 I am back from my vacation lightly toasted and a few lbs heavier from eating lobster back to back for dinner for 2 nights straight

How did the date go?

Date went well but not sure if he's up to a second date....in other news, I had to work through lunch, work late, and had to arrange for a summer student to cover supervisory duties all because new guy is beyond incompetent to the point that I can't get anything else done because I have to babysit him and he didn't do any proactive work so what is suppose to take half a day is now going to take 2 days for him to get done. We have our meeting tomorrow afternoon and at the rate he's working, he won't have his stuff done in time. And because I was so stressed out and tired from work, I forgot my umbrella at work when I left. And I didn't have time to make a Dr's appointment today even though I want to get a prescription refilled before I go on holidays mid month. I'll try tomorrow; hopefully I don't have to work late/get off before the Dr's office closes. And a friend is in town to visit today and tomorrow but I'm too tired and it's too late to meet up with her today. Not sure if I'll have time tomorrow either....

Being an accountant sounds terrible when you're trying to groom someone to the best of your abilities. As for me, I'm of course trying my very best to understand what my duties are and how to do them but then sometimes I mess up so badly that I go home in tears.

Guys, I'm quite distressed and sad about something I've come across in the Voltron tag on tumblr.
So there's a story there called Dirty Laundry, and there are people who sent hate mail and death threats to the writer of this story to the point where they suffered a nervous breakdown. And not only that, turns out that the author is also a MINOR.
Yeah, they gave a minor a nervous breakdown. Can you believe this? and over what? Just because they wrote something that doesn't cater to the pallette of the internet? They even wrote in a post about how they can't seem to enjoy writing as much as they used to after this incident.
Words don't even begin to describe how disgusted I am with this kind of behaviour.
