiuchus lessened the pressure slightly with his hands. This was perfect. In fact, it was very relaxing now. Her muscles were already beginning to loosen under his hands now.

Lin brought her arms up to rest on top of the book under her head and rested her head on her arms. She was even smiling slightly.

Her voice was quite soft now, and very relaxed. "Bai Ching offers four years of collegiate classes for students who wish to further their education in white and neutral magics. As you know, collegiate classes in magic are very rare. Plus, I love Bai Ching and would love to spend another four years here. Of course, I would major in healing magics and practices."

"But you are worth it!" she murmured sadly. Then she perked up. "What if you had someone to help you? What if I helped you? Nikolaus is you... there's no escaping that. Try accepting him, and then work on changing how you two view the world together... maybe you won't have to lock him away anymore. Please try?" she implored.

Akira just crossed her arms and kept silent, trying to calm down. Yelling wasn't going to get them anywhere...But it did feel good and she did want to get her point across.

Well, if anything, it seemed that the War God really wasn't all that horrible after all...Maybe by some messed up fluke, the short amount of time he had spent with Evermore had changed him dramatically?

...That was a little far fetched...

The girl sighed and murmured, "He's...Sweet to you...So why'd you make him out to be such a dangerous and loyaless guy to me then, Ever?"

"I want to help you," she said earnestly, taking his hand in hers. "I can't change you if you don't want to help yourself!" she was frustrated, and she was remembering unpleasant things as well.

"When I was about ten," she blurted suddenly, "some kids were bullying me. They were throwing stuff at me because I couldn't see it, and I go so so angry... the anger just seemed to explode out of me. I hurt all those kids with my power, and put a few in the hospital. Everyone blamed it on a gas leak, but I knew what I'd done... I still feel terrible to this day," she said sadly, flexing her fingers. "... maybe we don't have to bring Nikolaus back out to bring back your emotion, maybe we can try another way?"
