Venerax sat up after finally calming down the excited Hoothoot. Lightning flashed once again though it was further away, and the clouds were lightening. But across the dark river there was no sign of the person who had called out to him. He was cold, tired, bruised, and muddy. I just hope they went to get help.

Van ran down the road back home. The sun was high and warm, and so were his spirits. This was turning out to be a great day. My own Growlithe. He grinned, and continued full tilt back home, and hopping down off a ledge, never really stopping.
"Wahoooo!!!" He landed with a thud, and kept on going.
What am I going to do? I could challenge Pryce. No, I'm not ready to challenge him yet, but will be. I'm one step closer to beating him, and one step closer to being a Gym Leader.

She awoke to the soft noise of the water from the nearby river. Mike had yet to arrive and she had decided to take the train to Lilycove and then head for the Safari Zone. "Houndour or a Mareep?" She repeated to herself, not sure which Pokemon to add to her party. "I think a Houndour will do wonders to the team." Mitsu said and headed off for the train station.

She boarded the train reassuring herself that Mike won't be there soon so she wouldn't miss his arrival. "The Safari Zone! I can't wait!" She said completely forgetting her finical situation.

The loud, blaring sound of the train's horn signaled it's arrival at Lilycove City. Mitsu departed from the train and walked off to Route 121. She walked into the tall grass. Many Oddish were scampering about running here and there. "I see it! The Safari Zone's right up ahead!" She called out, exicted for her next capture.
"You'll have to get past us before you go!" Two trainers shouted out. "We challenge you to a tag battle!"
"I accept." Mitsu replied.
"Winner gets into the Safari Zone free." The girl said, quite confident that'll they could win.

Ryka walked over to the pizza place, which was next to a narrow alley. She saw a girl in there, almost crying. Ryka quietly walked down it until she got to the girl. "Are you ok?" She asked, hoping nothing was wrong.

"Alright!" Mitsu said happily soon realizing her absence of funds to get into the Safari Zone. "Let's go Ebony and Ivy!" Mitsu called out throwing two Pokeballs into the air. Both came out ready for a battle.
"I choose you Meowth!" One called out and the other girl had choosen a Phanpy.
"A peice of cake!" Mitsu said diving right into the battle. "Ivy Giga Drain that Phanpy! And Ebony use your Hypnosis on that Mewoth!" Before any of the girls could have reacted the pokemon were hit by the attacks. Phany took quite a lot of damage and the Mewoth was now asleep.
"Phany use you Take Down!" One of the girls called out. The Pokemon charged at the Ivysaur ramming it to the ground doing some damage to itself.
"Don't take that! Ivy Giga Drain That Mewoth and Ebony use you Shdow Punch on that Phanpy!" The Pokemon did as they were told scoring major damage on the Pokemon.
The Phanpy had already taken too much damage and fainted while Ivy finished off the Mewoth. The girls handed Mitsu $500 for the Safari Zone and dashed off to the Pokemon Center.

Mike had just finished his pizza, feeling full he sat back and smiled. "Man that was really good..." He nearly dozed off, food always made him tired. "I wonder where Kasiya went, and I need to move fast if I want to go see Mistu."
Nitro swiped his claw at the Breloom, although it was too slow, Portabello countered his claw by whipping it with his tail.
The fight moved outside, both not ready to give up.
You know, for a walking tree you are pretty fast! Nitro smirked as he kicked Portabello right in the gut, causing him to step back a few feet, clutching his stomach. Oh yeah? Well, you''ll find I''m full of surprises! On that note, Portabello crouched down and leapt up, clearing the building and landing on the roof. Nitro growled, he wasn''t able to jump that high, if only he had wings. Oh wait, I almost forgot! He reared back and blasted a hot stream of fire from his mouth, taking Portabello completly by surprise. Oh crap! I did forget! He tried to dodge but the fire engulfed him, causing him to roll off the building.

Kasiya looked up as she heard a soft, female voice. "Oh hi," she said, smiling. "Yeah, I'll be fine," she said, forcing a laugh. "Just boy trouble, that's all." She sighed. "Love is stupid," she added after a few moments.

((I'm catching a Houndour okay? Oh and my journal had four pictures I recently drew. Take a look if you want. whee ))
The entered the building and gave the person her five hundred Pokedollars and in turn she recieved thiry Safari Balls and had 500 steps. Immedatly she began looking for her Houndour.

After fifteen minutes of searching threw grass she hadn''t some across a single Mareep. She sat down under a shady tree taking a break when something pink walked by.  Wild Houndour appeared! Level: 28 Attacks: Leer, Ember, Howl, smog, Roar, Bite

The Safari Ball shook back and foruth the red light bright. After minutes the lighted died down as well as the rocking. "Yes! I caught a Houndour!" Mitsu said. "I''ll call you Sapphire!" She walked out of the Safari Zone returning the other twenty-nine balls to the person she had recived it from. She ran out to the train station, flashed her ticket and boarded a train bound for Mauville City.

((Why does everyone disappear when I arrive? gonk ))
During the train ride the Pokemon got acquainted with Sapphire, well all of them except for Nightmare due to his size. Karri especially happy to have another girl Pokemon to chat with. Mitsu recalled them and dozed off a bit only to be awoken a couple minutes later by the blarring horn. She got off the locomotive and walked to the PokeCenter hoping to find Mike there.

((I can't really do much, I'm waiting for Ryka to post again whee ))
Seto watched Nitro and Portabello take the fight outside, and breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, he grumbled, and began to groom one of his paws. He noticed Mike and Kasiya were really close together, then suddenly Kassie got up and ran out of the restaurant. "Meowth?" he asked, jumping down from his perch and following her, making sure he wasn't noticed. Fang, who now was enjoying a game of chase his own shadow, managed to catch a glimpse of a furry tail leaving, and also decided to follow.

"Oh," Ryka replied."Boys are strange. How does anyone understand them?" Ryka smiled at her and put out her hand to help her up. Thunder and Aurora noticed a shadow approaching, and ran out to see what it was. They smiled at the sight of another Pokemon and waved at him.
