Arcanas Hoshioni Arcanas they're not overspecialized...they're just very specific, on who they do their full amount of damage on. which to me isnt worth it, i like simplicity, and elegance....like a katana Katana are also very specialized weapons...actually, most bladed weapons are specialized...they're not all purpose there not perfect but they arent one trick ponys with mastery

Hey snaps I'm back. Sorry about battling and then dissapearing.
The key is to think about how you are being attacked and then planning ahead. I used to play the random battles on Pokemon Battle Revolution and I was beat up regularly. A good portion of my pokemon are the result of me thinking up counters to what I fought. Also try to find ways of turning your opponents strengths against them, if what your opponent is going to do next is obvious don't be afraid to switch.

"I am Sai, To surpass my brother and become the best!"
@Hoshi, Hate to burst your bubble, a Katana is a One trick Pony. It's trick is the draw. The Katana's grace and elegance are due to it's Speed off the Draw. The Force of the Katana is easily dwarfed by most other two handed swords.

The Frozen flame of Johto! Well, yes and no Sai. Depends on what kind of Katana you're using. A No-Dachi won't get the same effect as a Katana, which won't do the same thing as a Wakazashi And even then, all that depends on the skill of the user. One of the things that makes a Katana quite versatile in combat, is the fact that the sword can be used one handed or two, since it's fairly light weight, and then there's also the flexibility of the blade itself, due to the two types of carbon steel used in the forging process.

The Frozen flame of Johto! where do u base your info off of??? 100's of years of war tatics founded there advanced parry skills....XD but this was only a metaphor anyways. point is adaptability is better then anything else especially considering the 4 moveset limit but can u imigine the difference 6 move slots could make.....XD

"Every scar is a lesson...We're talking swords?
In all honesty, your best bet would be a rapier. Extremely fast. With a rapier, power isn't needed to take out your opponent. Speed will do just fine. ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."

The Frozen flame of Johto! I respectfully disagree... Like I said, it all depends on user skill. And Claymores are really really heavy. and while the Wakazashi is small, I'd rather use that in a narrow hallway, than risk not getting enough room to swing. Most combat is about circumstance, and knowing how to work your environment to your favor

And what I love about a rapier, if you can't slash, it's just as potent with stabbing, not needing as much room, just a strong step forward
