Zeno flew for what seemed like hours, he judged it to be in the afternoon sometime, though by the pain in his wings he would have thought it to be much later. He knew that Grevious was close behind him so he flipped over mid air, folded his wings and dived to the clearing that fortunately was right beneath him. His sore wings caused a rough landing which in turn rewarded him with a couple new bruises for show-and-tell with his bothersome companion. The Azerian turned slowly, taking in his surroundings. His eyes found only the same things he had been staring at from the sky, nothing in the least interesting.. it was perfect. They would need to rest sometime soon, and as they had chosen not to sleep earlier, now was the opportune time. Zeno started to untie the straps on his pack when the thought struck him that he might need to check with Grevious on his thoughts on this campsite.. now that they were travelling together and all. Perhaps, Grevious wasn't such a dimwhit after all, and deserved input on things. Taking his pack off meant that his decision was final and that the other being had no choice in the matter. After a moment of thought Zeno's pack slid off his shoulders and fell to the ground.

Sin laughed and thew his arms in the air shouting in a controlled voice so that only the people in the immidate area hear the shout. "Woo Hoo! Revelations! I think I read a book with something like that in it... never really got into it though... lots of good stuff thought... of course that Nazuren inquisitor sounds like a fun time.... cuz you know what they always say... umm... damn.. I almost had it... crap this'll be bothing me the whole night now..." Grevious made his way into the clearing panting lightly after the days run and slowly stood up stright. He took one deep breath and his breathing regulated. Looking around he saw Zeno's back pack on the ground and then looked around at the clearing. "here?" He asked sneering a little at the chosen campsite.

"You have nothing to worry about if you do not plot against Keirdon. " Sylph reassured. "Though it will not be the same for anyone bearing the name Nevar." she added darkly.
"I am certain that Issildia knows well enough that she faces imprisonment upon arriving. Though I suppose that isn't such a bad thing." Sylph remarked with a smirk.
At that moment Issildia stepped out of the forest behind them. As she passed by Sylph she directed a threatened glare at her. "Have a nice walk?" Sylph asked sarcastically.
"Better than expected," Issildia replied dryly as she removed her blade from its sheath and began to wipe away the traces of blood adorning its surface that had been left behind from dealing with the lone Larovian scout that she had come upon while completing her sweep through the forest. Sylph paled at this as she looked from Issildia to Sin with an expression akin to disgust, “Bloody degenerates.” she muttered.

Archer's eyes scanned the horizon fruitlessly. It seemed Issildia had done what she set out to do. He watched the stars, feeling alone in his life. All he had was a single companion who probably doubted his worth. The rest in the group either did not know him, or mistrusted him, he was sure. He missed his brother slightly, and the old days before their parents had been killed.

"Wow Sylph... you really must like haveing all your snide little comments heard by people, cuz if I heard that then there's no doubt everyone else did..."
Sin smiled at Sylph and shifted in the tree trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

~Azrielle had decided to take a rest within the forest of 1000 souls as the infection that plagued his body was casuing a phenomonal fatigue within his body. He knew better than to sleep in a place such as this, for his presence would surely attracted the creatures that dwell within its borders. Landing in a tree he took a seat on one of the branches and folded his wings over his shoulders. He reached behind him and unsheated his blade...Mugetsu. An Indigo colored aura could be seen shining around he blade. It pulsated completely in sinc with his own heartbeat. He became mildly tranquil by this light, and he could not understand why. Noticing a few of the creaures gathered below him, he sheathed his blade and pulled a peculiar flute out of a pouch hanging frmo his belt. He began to play an unusual tune on this flute, which in turn caused the primitive creatures below him to calm themselves and fall deep into slumber. This tune also playe a role in calming the malevolence within his own soul as he rested. As soon as his body recovered he would continue on his journey and hopefully soon make contact with his objectives.~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile, back in Larovia~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Malkaia had made his way to the ruins of Anier to search for what he considered the key to ascension. He made his way to the deepest ruins which were all that were left of Lizzera's castle, and indeed he found what he was searching for... three fragments of the Onmi Crystal. Once he tucked them into his pouch, he only needed to take a glance behind him to find two indivisuals prepairing to strike him down.~I was beginning to think you weren't going to show up.Sunactos: Save it Malkaia. That scar on your face proves it. YOU ARE NOT AN AZERIAN!!!Solace: Yeah, we've had suspicions for a while. You are the one that murdered an entire clan of Azerian warriors with your ARcana.My my my. You have done your homework.Your face is the exact same as that beast you brought us. Who sent you here? What are you planning? stare Do you really believe I will tell you?Do not test us Malkaia. You stand on dangerous ground right now! *a platoon of Darsha's archers appear behind him ready to attack* Dangerous ground? evil You have no idea what you are dealing with, maggot.~Malkaia suddenly raised his hand to head level. Making sure he was in plain sight, his hnd and forearm suddenly burst into dark flames. ((Indigo coloered Flames))~WHAT THE HELL?!?All of you...KILL HIM NOW!!!FIRE!!!Die... evil ~Just as the archers released their arrows, Malkaia raised his hand above him releasing the flames into the air above. They spread across the sky and covered the ruins in their heat. The arrows that were fired all desintigrated before they made contacted with his body. Once the area was completely covered in this light, an erruption of these dark flames suddenly shot towards the heavens. A pillar of flames could be seen for miles upon miles, even from the confines of Trenia Sekia and Faltora. Once the flames subsided, Malkaia was the last man standing, as he stepped passed the charred corpses of Sunactos and Solace. He looked back at the chaos he had left behind as the falling debris had finally started to impact with the earth, and spoke one phrase, not in his native language, but Larovia's current language.~Uuma ma' ten' rashwe...Ta tuluva a' lle. Don't look for trouble...It will find you.
((THis is the tune that Azrielle is playing just in case someone is currious. Garden of the Gods))
~Dawn came swiftly enough the following day as Issildia prepared the duo of horses for travel. Exaustion was not quite the word that could define her current state, for she had barely gained any rest since Anier's fall some weeks ago. Nightmares plagued her sleep, and memories haunted the waking hours. But little reprieve was in sight, for they had a least two days of travel left and a battle to be fought all to soon. It troubled Issildia that in the time that they had been traveling to Faltora that they had come upon only one larovian scout, it gave the impression that Reinsen was gathering all his forces to him and ignoring the chances of anyone slipping past his nets to aid Keirdon. It seemed that he would rather risk a breach in his defenses than risk his armys' ability to bring down Keirdon in a single strike.
"If we travel on through the night we may arrive in Faltora by dawn" Issildia stated. "In any case we should quicken our pace, for Keirdon's time is short."
Without another word to the others who were still preparing to leave Issildia stepped down from the rise that their camp had been located on to continue on towards the west.
Sin just finished putting in the last few things into his back before looking up to see Issilida walking off down the rise and to the rest. Pulling the string closed on his bag he picked it up tossing it over his sholder and quickly following after her.
~When the dawn finally came, the rays of the morning sun could not penetrate the layer of darkness that loomed above the Forest of 1000 Souls. Azrielle, still in the same tree in which he had landed the night prior, stood in his position. His wings still folded over his shoulders, he leapt out of the tree, and landed quietly in the center of the very beasts that had slept beneath him throughout the night. Walking over to what seemed to be a Panther Demon in its primitive state, he pet it lightly on its head, and listened to its purr. He then began to walk away, not realizing that he had awakened the other beasts, which were no longer under his spell. A few of them fled in fright, while the last one that remained attempted to make a meal of him. Before the beast could strike, its blood stained the ground as the Panther demon struck ot down. It then trotted over to Azrielle and nudged itself against him. He stroked its fur once again, and proceeded to exit the forest with the creature by his side.~
~The single detachment of Larovian soldiers that had been dispatched to guard the eastern borders of Faltora had been scouting the area for days to find nothing that could threaten the Larovian forces. But finally as the noon day sun began to arc towards the horizon they caught sight of the very sort of thing that they had been sent out to stop. They were about half a day from the city in terms of travel when they spotted the group coming across the plains of Keirdon. So they decided to forego sending a messenger to their commander to alert the army to what they had seen, and to simply deal with these travelers themselves.~
Issildia as walking alongside the horse that Sylph was riding when the whistling sound of an arrow cutting through the air caught her attention. A single arrow landed little under a few feet in front of them, the steel colored fletching on the arrow told Issilda all she needed to know. "Get down, all of you!" As she said this while dropping to a knee; the following volley of arrows arced into the air. "Ram en' naur!" As she extended her left hand and uttered those words the very light of the sun's rays seemed to flare around the arrow volley. With a subtle flick of her left hand the arrows burst into pale colored flames, raining northing but ash down upon the intended targets.
Immediatly Issildia stood; scanning the horizon for the enemy she spotted nothing but a sharp rise in the terrain, an ideal place for archers to take cover while launching an attack.
Issildia looked back to Sylph who was now on the ground with her bow in hand. "Return fire and cover us as best you can."
"You can't expect me t...!" Sylph's voice trailed off as Issildia drew her blade Nyththirren; in the same moment her form faded away into shadow. As Issildia reappeared in the same fashion on the side of the rise still facing the others, Sylph gave up in coming up with a clever retort and drew and arrow from the quiver and quickly nocked it, aiming towards the rise. "All of you go! I'll cover you as best I can." As she said this a sickening cry echoed out from the other side of the rise where Issildia had silently slipped to, obviously she had gotten her hands on one of the larovians.
Sin hadn't moved at all during the first volly of arrows shot at them. Onces Issilida dissipared and Sylph shouted for them to go he burst into action. Smileing he sprinted fowards shouteing his war cry and keeping an eye on the air for the next volly of arrows.
"WASSSAAABIIIII!!!!!"
He ran as fast as he could right at the only terrain feature around, the sharp rise off in the distance.
There were nearly fifteen larovian warriors hidden behind the rise, a third of their number were archers while the rest wielded and assortment of weapons. The first to fall by Issildia's hands was the closest of the archers to her position, silently she had slipped in behind the celtarie and quickly and painlessly snapped his neck. Though this move eliminated the element of stealth for Issildia as the remaining soldiers turned their attention to her.
As the blade of a silver washed falchion darted in towards Issildia's neck she twisted out of the path of the weapon, as soon as she assumed a new position Issildia lashed out in a diagonal slice with Nyththirren. The blade cut through the armor of the nearest soldier with a shower of white sparks, instantly sending her opponent to the ground with a wound to the chest.
At that moment, through the shadow manipulation of the celtarie commander, the shadows cast by the sharp hill seemed to come to life. Tendrils of darkness lashed out to try catch Issildia by the arms, as this happened a startled expression crossed Issildia face as she was caught by her right wrist. But this lasted for only a fleeting moment as Issildia muttered an incoherent phrase under her breath and a brief flare of light ensnared the shadow immediately eliminating it.
Issildia then hurriedly raised her blade to block the forthcoming blow of a larovian swordswoman who had attempted to take advantage of the immobile enemy. Forcing the swordswoman back Issildia quickly countered by lunging forward to drive her blade nearly up to the hilt in her opponent's torso.
With a sickening rending of flesh she withdrew her blade and quickly turned to the next of the soldiers...
~As Sin approached the battle, the four archers of the group emerged from behind the rise and took up aim. As soon as Sin drew close enough for an unavoidable shot ,the bowmen released the arrows...~
With the rise of the archers Sin picked up as much speed as he could and slapped his hand together at the twelve and six o'clock positions and seemed to pick up even more speed. By this time the achers had already fired and with a massive leap Sin dove headfirst into the arrows. One arrow missed while another two slashed by him and cut along his arm and leg. The forth and last shot hit it's mark and stabbed deep into his sholder Casueing Sin to grimice in pain.
The archer that hit him in the sholder had only a moment for his life to flash before his eyes before Sin slammed into him with his fist. The impact of Sin's punch added with Sin's momentum only made the crushing blow even more powerful. The Larovain archer was sent flying backwards skipping over the ground like a skipping stone over water.
Rolling to a stop from the leap Sin stood up and glared at the remaining archers as he reached up and pulled out the arrow in his sholder with a massive pull. His face flinched in pain as the wound began to bleed but with a sissleing noise not only the wound on his sholders but the ones on his leg and arm all cauterized and stopped bleeding. Sin cracked his knuckles stareing down the archers with eyes that glowed like embers in a fire.
"now you all die."
With that Sin Charged fowards at the last three screaming like a deamon.
~As the battle ensued, the man in Black Armor, Akurei Takinowa stood back wathing all that transpired. He was in a position were he could clearly see the Larovian platoon to his right, and Issildia's party to his left. Monitoring the aura of both groups, he could feel the tides fo the battle shifting as theur assaults continued. His own aura once again hidden to all, except those whom have felt it once before, he silently watched the battle, refusing to aid his 'comrades' as a familiar figure appeared to his rear.~
What do you want?
How long do you plan to keep up this ruse? You could destroy them in a single motion if you wished.
You're right. I could, but what satifaction would I gain from such an act? What reward could I acquire from their deaths. None. The lives I seek, are that of Reinsen and Darsha Nevar.
What? I thought you were seeking to make them an ally?
I have no need for allies of their stature. They are great warriors, yes, but their thoughts are clouded by their own greed. So much so that they could never fathom the truths behind their actions. And soon enough it will destroy them both.
Have you seen this?
Anyone could see the errors of their ways. Either way, it seems that until we find her, our plans will never come to fruition. Have you any progress?
No. She is just as elusive as you, my lord.
Keep looking. She could not have left Trenius Sekia. Do not rest until she is back in the Palace. Go.
Yes, your magesty. *she disapeears*
Soon the Nevar bloodline will be erased from the timeline. Issildia, I would have liked to keep you out of this conflict...but you already know too much. Nai uuvanimo turamin!
~Just then, Akurei, from his position raised his hand toward the heavens. The rumble of thunder suddenly engulfs the area. The coulds begin to release several runic symbols and they all make contact with the very shadows that the commander had summoned. The shadows take a twist in color, now remebling a blood red form than their usual shade of black. As Akurei continued to watch the battle, a smile of satisfaction envelops his face as the very shadows that were attacking Issildia Reinsen's troops, now began to slaughter the Larovian soldiers as well.~
